I suppose by actors you mean players there but anyway, I think Barcelona are on road to recovery. Given how Barcelona have been struggling financially, it is tough to keep up in transfer window but they somehow are adjusting by selling broadcasting rights and getting enough funds to be active in transfer window and bring players and make the squad strong. At this point they are obviously gonna struggle but if I compare the Barca 1-2 years back and the Barca right now, then I find the current Barca better with lot of potential. In my opinion, players like Gavi, Pedri, Araujo or Fati have lot of potential and can make Barca a world class squad again at some point if they are given chances like Xavi is giving right now.

If someone is thinking of absolute result from Barca, then forget it. They might have chance at other titles this season but CL requires just more than a better squad (otherwise teams like PSG and City would have already won something in these last 2-3 years). They are building a squad right now so expect few and up downs from them for the time being.

For some reason, I am starting to think that we had given the new coach of Barcelona, Xavi a little too much credit which he probably did not even deserve. I don't think that the performance of Barcelona actually improved that much, to be honest.

I know that a lot of people are not going to agree with me but that's okay. When he came as the coach of Barcelona at first, it was a sudden boost in the team. And he also brought back the favorite style of Barcelona, tiki-taka. And the style was quite familiar to the players of Barcelona. I think that's why they did well initially but now he does not have anything else to offer to Barcelona. And I don't think if it does not win the la Liga title he will not be under any kind of threat to lose his job.

We know that CDR may not be that important for Real Madrid because they always allow their substitutes to play if they reflect on the previous season but for La Liga it is clear that Madrid don't want that even though they are still quite comfortable at the top even though Barcelona are still stuck.
As for the Europa League, they were also the favorites last season but in the end they also failed because they even lost unexpectedly.

La Liga is the main target Xavi. I'm sure of it. after returning the game from Barca last season, and managed to finish well. this season Xavi will focus on La Liga.

That is going to be a hard endeavor in my opinion as Real Madrid constantly delivers solid results recently and I am not of the impression that that will change significantly. Hence Barcelona must step up their game if they want to keep Madrid'd pace or even overtake them. Everyone already thought that Xavi turned the weak Barcelona upside down already, but that is obviously not the case. The performance in the champions league now was almost without any passion and the goals against them looked too easy sometimes.

One way out is the EL, but I wonder what even the title in that competition would eventually mean to the fans and to the club as a whole. Winning the PD against Real Madrid is probably even more prestige.

Xavi should have done that because their defeat in the group stage had already happened, so moving on was a wise decision. Barca's chance to get the Europa League and La Liga trophies this season is still big.

There is no point for Xavi and the team to regret their failure in the Champions League because it will only make things worse. Although definitely disappointed that they couldn't continue to the next round, but they could try again in the next season. Focusing on the competition that provides them with great opportunities is the best move. La Liga still provides a big chance for them to win the title even though it is something difficult because Real Madrid are also in their best form. Now they have to strengthen themselves in order to achieve something they want.

Most people want Barcelona to get a title this season, now one title has been wasted. They still have another chance in the remaining competition. But I hope they don't just focus on pursuing the degree because if so it might affect concentration. Improving performance is still the main thing they have to do at this time.
