Maybe Barcelona board are waiting to see whether Xavi will carry the team to the La Liga title this season before taking a big decision about his future. I don't even think that they are considering to sack him in the near future. But missing the league title would cause a big fall in Xavi's credit in this team.

Considering that they were really poor against Real Madrid in the El Clasico, they need to improve their game more. Otherwise it is very difficult to get ahead of Real Madrid and win the title. For now, Real Madrid are the most reliable team to make it to this title. It is in Xavi's hands to change this by preparing the right game plan in big games especially.

I know Barcelona are also investing in defense this season where Alonso, Bellerin, Christensen and Kounde are the 3 defenders they signed in the transfer window and the start of the season but I'm not really sure Bellerin and Alonso are playing as expected. I could have expected something different if Araujo and Christensen had not been injured because both are typical good defenders. But unfortunately both injuries have thwarted Barcelona's plans this season. Now Barcelona must return to focus on the league or Europa League if they manage to qualify.

All Barcelona players did play well but the problem was in the defense, until now Barcelona is still having trouble managing a good guard and is still often broken by many opponents, yesterday Barcelona in the match against Bayern was very embarrassing because they had to submit 3- 0 by Bayern. Robert Lewandowski had no space to keep the ball well and struggled to score. in the previous match against Real Madrid Robert Lewandowski also did not have good space to control the ball so that it made Barcelona lose, this must be a tough evaluation for Xavi to get out of this slump.

You don't seem to understand the problem of Barcelona. Barcelona has ideology problem and coaching problem. Barcelona weren't doing well while even Messi was having his last years there also. But at least they never dropped down to the Europa League. We just watched them qualifying from their group every time but failing after moving on in next stages for some time.

Now they can't even qualify for next round. This is the second time in a row that they are joining the Europa League after getting bad results in group games. This is completely unacceptable for a team like Barcelona. Being successful in the La Liga won't be enough for them. They couldn't perform decently in the El Clasico though but anyway. Xavi needs to find the right strategies for the Champions League. He is managing the team there like it is his first time in the Champions League. However he has a big experience with Barcelona here as a player in fact. Besides I wonder how much bad their finance will be affected after their being eliminated in the CL.

This statistics is not a bad performance for a young and youthful coach. Xavi is still gaining experience and I am sure he would keep improving. There is a good match between the Barcelona players. During the game, Barcelona plays the matches with a cool head. Barcelona have the required players to meet up Bayern Munich strength in UEFEA and the both team players have the finished strikers with skillful wingers. There's absolutely nothing wrong with barça players, it's just that Xavi always start with the wrong lineups. He should start the good players other than the familiar ones, like Frankie de Jong who have the strength to defend and he's also creative. There are also some players in the team that he give them insufficient playing time like Ansu Fati, I believe Fati is one key player because he's versatile and always good with forcing the ball to his opponents box. It's time for Xavi to drop the old players and start with the young ones who are eager to play games.

I disagree with this comparison. Barcelona have a lower quality than Bayern Munich and they are completely at different levels. Bayern belongs to Tier 1 and Barcelona belong to somewhere in between Tier 2 and Tier 3. That is why they will join Europa League soon.

I agree that both De Jong and Fati should be given more opportunities to play. They are both good players especially De Jong who was a very important player for Barcelona before the return of Xavi.

Fati actually needs chance to play and improve after a long injury in the past season. I don't expect an outstanding performance instantly from Fati but Xavi must give this player more playing time.
