2-2 Osasuna vs Barcelona. I think Xavi was really frustrated with the mentality of his team not being able to hold on to the win today because it was pretty close to the final whistle. An unpleasant result of course for the fans, but overall Barcelona didn't play well today despite having more than 60% ball possession.

So for every Barcelona fan, I don't think you should expect much from Barcelona this season because they haven't been in good form so far. Xavi can indeed help, but it all depends on the players he has because it can affect the mentality and performance of the team in a match. It never was an easy game for Barcelona. Fact that Barca were having long list of injuries was the one thing. Secondly, their players recently played the Champions League game where they had to put themselves 100% in order to stay in CL but failed so their players were never 100% fit for the game. Xavi had to limited options and had to play young players. Still I would say Barca play good given the fact in what state they came on to play in this match.

Barcelona failed to defend very well after taking the lead twice,this shows how much strengthen the defense needs to improve.
I can remember vividly of chimey Avila scoring the winner against Villarreal and here the draw against Barcelona.

I was expecting Real Madrid to end a draw but my stake is currently on Madrid,Since barcelona has failed to win.

their dominance has been lost in the UCL and this is one of the losses for them and it can be said that it is true this is the worst season they have played since the 2003-2004 season and even more than the last 10 years.

they have to be humbled by this and the fans have to accept this

This match is far from over and am counting on it. Barcelona might be infront but Osasuna is far from giving up as they will try to win a point especially that they are playing in front of their home fans. By the way with Barcelona not being the strong team we once knew this game could end in a draw (2-2) and i have my figures crossed for this result to save my accumulator.

Barcelona controlled almost 79%, but high possession of the ball was not able to create many chances to score goals, while ossuna who acted as the host actually played quite effectively and created almost the same chances as barcelona, I think with a score 1-2 now , Barcelona winning position is still not safe and maybe Osassuna will surprise by creating a counter goal like what happened in the first half earlier.

Barcelona maintaining huge dominance in the game, still they weren't able to make much attack. The first half ended with 1-1 goal. Barcelona may win the match if they continue their dominance and make more attacks. Otherwise it will be a draw.

Ezzalzouli scored the second goal for Barcelona in the second half. He is doing a great job in today's match. Barcelona pass the ball, but the attack is very low. Now they are one goal ahead. So now I would be happy to play the defense and win the match 2-1. If Barcelona play aggressively, they can concede more goals. Because their defense is weak.

This game is so important for Barcelona if you look at the table and yet they can't manage to even dominate Osasuna. If they lose this or tie, the games they still have up their sleeves won't help them if they keep performing like this. We don't need to talk about the Championship anymore, but the qualification for the Champions League is in serious danger. Imagine Barcelona starting in the Europa League next year...

Sevilla is the closest team to Real now but I don't feel they can mount a serious challenge during the rest of the season.
