I believe dropping points in the game is the fault of the manager, Ancellotti substitutions was not the best he made those substitutions too early in the game and affected their performance. Maybe he forgot he was playing against Atletico Madrid and decided to sub off key players in the game. He should have waited till around 80' minutes before making substitutions now they have failed to utilize the opportunity to close in on Barcelona and are still 3 points behind them despite Barcelona losing to Osasuna.

They should still improve their game if they want to be able to challenge Barcelona.

Sorry, but as a Real Madrid fan, this is a pathetic result. It's because we missed a golden opportunity to be closer to our main rival, Barcelona. We led the game until extra time, and we conceded when there were only a few minutes left. We got a horrible ending, and we let go of an easy win.

ATM did dirty to us; they provoked us, then the game paused. It really affects our players' performance. We looked so different before the pause. Things worsened when our coach, Carlo, decided to use his garbage subs. He put a lot of defenders in when Atlético was no longer threatening us.

Also, the bad thing is that the game makes us lose our main goalkeeper, Courtois. That game cost us a lot.

Not only El Classico between Barcelona and Real Madrid because in Laliga derby of Madrid also has high tension and it just happend yesterday that 1 red card and 4 yellow card total has been proven this match is very tight and indeed because the match have to paused it makes Real Madrid players lost their focus and even Ancelotti has been admitted that but regardless of Courtois incident Ancelotti says draw is fair result for both teams considering in this match both teams is equally strong and Ancelotti said too the derby always be difficult match for Real Madrid

Recently i have read about Courtois injured update and Real Madrid medical team has been confirmed that Courtois have to absense for at least 1 month or could be more but i think this shouldn't be a big problem because last season Courtois too got the injured even he have to absense for almost whole season but luckily Real Madrid has Andriy Lunin who can replaced Courtois position as a goalkeeper and i think this season too will not so different because Andriy Lunin most likely will be played while Courtois not available

He would be very happy to get into actions consistently for a while as the first choice goalkeeper is out. I think this is his opportunity to prove himself of higher competitive standard compared to the first-choice keeper or even attract other clubs admiration so he secures the duty of first-choice GK at the team.

The match was a huge battle between to two giants with athletic team supporters getting too emotional with the initial victory and obstructing the match flow at some point, but in all I think the points being shared is a good result for both team considering the struggle they put in

I'm still happy we haven't loss any match and Barcelona has loss one despite the run up and top of the table, only one more loss and Real Madrid will over take them.

I still think that Barcelona is like a deer, running away from a lion, not all lions catch all deers, some deers get away and save themselves, Barcelona may do like that and get the title, but the Lion is chasing there is no doubt about that, Real is trying to catch up and while this week wasn't good for either, we can see Real not make many mistakes all season long.

Eventually, they figured it out, mostly by just making those people not be able to enter any games and banned them from the games, and when those couldn't go to the game, over years, the other calm heads started to be doing better, not right away but after a few years it became better and better.

Turns out the derby was more about drama than football!
I don't get why some say it was such a disputed and great match, maybe they have watched a different game but there were exactly 3 goal opportunities for both teams in one hour of play, hardly spectacular, and a lot of broken play with a ton of missed opportunities to even build on something.

If it weren't for the drama with the supporters and the interruption it could have been a match to be forgotten easily!

I think that "nobody is guaranteed a starting spot" and "you are not guaranteed a starting spot" are two very different things. And if Flick said the first thing, then these are probably just general words and everyone understands that Szczesny is coming to be the main goalkeeper until Ter Stegen returns to action. Real Madrid was about to get away with three points from this match and if that had happened, Barcelona would have been under pressure for sure. Not saying that Barcelona is not under pressure right now. The point difference is definitely not a month between Barcelona and Real Madrid right now.

By the way, Barcelona had a great chance to win against Osasuna. At least that’s what it looked like on paper. If Barcelona had been able to win that match, they would have been ahead by more points and could have had themselves a lot more breathing space.
