Madrid's draw feels like a loss to me. It's unacceptable to see them concede a stupid goal deep into extra time. It happened after Atletico did nothing all game. And with Barca dropping some points earlier (who knows when they will drop points again). Of course, it feels like we're missing golden opportunities.

The worst thing is that we conceded that goal after having 6 on defense, with 4 of them being fullback. we did it when we were only up 1 with 20 minutes left. It's truly a shameful result.

This match was quite dramatic for me, it's the same like I watch movie with end with anti climax. I'm almost sure Real Madrid can win versus 10 players, but the injury time drama always shocked me, it's the same situation like manchester city vs arsenal with end draw on injury time. I bet Arsenal and Madrid at that time but again, the injury time drama ruined all the wins. I don't why the time is extended is always long, 5', 7' and I have even seen until 10'. if I'm not mistaken, the year of 90 it was before 1 or 2' and at most 3 minutes. Now extended time is too long, sometimes many goals are created at that time, and ruin the win.

Rivalry is re-established and things like this are always interesting when there is a big match because it cannot be denied that matches in the Madrid derby or El Clasico spices like this are always a pretty interesting dish to watch even though in the last few seasons a little lost but Madrid and Atletico this season seem to revive that.

The match was well worth watching and the drama in extra time where Corea managed to get a goal because Rudiger's hand VAR check made him not offside and a red card for Llorente made Atletico a little wary.

It is a football match, there is no 100% guarantee for a favorite team to win the match. Everyone may favor Barcelona to win the match but Osasuna could deal with Barcelona game. They know how to anticipate Barcelona game, so Osasuna has a chance to win the match. Moreover, there are some key players to put on the bench (Yamal, Raphinha, Balde), this makes Barcelona not play optimally.

Anyway, this is something usual in football match. I'm not really surprised if Barcelona could be defeated with 4 goals. As far as I know, Girona also could beat Barcelona with 4 goals in the last season.

Fair or not, it depends on how you view it.
I assume Real Madrid deserve to win the match if there is no additional injury time.
But if we look at the stats of the match, it is surely fair to end up with 1-1.

Indeed, things like this are not really justified and I personally also don't really like where there is a condition that is actually too excessive in terms of the attitude shown from Atletico supporters in this match even until several Atletico players and Simeone intervened to reduce the emotions and propocations made by the supporters in the middle of the second half this time.
Although their reasons will certainly make little sense where they must also be carried away by the hot atmosphere of the match especially with some friction of the players in this match but their behavior also cannot be justified by the throwing done because it does not reflect mature supporters.

It's just that in this case the behavior of supporters who sometimes are not too mature is not a new thing it seems for La Liga and the federation should take quite firm action but what happens in La Liga actually seems indifferent. Back to the topic of the match although I'm not satisfied with the result because Madrid couldn't get 3 points but I agree with what you said that this 1 point is still very worthy.

I had predicted earlier that both teams would most likely draw and it really happened, after Barcelona was defeated by Osasuna so Real Madrid should be able to take advantage of this moment to catch up with Barcelona, then I realized Real Madrid's opponent was Atletico Madrid well of course it's not easy for Real Madrid to get 3 points so I think both teams will draw and maintain their unbeaten record.

This draw does not change their position in the standings but of course it is beneficial for Barcelona to keep the points difference, yeah it's true that Real Madrid are only a few points behind but as the main rivals one point is very important so there should be no reason to miss out on a point if they want to stay on track. Honestly, for this season I am still waiting for Kylian Mbappe's contribution to bring Real Madrid to take over the standings, of course it's a shame when Real Madrid has great players but can't compete with Barcelona.

What a great match, the resistance of both teams was very tight, even from before the match until the end of the match, the tension in the stadium was very high.

I thought Real Madrid would really be superior especially after Militao scored 1 goal. However, really, carelessly, Ancelotti had withdrawn several main team even though the condition was still quite crucial. Real Madrid failed to maintain their lead, and were forced to share points with Atletico Madrid in today derby match, with the result they still maintain their unbeaten record in 8 matches. The course of the match was very dramatic, showing some unexpected actions, until the referee had to stop the match temporarily. In terms of statistics, both teams recorded balanced results, maybe if Mbappe was not absent, the result of the match would be different. Overall, Ancelotti is still quite difficult to get full points at the home of his city rivals. Football is one very hard thing to predict.Before you can predict a game and win,then you must be very lucky.I predicted Barcelona to win Osasuna yesterday,but they ended up losing that game by 4-2.
I know nomatter how good a team is or how inform a particular team is,there must be that team that has a record against that good team,which anytime they meet,they would make game become so  tough and uneasy for them,but I believe they will vent their anger in the next leg,and another reason they lost this game is because they have champions league to play within the weak,but they will have to try and win their championship league next leg

One Thing about this draw of a thing is that the team will be thinking of they haven’t lost a match and the draws will be doing it’s damages, personally I have this reservations or perspective that I stead of drawing the match one should just simply lose that match. Only time I cherish a draw is when the match is against my biggest rival or the opponent is a title contender. This is because the draw will simply take away full points from them and it will simply still put you on their edge only.

I like the way this Laliga season has kick started, just three points separating the first and the second which is interesting considering the 11th week will be the el Classico, personal I wanted this game against altletico to have ended in Real Madrid favour to help them close gap on Barcelona before their match. But With things standing this way it will be a big day at Bernabeu if both teams don’t drop points before then

I had thought that Real Madrid would use this weekend to close the gap between them and Barcelona to the bearest minimum which is at least 1 point. I never knew that they had to draw today's match. The nearly would have robbed today's match in their favor if not that the Athletico Madrid were lucky. I was surprised when a yellow card was shown after scoring a goal. If a goal which seem controversial is scored, the ref shouldn't be in a haste to give card, rather to consult VAR. I was surprised how fast the ref was to issue card.

Before this match, I had underrated ATM that gone are the days they give tough fight against Madrid and Barcelona, I wrote them out but they proved me wrong.

This Madrid derby has draw written all over it and both teams can never find it easy to get all 3pt, whenever they both play is like they don't want to make silly mistakes but they can't help it but make those mistakes. Madrid can't hold the ball like they used to same as the home team and I enjoyed how they respect each other, non underrated the other and I observed that this is the main Madrid without Mbappe.
This is how the Madrid team used to play no matter the awful display tonight they still have it in them to perform better. And I think this is the Madrid I used to know and if they play their next game without Mbappe they're going to be more better than what we saw in this derby and I think is because of this derby that made both teams to play like they're afraid of each other and the second leg would decide who's the giant between the two teams.

This is what a derby match should look like and ATM and Real Madrid gave us a very interesting performance tonight which I believe their fans wouldn't be disappointed with the result at the end of the game.
To be honest both teams played their best, they made sure they both had equal performance you could see that in their possession which is 50:50, goal attempts 4:4, likewise number of corner kick 5:5.

The end part of the game was full of surprises because I wasn't expecting the referee to award the goal because I felt it was an offside but after the goal was reviewed by VAR it was so obvious and the score line became 1:1, nice game anyways.

You should have played safe with your bet though its more like a tough game, when you compare it with other team though no team is small currently.. maybe you could have used win or draw since they've had some draws this season with no defeat.
Back to the game,  it was an interesting one actually,I didn't watch the first half but I did watched the second half of the  game and I must say the second half was somehow challenging for realmadrid  though  they made some moves in the early period of the second half but it became much more harder getting to the  last minute.
The Athletico Madrid coach actually gave the team a warning in the second half because  every obvious mess-up  Was treated by replacing the player but it was for the good though and the goal by correa was an amazing one he knew he won't get a goal if he tried to play a direct ball because he was under pressure so he had to dribble the keeper and at the same time he almost lose the ball as he was been pressured but it came put fine . Endrick also missed a chance though he made the right kick from the right position just that it wasn't on a clear path but the game was still a draw at the end atleast not beaten

You're right. It is a big chance to shorten the gap with Barcelona. Unfortunately, Real Madrid missed 3 points in this match.
When it was nearing the end of the match, I'm quite happy because Real Madrid looks to get 3 points. Sadly, there was a drama and the match should get an addition time until minute 90+10'.  

IMO. The reason Ateltico could score a goal, it is because Ancelotti changed all the strikers (Vinicius and Rodrygo). I'm quite confused why Ancelotti didn't let one of them to play until the end of the match? Endrick is still not in the same level with Vinicius and Rodrygo. When there was no Vinicius and Rodrygo in the field, Real Madrid attacking was decreasing a lot. This is the advantage for Atletico Madrid, they could focus to attack.

This was one of the most exciting matches of the week in my opinion with so much happening on the pitch during the Madrid derby. It was a little unfortunate that Madrid had to settle for a draw when the game was only a matter of minutes away but the final score seemed appropriate for a derby that was indeed very hot today.

It's just that apart from the score, I personally want to highlight the behavior that is not too respectful of Atletico supporters in this match because even though we know that this is a big match and derby where rivalry and prestige are shown but still the treatment of supporters cannot be justified when reacting too excessively in the modern era like now. A match that was very worth watching in the end was a little tarnished by the immature activities of the supporters that took place in the stands.
