The Madrid derby was a game that the result speaks for it perfectly well. Both teams did well in their respective possession of the game and also goals on target. The match was played in Atletico’s home and at some point the game needed to stop because of the Atletico Madrid’s fans throwing objects on Real Madrid’s goalkeeper. After the resumption from the break, we saw the equalizer from the Atletico Madrid player and it was indeed a wanted comeback at that point to get the goal and level the match.

It's not only Atletico fans. Their coach, Simeone, blamed Courtois for being provocative in that game. But he doesn't care about the fans' chants mocking Courtois. He's been feeding his team fans with a bad mentality. They totally showed the dark side of football in that game. And i think they should be ashamed.

As for the game, Real Madrid played well, creating several chances. But their poor finishing cost them the win. I was also questioning their coach, Ancelotti. He subbed in some defenders for his attackers.
It's a terrible decision by him. His garbage subs made us lose two points.

I think that "nobody is guaranteed a starting spot" and "you are not guaranteed a starting spot" are two very different things. And if Flick said the first thing, then these are probably just general words and everyone understands that Szczesny is coming to be the main goalkeeper until Ter Stegen returns to action. In general, this is a rather strange return, since Szczesny ended his career rather strangely - at an early age and without health problems.

That aside, I wasn't expecting Madrid to struggle for just a single point in that match.

That's football for you. A team who were extremely awesome last season could be this year's worst flop and I'm actually surprised Girona could come from competing with the likes of Barca, Atletico Madrid and even Madrid in the top position of the table to be scrambling for 12 place with just nine points same as Sevilla who are 13th on the log. There are some clubs I'd say the season is still fairly young and they can catch up but I don't know if I can say the same for Girona because they seem to be worsening instead of getting better I believe no one is beyond repair so maybe they can have a shot.

The Madrid derby ended in a 1-1 draw and for me, it was still a reasonable result, because I also considered that Real Madrid still needed time to make their squad perform and produce better results. Because so far, Real Madrid has found it very difficult to win even though they only play against mediocre teams, and more often get penalty kicks to score goals, and that's not impressive at all.

With Real Madrid's previous results like that, I personally am not sure Real Madrid won the Madrid derby last night. Sure enough, the final result was a draw even though Real Madrid almost won because Atletico was just able to score a goal in injury time. But in reality, based on the statistics, it also looks like the match was quite balanced, so it's no wonder the result was one point for them who are also still able to threaten Barcelona's position at the top of the standings.

Real Betis managed to defeat Espanyol at home. We could have seen a different result but Espanyol's goalkeeper had a good game.  In the 85th minute Lo Celso's goal gave Betis their 3rd win.
The most important match of the day was the Madrid derby. Atletico hosted Real at home. In a match where both teams struggled to beat each other, the match ended with a 1-1 score. Although Real scored the first goal, the excitement increased in the last minutes and Atletico managed to get 1 point with a goal in extra time.

Girona performance this season is actually quite bad if we compare when they had a fantastic start to last season, what happened to them last season we can't deny maybe just one season of luck because so far we don't see any sign of them being able to repeat it this season, starting the season poorly with only two wins from 8 games is definitely not something surprising after they threw away a lot of main players last season in the transfer market, to be honest for now it is likely that Girona will return to their status as a mid-table team in La Liga, while their chances of qualifying for the next round in the Champions League are also very small, what happened to Girona this season is not something surprising even though the season is still long but I never thought they could rise.

Recently i have read about Courtois injured update and Real Madrid medical team has been confirmed that Courtois have to absense for at least 1 month or could be more but i think this shouldn't be a big problem because last season Courtois too got the injured even he have to absense for almost whole season but luckily Real Madrid has Andriy Lunin who can replaced Courtois position as a goalkeeper and i think this season too will not so different because Andriy Lunin most likely will be played while Courtois not available

Girona haven't started the season well. There is no sign of Girona, who last season had no difficulty in defeating their opponents. This season it looks like they will finish in mid-table. They drew 1-1 away to Celta Vigo.
Atletich Bilbao hosted Sevilla at home.  After leading 1-0 at half-time, the hosts were unlucky to concede an own goal to Padilla in the dying minutes. Although Sevilla had more possession, both sides had equal chances to score.

People have normalized such behaviour in football which is absolutely disgusting. I too thinks there should be zero tolerance to fans violence in football. It's surprising how big games as La Liga still suffer from such act of violence from the fans. Bundesliga, Latin American leagues, South East Asian leagues too are infamous for it. Everyone of us has emotions and we want our team to win but for that hating others and using violence against each other doesn't make you a real sports fan. Governing bodies should identify the vigilante fans and ban them for life. That would bring some degree of normal sportsmanship in football ground.

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick have told the club's new goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny that he's not guaranteed to always start for the club rather that the former Poland international will have to fight for with Inaki Pena for the goalkeeping position. Do you think this statement by Flick is a way of making Wojciech Szczęsny to be at his best or do you believe that the club's goalkeeping position will be contested for by the two goalkeepers considering Pena's poor performance in the club's first league defeat at Osasuna on Saturday?

Overreacted to violence? Dude! No matter what happens inside the field between players, they are playing football and nothing can justify violence. You can defend the fans for throwing objects which is a very risky and dangerous act for towards the safety of players, just because you don’t like Real Madrid or another team. This aport is built on good spirit and sportsmanship.
Moreover, Atletico Madrid team mentioned that on their social media accounts about the measures taken against those fans which I consider criminals for destroying such good events, from putting players’ lives in danger to wasting minutes of the match and changing the rhythm.

LaLiga has been always like this and in many cases we have seen players getting hit and injured by fans, I believe that authorities should take action against these saboteurs as an example for the future.

A very balanced match and certainly entertaining for football lovers, this result is certainly very fair for both teams considering they are strong teams, but one thing that is very unfortunate is that Madrid's counterattack could not be utilized by Endrick to add goals if only he passed the ball to his teammates, maybe the percentage of goals would be higher.

On the other hand, I am quite disappointed with the ATM fanatic fans regarding the incident of throwing at T. Courtois, it was unnecessary, although I understand that in derby matches there are always unpleasant incidents but that was excessive, they deserved punishment.

Barcelona's overall condition last season was very poor and weak. All season we have seen erratic performances from Barcelona. At the same time Barcelona faced a financial crisis. As a result, they are not able to take proper steps to strengthen their squad. Barcelona are unable to buy talented players at the moment.

I'm happy that Barcelona performed as well as Hansi Flick did despite all these problems. Hansi Flick changed the overall situation of Barcelona very quickly. I believe Barcelona will win the league. Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid that are their biggest rivals are not consistent and are not playing convincingly so far. Real Madrid will get better of course, but so would Barcelona.
Barcelona has managed to be at the top of the table with 3 points despite having their main players injured. If they could play this way with a depleted squad, imagine what they will do with a good squad.
Frenkie, Fermin, Gavi and Olmo will return next month. These are very brilliant additions to the team's midfield. Then by January or December, more of their players like Christensen and Araujo will return.
They have gotten a goalkeeper too, so if they don't get more injuries, I think they can maintain their position at the top of the league till the end of the season.

One-city team matches are always hot and exciting. In fact, there are always moments when opinions differ between the two teams and always feel disadvantaged.
