I hope he, like Tuchel, can win the UCL in his first season. But I agree with what you said. Madrid will only be a lion without fangs if they do not have new players who provide solutions to problems this season. But what I'm surprised at is that I haven't heard of a transfer from Madrid. Are they really struggling with money and won't be spending this season? If this is true ah damn, I think they will fail again in UCL and league
There hasn't been an announcement for a single big transfer so far. It has nothing to do with Real Madrid having no money. They are all waiting and checking what the realty looks like on the transfer market this year. I am sure they will announce one big one very soon, but I don't count Real Madrid as a favorite for the Champions League title next year. Of course they are always able to win it, but I'd see rather other clubs in the pole position. Certainly Bayern Munich will be one of the fiercest competitors again even with the team they now have.
I guess their main targets could be Kane and Mbappe right now. They really want to strengthen their attacking line and it would be great to see one of these players at Real Madrid. It looks like Mbappe transfer will be a very tough one for them as PSG don't want to let him go at all. So, they could give up on him and make an effort to sign Kane.
Well, then Haaland is actually the best option. Paris has their sheiks, they don't need to let him go for 150 million, but Dortmund would probably let Haaland go for 150 million. Jesus Christ, typing that number made me realize how crazy the world is by now. 150 million for a soccer player
