I already explained it well If Real Madrid did not face many injuries in the beginning of the season, they could have won matches in a very easy way in the league fixture. As soon as the season started, Real Madrid had 6 crucial players unavailable, including defenders and midfielders, who were almost very important and key players to build up the game play. If Barcelona can come to win this game from being 2 goals down then I will accept that they have really improved obviously because I can't remember when last or how many times Barcelona do have a big come back win, the issues of Barcelona even last season during injuries woes or resting key players things don't often go well for them though they somewhat has good squad depth but inconsistency still finds a way to creep in.

Though it's currently 2 goals to 1 as Pau Victor just got in the scoresheet for Barcelona .

I guess I was completely wrong about my bet today and my previous prediction in the last post here, thinking that Barcelona would easily win and secure the match. Their defensive performance was a mess especially since they had not made mistakes like this all season. The odds for Barcelona to win are now over @10. You can call me a crazy bettor, but I’m going for it with a small amount, hoping that by some miracle the players and coach change their strategy to focus more on defense while enhancing their attacking style. Barcelona is known for comebacks, and todays match isn’t impossible for them, especially since they had much better ball possession in the first half.
Let’s hope this won’t be the first loss for this team.

We cannot just conclude that Barcelona will lose this match, but the two goals were scored without any reply in the first half is the main problem, they could have scored one goal before the end of the first half, but we can still see a better Barcelona in the second half because I can see that Lamin Yamal is still in the bench, maybe if he is introduced, they can get something from the game because he is a very good creative winger that can score goals.

Real built a team that is top heavy, their starters are awesome, but when more than a few bench players start to play, the yare not that good at all. So, a very healthy Real Madrid is 100 times better than any other team, even Barcelona, but the moment you have more than 2 players injured from the starters, you end up with a much worse Real Madrid suddenly.

Thankfully they have their injured players returning, Jude is already back, and I am sure that they are going to end up with more players back soon, and at some point Barcelona will have to lose, when that happens Real Madrid will be there to win their game of the week and get close enough. Barcelona is lucky that they haven't lost any points yet, but how long can they keep this up? They will end up losing or drawing eventually one way or another, they just need to hope Real does that too.

Right now, the gap is only four points. It could as instantly as simultaneously with Barcelona's game against Osasuna, wherein they have just conceded their second goal, change entirely. If Barcelona fails to score a reply and loses points, is a very hard blow for them in the face of their race to continue leading the standings.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will have to gear up for the next match against Atletico, which is surely going to be quite a tough nut to crack. But if Real Madrid can manage to win this match, then if tonight Barcelona loses, the former will just be only one point behind Barca. And then the title race can be made more interesting from this, and much pressure will mount on Barcelona.

Making Mbappe look like he's the most important player in the Madrid squad is something we seriously shouldn't be talking about after all he hasn't made a good account of himself since joining Madrid, let's forget about the goals because aside from that Mbappe is not even suppose to be in any starting list for Madrid. And how certain are you that he is not going to play? From all I have seen I believe he will, there are some games he's not suppose to start or being listed as the sub but the manager still plays him so let's watch and see what happens next.

Carlo Ancelotti gives Kylian Mbappé too much slack. He makes too many selfish decisions. He doesn't pass to available players. From what I've seen, if another player at Real Madrid did these things, for example Brahim Diaz, wasting a position without passing to another available player, Ancelotti would never forgive him, but when it comes to Mbappé, he's given too many opportunities. I'm sure he'll still be in the starting 11.
