But the performance of FC Barcelona doesn't show that they can not perform well in the champions League this season following how they started this season, I understand that they lost in the champions League competition against AS Monaco but that look came as a result of the red card they received in the game. The team has no big names to Ike they used to have in the past but the coach has been trying to manage the players in his team right now and I believe they can end up getting better and better if they are able to manage the players in their best performance.

About the players you mentioned, the team is struggling to survive the financial crisis they are into finding a backup for Lamal and Lewandoski is not possible at the moment unless they will recruit young players from their youth team.

Are you literally asserting that one of the goals was a goalkeeper mistake? I don't know whether you saw the goals or whether you just see that ter Stegen is injured and no matter how shitty Barcelona plays, it is instantly a goalkeeper problem. Lol, seriously. You should watch the summary of the game and then really please let me know whether you are still arguing that another goalkeeper would have saved a single one of the balls that hit the back of the net. I argue that the new goalie couldn't defend a single one of those shots that gave Osasuna 4 goals. Impossible. No Neuer, no ter Stegen, no Courtois, not anybody.

Yeah I also can't believe how Barselona played such a bad match. 4-2 against teams like Osasuna. It was by no means expected. Barcelona are still Top 1 in the points table but they probably won't be on top for long if they keep playing easy matches like this. Real Madrid is waiting for this opportunity. Barcelona lost an easy 3 points today. this is a negative sign for Barcelona. I was not prepared to see such a performance from Barcelona

Well, the defeat was quite surprising because from the beginning they were quite favorites and the probability of winning even though playing away was still very large in this match but they actually had to surrender with a fairly large score.

Pena didn't seem to have a good impression in this match because after several matches he was in the line up, he finally felt how a defeat with a sizable score and 4 goals nested in their goal. Well the handicap you are talking about was indeed -2.5 at the time of you writing the post. It must have been huge. Barcelona winning the game was like 1.55 or something and Osasuna was around 7.0 or 6.5 or so. Put on top of that a -2.5 handicap, that was definitely huge.

As for the rotation, I think it was bad by Flick to exaggerate like that. When I saw how many players he rotated, I already had a feeling that Barcelona is risking a big chance here to be the big winner of this weekend. Real Madrid and Atletico stealing points from each other and Flick thinks it is time for rotation.

You guys recall that Flick was giving a press conference where he said that he should have given one player who got injured more breaks? Maybe this was his response to his own statement that day.

I don't fully understand his decision as the Champions League game shouldn't be that hard. It's not like they are up against Inter Milan or another team one that level. Young Boys Bern next and then he goes for such a rotation against Osasuna, which by the way shouldn't have been underestimated in the first place.

Young Boys beat Galatasaray twice to get into the Champions League, apparently Flick (quite logically) assumes that after the defeat to Monaco even a draw with Young Boys will be a serious blow to Barcelona's prospects in the Champions League. Maybe not even in the tournament sense, Barcelona will score enough points to get at least into the preliminary playoffs, but in the psychological/mental sense.
The problem with rotation is that it always comes at the wrong time when the result is not achieved. If Barcelona had won today, no one would have criticized Flick for experimenting.

14 for 1.75, it wasn't that bad, after all, I was just 5.5 for Osasuna to win, and that already implied 1 goal difference.

Probably a lot bet on that winning streak to finally end thought this was the right moment and they pretty much nailed it.
The funny part is that somehow everyone who praised Bracelona as being invincible is making a Pikachu face when things don't keep happening like it's written in he starts they will keep winning

It is quite complicated to understand the decision taken by Hansi Flick regarding the starting line up of his team, especially since he trusts too much in their two young defenders who are rarely given playing time. ? 4-2 is quite annoying. Did Barcelona underestimate Osasuna before playing? I can understand why he left Lamine Yamal and Raphinha out for this game, but Sergi Domínguez for 85 minutes was his biggest mistake. Hansi Flick could have played Eric Garcia at centre-back and trusted Marc Casadó to partner Pedri in midfield, but Flick had other plans. The experiment failed, but Barcelona were woefully unlucky with some of their big chances.

Sergio Herrera deserves the man of the match award in my opinion, of course because he really managed to stop Barcelona's efforts to prevent defeat. There were some important saves in this match, but he made a mistake to concede the first goal.

Well the handicap you are talking about was indeed -2.5 at the time of you writing the post. It must have been huge. Barcelona winning the game was like 1.55 or something and Osasuna was around 7.0 or 6.5 or so. Put on top of that a -2.5 handicap, that was definitely huge.

As for the rotation, I think it was bad by Flick to exaggerate like that. When I saw how many players he rotated, I already had a feeling that Barcelona is risking a big chance here to be the big winner of this weekend. Real Madrid and Atletico stealing points from each other and Flick thinks it is time for rotation.

You guys recall that Flick was giving a press conference where he said that he should have given one player who got injured more breaks? Maybe this was his response to his own statement that day.

I don't fully understand his decision as the Champions League game shouldn't be that hard. It's not like they are up against Inter Milan or another team one that level.
