Real have just lost 4-1 against Valencia. What a bad performance, imo. But we can not expect anything else since he does not have many good players in his hand. Hope that the team will soon overcome this loss. Spirit is very important to Real at this moment

Zidane knows what to do in this circumstance. He has won many titles although he is quite young comparing to other football coach. You might have your point, sacrifice is necessary if he wants to achieve a title for this season

I hope that he can bring some new faces during the Winter transfering market. And he has to do something with Eden Hazard to. This guy has not performed well recently. I personally beliece that Eden can contribute more.

I didn't have time to watch the game, but I was damn surprised that Valencia scored 4 goals...What was happening, did Valencia played that good or Real was that terrible? This season I really think that Atletico Madrid has a solid chance to take the tile.

Real have just lost 4-1 against Valencia.
Oh really ? I missed that game last night. But it really surprised me because 3 of Valencia's winning goal came from penalties and 1 own goal from Varane. I think Madrid was bad enough in that match because there were 4 time the referee gave a penalty to Valencia despite failing the first time and only 3 chances were successfully converted into goal. According to statistic, Valencia's game was more effective than Madrid and that led them to victory. Very nice.

I personally cannot remember that Real Madrid and Barcelona both started a season so dramatically.

If you look at what kind of capital there is in those teams on the field, you could already start a whole la league with it. And Sociedad at the top.

Nice team, plays nice. Would be nice if we get someone else like Barcelona or Real Madrid as champion. The loss from 4-1 was really unworthy.
Both Barcelona and Real Madrid are losing their glory day by day. Look at Real Madrid, I don't see any star player in their forward lineup except Benzema. But before that they had a lot of star players. On the other hand, Barcelona has released Rakitich, Vidal and Suarez. And Messi is now 33. He is not playing as well as before. Both teams are going through a very critical time. Hopefully Zidane and Koeman have different plans for their team. They are both very experienced. At the end of the season I only want to see Real Madrid and Barcelona fight for the title.

It's actually a mystery to me why Real let Ronaldo go to Juve.
Real with Ronaldo and Real without Ronaldo are 2 quite different teams.
It is obvious that Real cannot find the right replacement for him.
The main problem in Barcelona is not that Messi is an old player but their internal relations and chaos at the club.
Regardless of these problems, Real and Barcelona remain top candidates for the spanish title.

I do not understand why people assumed everything was horrible for Barcelona this quickly anyway. They are 2 games behind opponents right now with just 1 game ahead compared to some and they are only few points behind. For example if they play the next 2 games and win, that is 6 points, they would become 17 points and that is 4th in the league above real Madrid, Madrid has 8 games so they would play 1 more game, which would mean either losing and being behind, tie and tie Barça, or win and be just 2 points ahead.

As you can see Barcelona was never really that bad, they weren't good obviously but they were never that bad. Madrid is not bad neither just because they lost one game, they are doing pretty decent as well. I believe it will be Madrid vs Barça at the end of the year once again.

Ansu Fati has successfully gone through knee surgery today and will miss next 4-5 months. That is a major blow for Barcelona to be without Fati for quite some months in the campaign. They already are wobbling a lot in LaLiga and this adds up more worries for Barcelona. (Source: https://www.goal.com/en-in/news/fati-five-months-out-barcelona-knee-surgery/eva223zf817m12vq4sz7e95bf)

He is the one of the players who have been playing good football in Barca. Will Barca struggle without Fati? well they have been doing eitherway with him earlier as well. Just adds up more problems for them...
4-5 months means somewhere between 18 and 25 games in La Liga and CL... ~He might be ready by this time for the next el classico! What a bad news for Koeman and Barca fans... Like the team isn't struggling enough with their weak defense and compensating it with scoring goals, now their top scorer is out Undecided

Every week La Liga always presents a surprise and this week Real Marid must fall in the hands of Valencia with a score of 4-1, even though many predict Real Madrid will win easily against Valencia. But in fact Madrid have to admit defeat to Valencia, in last night's match Madird had to concede 3 goals from the penalty spot, of course the record for most penalties in one game for Madrid this season, they had to receive three penalties for his opponent Valencia.
3 penalties and I didn't see too much noise (whining) about it at least from the staff comparing to other teams Roll Eyes That defeat is traumatising and as Zidane said: even the lack of many players shouldn't be an excuse for losing this way...
Next game scheduled for Real Madrid is hard, they will face Villareal but also for Barca which will face ATM. ATM crucial match will make them more comfortable in La Liga if they will win against Barca but also if Real fails too. Real Sociedad seems stable and solid too. It will be hell weekend after 11 days from now!

Real Madrid has very few good players that will prevent the team from performing well in tournaments. Zidane will have to sacrifice the cup and the Champions League to perform well in LaLiga, otherwise Real Madrid will fail in all cups.
Maybe it would be more accurate if at the moment there are some players who are injured (Dani Carvajal, Marco Odriozola, Nacho) and positif Covid-19 (Casemiro and Eden Hazard), their strength will decrease. I don't think Madrid will lose that much. The funny thing is, their defense awarded three penalties and an own goal for Valencia. I think they are also tired because their busy schedule their strategy is not working well. Benzema also suffered an injury during the match and had to leave the field.

Valencia 4-1 Real Madrid
There's a saying that says If You live by the penalty, you shall die by the penalty so this outcome was not at all a shock. Madrid fans didn't expect but  It just happened that way everyday is not always a good day let's bounce back & work hard. Nevertheless Real Madrid is always ready to perform better.

3 penalties in one game was just the hight of it. Not that it ended in the penalties but also, Real proceeded to conceiving an own goal. How sick can such a game be from the defense line. It was really aweful to watch and at the end, they tend to mitigate errors with quick plays but, Valencia wasn't ready to give them that chance and so, the game has to end in a loss for for Real Madrid. Valencia did quite a great job in coordinating there defence line and it sure paid off with a Real Madrid 0-4 Valencia win and it would go a long way in resetting the table. Barcelona fans must be really happy on this note.

Damn bruh , valencia doing a crazy comeback right now against real madrid, there's 3 penalty given for valencia, it's a madness .. with this .. you guys never ever pessi or penaldo again lol.
So should we change the name of the Hattrick penalty Hero from Carlos Soler to "Penlos" Soler?  Grin

Watching us take a lead then lose 4-1 to Valencia was terrifying. Our defense was in shambles. One of the biggest problems we have right now is Varane. He isn't that old, but he seems very nervous at the back every time the opponents applies pressure, and he ends up making silly error
Yess please no more pessi or penaldo again  Cheesy .

It seems both Barcelona and Real Madrid as the title contenders this season got a serious problem, they don't have a game changer like they used to back in the days where cristiano exist and the prime messi who scored 75 goals + 28 assist in a season.
Some says if real madrid bring mbappe to Santiago Bernabeu and Barcelona bring some real la masia talent in ( yeah they don't have enough money in this pandemic era so they just have to rely on their academy lol ) the heat between the two might be as excited as it used to.
But that's good to break the domination as we can see real sociedad and villareal on the top now lol

Real Madrid lost to Valencia with a score of 4-1, Valencia's three goals were scored from the white point after a Real Madrid player was hit by a hands ball. A very bad result for Real Madrid because their trend in la Liga is actually quite good by beating Barcelona in El Clasico last week.
In last night's match VAR really became a stumbling block for Real Madrid because of the three penalties that Valencia received after the referee saw the replay via VAR. Previously, Real Madrid always benefited from the existence of VAR but this time, Madrid got a very different result.
But Madrid are still at the top of the standings and the opportunity for Madrid to retain the title is still very wide open.

what a bad year for Madrid...
Madrid's performance in la Liga so far has been very disappointing, seeing from the match when Madrid vs Villarreal, I also think that Madrid will be difficult to win La Liga this season, especially the Champions League too.

Shame I didn't pick Valencia to bet on, but with the display they've been showing us recently, I don't think anyone would bet on them.
for the punters who follow specifically historical head-to-head results and believe in those type of stats, Valencia to find a good result yesterday (draw or win) at those odds (5.00 and above) was a no brainer

Historially, Mestalla has been a tremendously tough pitch for RM, they've only won there like a few times in the last decade or so...Even Gary Neville's Valencia from 2016, an era that lasted like 3 months, was able to put up a good fight against us and the match finished 2-2 (highlights from that match here,, that 1st goal tho, pass from Benzema, back heel pass from Bale, no look pass from Cristiano, clinical finishing from Benz...good times!)

Looks like my wish came true after all;) All I wanted was for Barca to win and Real to drop points, didn't expect them to lose like that though! Shame I didn't pick Valencia to bet on, but with the display they've been showing us recently, I don't think anyone would bet on them. What a fluke of 4 goals though, hope that damages Real's confidence!
