I agree that Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid should have a high chance to be in the top 3. Their performance is quite good although not really good as expected. But they seem to collect more points gradually and potentially to overtake Real Sociedad and Villareal in the top positions. Especially Atletico Madrid, so far they are undefeated and will directly lead the table if they win the next match. Regarding which team will be in the third position, it is difficult to predict since Barcelona must try all out to get there. While we don't underestimate Real Sociedad and Villareal, they have played solidly till now and they can be a black horse to win the La Liga trophy, not only for the third position.

Either they deserve the win, I don't know for that as my own judgement on deserving is based largely on their game play. They just got lucky to use the chaos in the defence and steal a 3 points from the great whites tonight. A mean, how many games do you watch and they have an own goal from Varane along with 3 penalties and even a retake on the a saved penalty on which, the your team mate happens to be the one that encroached on the shooting area. Carlos Soler surely did a good job scoring everyone of those penalties after then and they've got the 3 points they so desire.

I agree with you that Karim Benzema might just be the only striker on the Real Madrid team right now and they've just need to watch out for the worst should he sustain an injury. You can't defend a number one spot on the table or win a league title with just one striker. He's going to be targeted. Just as we saw Sergio Ramos targeted Muhammad Salah in the UCL few seasons back and Liverpool lost.

Why do you think Fatis injury would help Barca to find the perfect system they want to play? He has been a key player so far and they should have tried to find a system where he's part of. Now that he'll be missing probably the rest of the year, they will have to find alternatives and good substitutes for him which then will be replaced again once he's fit again. These kind of injuries have never helped to build a good system ....

Dembele should be focused in his game while he is going to be substituted.
He has all the skills and maybe this is his opportunity to get a place on the first line up if he will really prove the reason why Barcelona signed him.
Fati had a great performance so far I hope this is not going to stop when he will return back...

Maybe they needed this injury to realize that they actually do use Fati, sure he is not the best player on the pitch, that is still Messi but this kid is young and provided so much at such an early age and he wasn't even bad, sometimes you use young players because you have to due to starters being injured and all, Fati is not like that, this dude was one of the best in the team.

Now that he is gone for a few months, Barcelona could finally calm down with constant changes and build something that is strict and keep playing the same thing over and over again in order to build a good system, they look lost in most of the times this season so having some stability might actually improve them a lot. Meanwhile Fati will get better and when he is healed they could implement him as well.

Really this is news that we really don't want as fans. But whatever it is I hope he gets well soon and come back to the team. Fati is a long-term project belonging to Barcelona, his very young age will allow him to recover faster than expected.
I hope Koeman can maximize the potential of other player for the next few game, I hope he still has player who suitable with Messi in the front area.

Griezman lost his confidence that is one of the most important contributor for football player performance. I don't see his confidence in the match and he missed some good chances to score more goals in the match.

Messi scored another goal from penalty kick and he looks beat the penalty nightmare.

Dembele has his good match and he is coming back.

3 wins and a single draw in spanish La liga yesterday, it's a good day. What surprised me most was Atlectico Madrid. I have marked this team as an under 3.5 playing team as I've noticed not just there defensive strategy but are often comfortable with a 1 or 2 goals edge in a match but, it seems all that is changed now with Hungarian Suarez on the team. He definitely keep doing well for himself. Naturally for a player of his age, it we would have hoped to see a decline in his game play but, his always being doing great from his time in Liverpool down to Barcelona and now in Atlectico Madrid. He's just awesome and now, Atlectico Madrid is beginning to have scirelines of over 2.5. Changes only a good player can make.

It i really shocking news for Barcelona. If Ansu Fati can't play for 1 month then maybe it won't have a big impact on the Barcelona team. In the next 1 month, Barcelona will play against Atl Madrid, Dynamo Kyve, Osasuna, Ferencvaros and Cadiz FC. These teams are not very tough teams except Atl Madrid. I hope that the Barcelona team will play well in the next matches. They are trying their best to get back on track. Hopefully in the next few matches they will be able to come in the top 3 of the points table.
