I am so sad to see Real Madrid losing the championship when they keep it on their own hands.
They are better than Barcelona during this season but they keep losing the "easy" games when they are on the top of the league table and they should get only wins. I think that they lost the championship now.

@Juggy You guys know how critical I am of Barca, even being a fan myself. And I said yesterday maybe it's even a good thing if we just keep being so bad and don't win anything. The problem is always being bad and still winning, as all the teams know this leads to long-term slumps like Man United and Chelsea.

It may be true. Really it is a bit strange! After he didn't do anything in the previous EL Classico, what for put him again on the starting lineup? It is much better to give more time for Jovic or Mariano to play. While sending Benzema to the bench to warn him. Who knows after sending him on the bench for several matches, he will play better as a pure striker.

This season we have one of the most interesting title race in recent years - both clubs are so close to each other and leader is changing so often. But at the same time I feel that both Real and Barca are lame ducks - they are vulnerable and don't show their best football as we used to see in previous years. The team is lacking goal scoring opportunities, they have a host of good talented strikers, but they are not being given enough time to play ahead of Zidane's best friend Benzema. It makes me wonder why they had to waste the money signing Jovic and Rodrygo then.

@slaman29 Barcelona performances are only going down the drain under Setien, and I won’t be surprised if they sack him at the end of the season. In my personal opinion if Barcelona do not win the La Liga or the Champions League then this season shall be considered a disappointment by the board, and the team and maybe this will finally expedite the transfer of Neymar to Barcelona.

I can't say that our performance is going down, but there is no significant improvement under Setien. But there is few aspects to justify it, like absence of Suarez. I don't see current Barca winning Champions league and title race with Real will be very tough. Obviously, in summer, some serious changes in squad will be needed. Personally, I don't want Neymar, especially because of his often injuries. Though, currently I watch Barca 6:1 PSG highlights(this game happened exactly 3 years ago), which was probably best game in Neymar career and it bring me good memories.Source:

If Setien will not win anything, I think he will be sacked. I see him more as caretaker until the end of season and I don't understand why he got such long contract.
As a Barca fan I'm torn. Of course I'm happy we won, and happy Messi added yet another goal to his tally.
But you know, with teams that desperately need to change, sometimes we need to suffer deep and proper to truly change. How do you argue when you keep winning, right?

You got it right. Barcelona were even so lucky to win that Penalty kick late in the game. It looks like Suarez's absence is really affecting their attack. The new signing doesn't seem to barca's solution as they thought.
Yeah, it was very difficult game for Barca. And absence of Suarez is serious problem for Barca which won't be solved until the end of season. Nobody expected that Braithwaite can replace him, but I don't know what to think when player from Leganes looks much better than Griezmann on the pitch.Braithwaite looked just fine on the pitch. He is already linking up good with Messi which is what makes or breaks new players at Barca since almost every single attack goes trough Messi. Actually I was quite disappointed with Real Sociedad yesterday, I expected more in the attack from them. Barca had some nice opportunities and Messi could have scored few more goals.

Few hours to go but 3-0 for Barca is too optimistic imo unless Real Sociedad screwed it badly which is not the case in their latest games.
