None of them have been tested positive for the virus so far, but it's possible for one to have contacted the virus without testing positive immediately or within the first few days, that's the essence of the isolation isolation/quarantine period until after this periods has elapsed and test still shows as negative before it can be said that one doesn't have the virus.
Real Madrid will certainly undergo a quarantine process.  As reported by the club's official website, this decision was taken after there was a Madrid basketball player who tested positive for the Corona virus.  The decision to undergo quarantine was taken in view of the entire team (football, basketball and handball), undergoing their activities in the same complex.

Los Blancos' football squad has also been confirmed not to undergo a La Liga match for the next two weeks after the league match is postponed.

I believe that football players should be tested every 14 days in order to be sure that they are not affected.
If they have been tested negative twice then this would be the case that they are not infected by coronavirus. Spain has a serious problem as 120 deaths are already reported and more than 4.200 people are infected by the virus.
Why it is restricted to only football players? There are many people around the world need test kit for screening process of the virus. Without suspected symptoms or close contacts with infected cases, there is no need to take a test.

Fundamentally, players have better health than normal people so I believe most of them will only have mild symptoms and will recover well after all. Only people have contacts with infected players have to be careful with their health condition progress after infected.

By the way, the quarantine test results are negative for Real Madrid players?

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Is there any official confirmation of this news?
It's been confirmed by La Liga and the president of the Spanish Football Federation: https://www.marca.com/futbol/primera-division/2020/03/12/5e6a1100ca474112418b45d4.html

So sad right now  Cry But it's for the best. Well, another league down and many more games that i won't get to add my weekly slip bets.
Read that news sadly today and heard rumors that UEFA Champions League and Europa League will be postponed also or even cancelled.
I don't know about other leagues but expect the French one will be next or maybe EPL...
Real Madrid is in quarantine BTW

@tomahawk9 the decision to shut down La Liga for two weeks absolutely makes sense, as they have prioritised the safety of their fans and the players and hopefully things will get sorted out there soon. @snipie yes Real Madrid players are in quarantine, and I’m praying for them to test negative for this virus.

Real Madrid's footballers have been forced to self-isolate after a member of the club's basketball team, who they share a training ground with, tested positive for the virus.

That's the right reason maybe the other leagues are just as strong as they want their fans not to be affected equally so that this delay will be even longer if conditions are getting worse in various European countries.

By the way, the quarantine test results are negative for Real Madrid players?

I always pray for all those affected in Covid-19.

I hope that the epidemics in the Europe will hit its peak next 2 or 4 weeks, then we will have better condition.
Better to hope that the peak is happening right now. If things continue like that, after 2 weeks the number will be somewhere between 50k-100k in every country (Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, UK...) and maybe a million at least in Europe. If the peak will be happens after 2-4 weeks, i don't want to imagine the number of contamination nor the death ratio!

Football matches with thousands of fans attend in stadiums each match are perfect environment for the contagious virus spread out. The suspend of La Liga is good for all of us, for the league, for all fans, for Spain, for the Europe and for the world, overally.

Grin This does not mean that losing Real last night will make Barcelona win the title this season, And I think the LIGA will be decided in its last session for this season, so the excitement will increase. It seems that Barcelona and Real are not at their best this season!!!

Barcelona has one more derby in the La Liga schedule against Atletico Madrid.
Real Madrid has easier fixtures but it seems that the team is more unstable when playing with "less strong" teams. I think that they have lost their chance to win the title. Barcelona has more possibilities to win the title even with one more derby on their schedule.

But then Real give us a lifeline by losing!
We've been Barcelona's life support throughout the whole season, it's been so infuriating LOL

I think that remaining schedule is easier a bit for Real. On the other hand, Real often this season take points from rich ones and giving it to poor.
Both teams have been so inconsistent this season that I can toally see Barca losing to bottom-of-the-league Mallorca next weekend and Real losing to another team fighting in the relagation zone like Eibar. But then the Matchweek starts and both Barca and Real win by a 5 goal margin :/ I hate this feeling of uncertainty  Roll Eyes

Slava Ukraini!
@AakZaki, there is not many games left, but both Barca and Real still will face enough dangerous opponents where they may drop points.
Most difficult games for Barca will be against Sevilla, Athletic, Atletico and Villarreal.
For Real - Valencia, Sociedad, Getafe, Athletic and Villarreal.

I seriously doubt there is something the head coach of Real Madrid doesn't know that you guys might know. On top of that this dude is Zidane, one of the best players of his era and probably all time, he was always a smart dude and he is doing this manager thing very very well as well.

He must know something we don't and I know it is a sad affair that they lost to bet is type of team but that doesn't change the fact that they are still in second position with just 2 points behind and also beat Barca on el classico as well, so they are not really doing all that bad neither. I personally think Madrid and Barcelona is on a transition period right now and will probably unbelievably amazing in few years again when they build their teams to a higher level with new generation.

~snip~ Now barcelona is in first place and probably will not leave this place for some time or maybe even become a champion
LaLiga Only 11 matches left, I think it's too early to say that Barcelona will win at the end of the season.  Given the remaining matches Barcelona will run Home matches five times and Away six times.

Whereas Real Madrid will run Home matches six times and Away five times.

The Following Is The Schedule Of The Two Clubs:
Mallorca vs Barcelona
Barcelona vs Leganes
Sevilla vs Barcelona
Barcelona vs Athletic
Celta vs Barcelona
Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid
Villareal vs Barcelona
Barcelona vs Espanyol
Valladolid vs Barcelona
Barcelona vs Osasuna
Alaves vs Barcelona

Real Madrid vs SD Eibar
Real Madrid vs Valencia
Real Sociedad vs Real Madrid
Real Madrid vs Mallorca
Espanyol vs Real Madrid
Real Madrid vs Getafe
Athletic vs Real Madrid
Real Madrid vs Alaves
Granada vs Real Madrid
Real Madrid vs Villareal
Leganes vs Real Madrid

I honestly imagined Barcelona getting back eventually because it was a close difference and it was just one game mishap and the title run would have switched again (Like it happend now) but wasn't expecting it to be this quick and wasn't expecting it to be to Real Betis. However considering we are talking about Real Madrid, who would have realistically beat them and would be normal and expected? Maybe barcelona but that game is gone so there is really no other team that can beat Madrid and would have been "expected" they are expected to win against every single team but Barcelona if you ask me so the loss coming from Betis is not really that weird than any other team.

I have to admit it was a disappointing performance from Madrid.
Like i have always reiterated, Madrid has been inconsistent and that has been their own undoing.

It remains to be seen, if they can turn around their champions league tie against City at the etihad
It is hard to understand Real Madrid performance for real! Sometimes winning VS big teams while losing VS weaker teams...
Now they missed the first rank with 2 points from Barcelona and if we add the fact that the next couple games are harder for Real Madrid than Barca then returning to the first spot in March is not obvious, unless Barca screwed it badly!
