what was asic miners starting price?

Something like 0.65/share, I think.
That was when it was introduced to the pass-throughs. It was 0.1btc/share at its IPO.

Ah, didn't know that - thanks!

In January 2013 BTC prices..you do the math.

And if shareholders do have some sort of vote, 4m shares = successful IPO but you can then issue up to 6m more shares without shareholder input?

stop asking such questions they will troll you lol

Has labcoin posted any screenshots of anything besides the one image in the OP?  How can we be sure any of the chips / orders actually exist?

Oh, so the people who sold at 4.95 right now are silly?
AM is struggling right now with hashrate distribution, power issues, etc.  Their share price is consistently dropping.  Sell now.
FC is literally becoming the victim of his own success.
The growing stage of AM is long over.  Growth needs to increase faster than the network hashrate to actually grow value, and I don't see how AM could possibly do that anymore, and it is very obvious they haven't been lately.  Investing in a good start-up right now is the only smart way to invest right now in Bitcoin securities.

Yes everyone move a majority of your equity to speculative stocks.... it is the only smart move.... suggesting this to people is pretty much the same as telling them to choose penny stocks over a well established company with a proven track record

Do you think that FC is twiddling his thumbs just not doing anything? hes more than likely working extremely hard in order to advance his company,

perhaps to someone who needs to make a bigger risk heavy play in order to build a bankroll this is a mediocre idea however a majority of the shares are held privately off the exchanges, maybe some people who have no money will listen but this is perhaps the worst advice you can give to anyone

Whose to say that some people dont already hold large positions in a majority of the mining companies out there? at least the ones positioned for the highest success, its also funny that you go to say that AM is long over considering that the valuation of this company far exceeds anything of its competition and also offers a high yield dividend,

are those who sold off at 4.9 silly? No? this is a rhetorical question, what is silly is you advising people to move their equity to speculative stocks instead of staying with someone who has a proven history of underselling and over delivering

edit:changed good to mediocre cause its not smart at all to do what you advised

jeez, the "speculators" are sounding crazy. AM is PROVEN, has the STRONGEST reputation at the moment and well into the future, and as long as they maintain market share in MID-LONG run their price is not overvalued. all these newbs

The messed up part is you can barley sell your AM shares, the volume is brutal. So all those AM "millionaires" can't even sell out if they wanted too, the only way to possibly have done would be to liquidate 100 shares a day slowly for the last 3 months. Of course you can sell, if you have a small amount of shares.

You know that AM has 400K shares in total and 200K are in private hands only?

Ok the volume is still brutal, if you need to sell anything of value.

AM will be trading around or below 3.00BTC by middle of next week, it will be as a result of both Labcoin and ActiveMiner releasing progress updates as planned over the next 7 days.

Yea so selling my 40k shares at 0.00145 was a smart move. Wink  Sad

If there is any stock on BTCT right now that you should hold long-term, it's this one.I would even be hesitant to throw my money into asicminer right now. Labcoin just makes sense.  Labcoin is the only one who takes the win for earliest deployment date, most aggressive development and carries the most potential to increase in value from a start-up.
A company like ASICMINER is striving to maintain value, Activemining is great but is still going to take awhile with its 28nm development, and icedrill has an ask wall that's bigger than China's (good luck making any short/medium term gains on that one).

If anyone has shares in ASICMINER,  I would selling them off. Labcoin is the baby, perfectly positioned to grow into a solid competitor of AM.  Don't invest in the old senile dinosaur struggling to keep its own mass ... invest in the start-up with 100x growth potential.
