Do we need to have a common language around the world?
I think we already have one, English language. An international language.. If we dont have one, the world of business, trade and investment will not be possible. Also, it wont open the world of tourism around the globe. A common language is needed and necessary. 
Language is one thing, but humans are extremely diverse, in one country there can be hundreds of cultures and sometime completely unalike.
That is why we need a language where we can all talk, otherwise we will be like dogs and cats when we are talking, or like deaf and dumb, just pointing on something so we could agree or disagree.
Just take a look at this forum, lots of locals but we could understand each other in the main board because we are all talking in English. If you don't do the same, no one can understand you.

For me the language is very important to us, because if you think, when the language is not in the world, we will not understand each other, but there are a lot a language here in world that we will not understand, so that we must learn the main language that is english.Do we need to have a common language around the world?
yes of course.english is the center language of all the country.we need to learn english words for wherever country we go.we need to learn this to understand each other.

Yes we need to have a common language around the globe in order to connect internationally. We need this in order to understand each other and also for the processing of imports and exports, in order to do the deals.

yes of course.that is the way to know each other ,to know their tradition and especially to understand each other.English langauage is the number one we can use wherever country we go.So studying is important to learn english words so that we can speak propey. 
I think it is not good because the world is unfair. In the year 18th hundred in the Philippines that colonized by spain. The Hero was named Rizal wrote a spanish book about love story who awake the heart of the Pilipino. The book was didnt notice by spanish, they thought that it is only non sense. Then, Pilipino citizen do a plan to fight using their own language that cannot understand by spanish.
Meh, forcing a single universal language isn't exactly easy, nor would it be effective. Teaching an old dog new tricks is pretty hard.

Indeed a lot of way even a numb can express whar they wanr by sign language but a lot of us making English language us a measurement of intelligence if your grammar is wrong they mocked you
Language is a set of symbols being used mainly for communication. The symbols may be spoken or written. Language is an aspect of human behavior. In written form it is a long-term record of knowledge from one generation to the next while in spoken form it is a means of communication. Language is the key aspect of human intelligence.

I really think that it would be better to have a common language because sometimes problem exists because of miscommunication. I really think miscommunication can be avoided if we all have a common language. It would be easier for us to understand other people.

Language is what binds us together. For us to be able to stand for our plans firmly, we must have one common language for us to be able to understand and communicate with each other. Language will keep us together. However, we already have English language that let's us understand things from the people with foreign language. It builds a good communication relationships.
