each nation has its own language. It is unique and reflects the world outlook of the people. if we introduce one language for all, the uniqueness of whole cultures will disappear

A common language would have been ideal for us all. But since it's not possible to understand every tongue, technology is the only way to go. With improved language translating devices, we technology will eradicate the need for a common language in the world.

Do we need to have a common language around the world?
There are two very common languages used in every country and these are the verbal, which is the english language and the non-verbal which is body language. Now most people in various country use the english language as a means of communicating with other people in different countries this is because it largely influenced countries from its political and economic hegemony. Body language is also considered our universal language as it unravels gestures of our emotions, how we feel about something, and to let other people understand what we want in general.

Just until now, every try was a failure.
But enghlis is the new esperanto

Nobody didn't use Esperanto like common language. Before English was French and Latin but only for West World. English really first global language. But if all people will start use it as native they lose their cultural identity.

The Indonesian language is spoken by around 200 million people as a first or second language in Indonesia. Indonesian is an Austronesian language which is very similar to the Malay language spoken in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. The Indonesian language is also considered a working language in East Timor.

no, I think the human will be more beautiful with the diversity of languages used around the world. god created us in diversity, so that we can appreciate the significance of a difference.

Yes I agree.
Anyone who is familiar with Orwells conceot of the fictional language "Newspeak" will understand that one single language would be very very detrimental to the human mind.

One more language is not necessary, because there is already a common language, this is English.
Nowadays, the line between languages is blurring, as too many words borrowed.
But I think it's very important to preserve the socio-cultural characteristics of each nation, to develop one's own language and to have a good command of the language

It is difficult to answer this question. I guess opinions on that score will be 50: 50. I personally favor, but only it is difficult to imagine what will be this language.

Do we need to have a common language around the world?

There have been attempts to create an international language for the whole world - such an example is Esperanto. I think the idea is good, but there is too much cultural diversity in the world.

Yes, we do, but it's almost impossible. Even English in diffrent countries is different. Try to understand English in Sri Lanka... It's far more simplified!
