In which case it would make far more sense to buy LTC than to buy mining gear... $16 yesterday, $22 today - quick 130%+ ROI with no preorder risk or any such hassle.

I'm just banking on it to not drop lower than $4 and on Bitmain to not kill it in the next 3 months. Anything above that would be a bonus.

ROI will not stay like that for 47 days, it will likely decline and the L3+ on Hashnest is far more expensive than the July batch. So it's not that simple.

Having said that, I bought from Hashnest as I hate preorders and I think I can make the ~$600 price difference in those 3 months. Beyond that - anyone's guess.

Hashnest maintenance cost equates to ~ $0.07 per kWh.

Couple reasons...
Hashnest just went on sale the other day, people had already purchased these before that.
Not everyone's electricity is more expensive than theirs
If you don't physically have the miner, you don't own the miner
Having a physical product will allow you to sell it eventually, you have to pay extra to have the unit shipped to you from Hashnest

I am sure there are some others that aren't coming to my mind right now.

For no drama I use www.litecoinpool.org they are a FREE pool...NO fee..and payout at 103%
.never goes down...don't even have backup pool set on my knc titans..been there for years

if nothing else use their calculator www.litecoinpool.org/calc..it does include the 103%
payout thou fyi.
