Currently it is very difficult to find leaders who are just and wise, those who have occupied their respective positions are often negligent in taking care of development and eradicating poverty, they only collect money for personal needs and laws that do not comply with the law, so that the economy society is getting worse and employment opportunities are getting more difficult, and this is not only in Africa but almost the whole world has experienced something like this, so now we must be able to be independent in developing our respective careers and not be completely dependent on the government.
I don't think this happens all over the world except only in a few countries in the world like in the example you said (Africa). However, we ourselves must also not forget what is happening in our own country so that this can also be a quite special reflection when we see other countries in decline or more advanced in terms of their economy. Because if officials and leaders in a country are still very fond of committing corruption, it will always be difficult to hope for economic development and social welfare.
In my opinion, this happens more in third world countries and it may also be the reason why these countries have much weaker economies than the rest of the world. Certainly, corruption cannot be completely eliminated because it is human nature, so wherever there are people, there will certainly be greed. But in developed countries, they have better and stricter management, so corruption will be limited to the maximum extent. Meanwhile, in poorer countries, corruption becomes easier because all the leaders collude together to commit corruption.
In developed countries, leaders will pay more attention to people's lives because their existence will be determined by people's support. If they disappoint the people, the people will elect someone else to replace them and they will lose power. Meanwhile, in third world countries like Africa, much of politics has been manipulated and the people have no voice.
