For a leader there are quite a lot of responsibilities, duties and functions, and indeed there are no people. which is perfect for being able to do all of that, but all of that can still be minimized if a leader has leadership knowledge, I think that's the only key, especially for building a country, that's quite important.

It happened to the Ottoman Empire as well. The Ottomans were doing great but then they got crushed under their own weight just like the Roman and Byzantine Empire. Meaning, they got too big to be ruled and one or two stupid rulers were enough to lose everything that their smart predecessors worked so hard for decades or even centuries.

There are lots of other examples in the history. Strong and smart leaders bring prosperity. Stupid and demented fools bring nothing but misery.

The Messiah concept is something I personally dont like. I prefer to run with what I find useful and try to use the situation to my utmost advantage. Leaders will come and go but we have to continue chasing our long term goals. There are economies where things are good and where things are bad. But people are still working and living lives because they have learnt to adapt.

A certain leader might support crypto while another might not. You just have to be patient and continue until the leader is defeated by the next candidate.
