BACKGROUND - The 10 LTC coins are part of a second batch of coins created in 2013. 10 LTC coins will start with a VANITY address prefix of "LTCX" and 5 LTC coins with start with "LTC5".

For this auction there is the option to not fund the coin prior to shipping or to pre-fund before being shipped. Should the winner choose not to pre-fund the coins all holograms will be marked "BUYER FUNDED" with a laser. This is an all or nothing type option. Either fund them all prior or not.

I only did scans/pdfs of coins that were specifically asked to have the chain of custody setup for them by the original buyer. If they were not requested by the seller of the coins you bought then it doesn't exist.

It would make little sense for me to try to do an ad-hoc chain of custody assuming the original buyer never got one from me. The chain of custody would be broken by this point anyway.

In short: Anyone who buys coins from me who wishes to have a chain of custody pdf signed by me I will do it for them but it has to be requested before I ship the coins otherwise the chain of custody would already be broken.

Can you offer the same kind of chain of custody with PGP as Mike does with Casascius coins? I just bought a few of the early LTC error sets and it would be nice to have a chain of custody to go with them.

The moment I saw it, I face-palmed. Thankfully it is just the one coin but yeah the seller made quite the noob mistake.  A replacement is on its way, then I'll ship it back.

I would ask for a refund and send it back. I wouldn't want to try and peel that tape off.

Yeah that will very likely mess up the hologram when attempting to peel the tape off.

Honestly I've never tried doing that nor had an urge to try it.
