Roma is giving De Rossi a second chance. It is nice to see that decision because he didn't have a good amount of time to make this team much more competitive. There has been some progress in Roma's offense side since he took the job though.

This team always needed to play more offensive and this is what De Rossi is doing now. He is getting rid of boring Mourinho tactics. This is promising for next season. However there is still a need of making some improvements by new transfers. Roma isn't very rich these days so they can't allocate a huge transfer budget. De Rossi will need to manage it really carefully. I hope they keep their best players at the team this summer.  Smiley

He deserves it honestly. I'm happy for him, the club made the right decision to sack Jose Mourinho and apoint him. Though at the very beginning, I never classified him as a good replacement for Jose Mourinho until I saw the improvements from what he's got and that of Jose Mourinho.

He is also a player now turned coach who knows in and out of this club. He knows the loopholes lacking and how to patch them up. Hopefully, he gets the backing they never gave Jose Mourinho.

They won't be making long term plans with Romelu Lukaku, sujce he is a target for Napoli. He should make a move immediately after the European Competition.
People see the take over from Jose Mourinho otherwise anyways. But what I know, he deserves it and has took the club forward better. Let's see what Impact Daniel De Rossi can get net season.

But one thing that De Rossi needs to do is make it permanent Romelu Lukaku who played an important role for Roma last season who scored a lot of goals for Roma.

the point is exactly this, this player was decisive for Roma last season
losing him means reviewing everything and above all looking for a replacement
I don`t know how Roma is moving, but Napoli has thrown their cards on the table with the obvious intention of taking him

Indeed, Roma should give De Rossi a second chance to show that his care can make Roma even better. because it's not surprising that the new coach hasn't been able to make his team better because maybe their adaptation time takes quite a long time. Also, Roma should be patient a little longer, because it's rare for a team to get a new coach and then they can immediately become a strong team with excellent performance. Of course, to have better performance it takes a certain amount of time, besides that it also depends on the coach. because there are trainers who adapt quickly and there are also those who need quite a long time.

It is also an obstacle that there is no recruitment of better players, because it is difficult for coaches to play with the minimum players. Just know that all coaches definitely have their own tastes, so if they don't play the way they want, it might be difficult because it seems like they have to be the best.

I will tell you that I too, as a long-time Juventus fan, hope so, I really hope that he manages to strengthen the team and play good games
Unfortunately these two years, without cups, have been really tough but lets hope that the bad times are now behind us and are only the past.
Good luck Juventus
Last time Juventus managed to bring home the Serie A trophy was in the 2019/20 season and that time was the last time we saw how Juventus became the strongest with extraordinary performance because they managed to prevail over the fierce competition with Inter Milan.
After that there was no Serie A title for Juventus and they experienced significant decline in performance until in the last two season they had problems that ended in fines and points deductions.
But now we see how Juventus is starting to get in the right direction, slowly they are showing quite significant development and there are opportunities in the future as strong team and has great potential to win the Scudetto.
For the 2024/25 season, it may still be difficult for Juventus if they have to win the Scudetto, but in the next two season, if they are really able to maintain consistent and stable performance then we will see them lift the trophy again.
Currently, Juventus is still the best and most successful in the Serie A competition with the most titles, this proves that they are still at the top as the team that dominates Serie A.

Glad to hear that the coach is still coaching Roma for next season because since Roma changed hands from Jose Mourinho the club has experienced quite good improvements and giving De Rossi the opportunity to coach the club longer is a very good decision. We have to see how De Rossi manages the Roma club from because at the start of the season he coached Roma only towards the end of the season so Roma couldn't feel his overall development.

De Rossi has a way so that Roma can play more competitively, he abandon the tactics that Mourinho left behind the club really needs to change strategy not only in terms of tactics but also player changes but Roma doesn't have a good financial system to recruit many players but for me De Rossi he just needs to hone his players' skills solidly like the system used by Xabi Alonso so he doesn't need to spend a lot of money because last season's Roma players also had good performances. But one thing that De Rossi needs to do is make it permanent Romelu Lukaku who played an important role for Roma last season who scored a lot of goals for Roma.

I hope they will be able to sign young players who will eventually become great players in the future. At this time when it is actually hard to know if the player you are buying is actually going to perform well or not, doesn?t matter how much money you spend, it is very important for every club to actually concentrate on bringing in young players. That is also going to be good for the financials of the club. Because if the player is performing well, they can sell him for a good amount of money in the future. But right now I think the most important thing for them is to actually be able to perform well and look for young players who will be useful for the team. Motta probably knows what he?s doing. Juventus also does not have any other options other than trusting him anyway though.

I don`t understand the management of Roma, changing coaches often is not only expensive but also destabilizing for the team, he hasn`t played many games yet, I don`t see the reason to change
I`m not a fan of DeRossi but how does he still shape the team according to his tactical scheme? I honestly don`t understand

Of course, they should give him "a second chance". They have just appointed him as the coach of Roma. So it will be very unfair to him if they do not keep him as the coach. Also, remember that they have appointed him in the middle of the season. So just giving someone the type of half a season is just not enough for a coach to actually prove what he is capable of. I don’t think they are going to give him a lot of money to spend. So at least give him the time that he needs. It is already hard in this day and age without having good enough money to spend.

They will obviously have to keep the players that are performing well for them. Because as I said they are probably not going to spend a lot of money. Which means they are not capable of bringing in very good players. So they will have to keep the players that they have right now.

exactly, we need to follow their movements in the summer transfer window
only then will we be able to understand many things: in any case Thiago Motta is already at work, he is working and we hope that his commitment will equate to a good season for us Juventus fans

Juventus is well known for making transfers for young players during World Cup or Euro and I think that will be their goal this summer , to wait for both Euro 2024 and Copa America to end and then immediately try to snatch the best young players who performed great and sign them to Juventus. Also , Thiago Motta knows how to study the young talents and I'm sure he already has someone on his paper to be signed by Juventus.

I’m not sure if Roma is willing to let go of Tammy Abraham. You know, he is an important player for Roma. Sure he missed almost the whole season because of an injury. But he played eight matches and he started two of them. He was able to score one goal. For some reason, I think Roma is not going to be happy with the money they will be offering for Tammy Abraham. so they might not sell him. But the reality is Roma needs someone who would be able to score more goals. Which Tammy Abraham is not being able to deliver right now. So it is not going to be absolutely surprising if Roma actually lets him go if they get a good price for him. But after a season in which he did not play at all, price is not going to be that high.

Maybe that's from your point of view but for AS Roma it's different if Roma can get a better one then it's not likely that Roma will sell him, plus after the injury he experienced, Roma's performance could decrease if they only rely on one player, while there are so many important players who might be able to replace his role in forming an attack, In fact, this is an opportunity for Roma to look for alternatives in finding a replacement for Tammy Abraham who is always injured and that could interfere with his career if he continues to be a reserve player, of course it would be an advantage for both of them if Roma releases him to the Premier League club.

People don't want to trust Motta easily already and I understand that. He has had a great journey with Bologna. Helping this team reach the Champions League is really admirable work. Bologna doesn't have one of the best squads in the Serie A normally you know.  Smiley  This must have attracted Juventus chairman's attention.

Motta is Italian also which is another attracting factor for Italian teams. But there is another thing to notice lately, a trend of signing young managers.  Smiley  Xabi Alonso has started this era and I wonder how it will end up later...

Let just follow the update on Juventus activities in this summer transfer window, there will be some efforts made in bringing in great players, but I sure there are several names that they have targeted.
But Juventus must be faster because the competition in the race to purchase or transfer players will be very intense, they will probably fight in price bids for the players they want.

Thiago motta must work harder to overhaul juventus into the squad he wants, and return juventus to a respected club next season and participate in the hunt for domestic league champions, seeing the poor results experienced by juventus lately, then juventus must buy more good players in the summer transfer market this time. I will be very curious whether there will be a big surprise that will be shown by Juventus next season under the new coaching chair, I hope that Juventus will return to their top performance.

I think Roma will part ways with some players during this summer break and Abraham should be one of them because like you said above , he missed a lot of last season and that might affect both the club and the player status. It's also EURO where new stars will emerge so maybe Roma will want to transfers some fresh young players after the tournament right ?

Well yea , price will not be great but to keep him just a substitute for next season it's also not indicated because their bench is still strong without him.

Keeping a player in the squad and giving him salary every week is definitely not ideal for any club. for Giallorossi, they will have to look for every opportunity to improve the squad. That's why I said they would have to try to sell the players like Lukaku, Abraham, from such types of players Giallorossi does not find anything useful right now but draining the money of the club. It does look like this is going to make Roma lose a lot of money. Because they will not be able to sell the players at the price they want to sell them for. But it is what it is now. Keeping them is going to make the club lose more money in the long run. If I talk about the player's side it is better to let the player go earlier. Maybe he will also be able to find his form in another club as well.

One of the players to part ways might be Lukaku also by the way. Because his loan is about to expire by June 30. If they can't extend his loan or sign him permanently, losing Abraham additionally would cause them more trouble in the attacking area.

In that case they had better sell Abraham for as high amount as possible to make it worth it.  Smiley  Because Roma isn't a rich team now. They are in huge debt so they can't spend too much money on transfers. De Rossi is keeping his job after a new contract. But he will need to have a strong squad to do better next season. Roma should act carefully this summer.

I'm not saying it is definitely Lukaku & Abraham, it does not matter who the player is.
Roma will have to find unnecessary players and sell them for the most amount of money that they can.
Yes, De Rossi must be very careful in making these decisions.

Yes I know, also thanks to careful external observers like Michael Platini who at the time highly recommended Zinedine Zidane. A player that I miss a lot, I miss a lot that Juventus, very strong that was scary even in Europe. Now we are in a very bad state.

I would also try to keep him. He is still beneficial for Roma. They need to keep their attacking side strong one way or another. De Rossi likes attacking football so he needs productive players for that in the area.  Smiley

Very easy, just put your hand in your (team) wallet, open it and use real money to take it permanently and that`s it.
If they start thinking, think here think there maybe someone else who needs it will buy it first. There are many who need a real striker.

Chelsea's demands to sell Lukaku are quite high, unfortunately Chelsea invested too much in Lukaku when they bought him from Inter, an investment that later turned out to be a flop and we all know why. So most likely the roads between Roma and Lukaku will part at the end of this month. However, it is rumoured that Antonio Conte's Napoli are interested in taking Romelu

Chelsea definitely wants to get rid of him as soon as possible. Because he has been no use for them for years. Chelsea still didn't learn their lesson and signed him back from Inter for 100+ million euros. It was just insane you know.  Sad

Lukaku likes it better in the Serie A. He doesn't care about which team he is playing for here. His efforts at Roma and Inter both have been great. Conte is interested yeah and they like each other. Maybe he might sign for Napoli.

Quote
If I were a Roma manager and wanted to try to win something important I would definitely keep Romelu Lukaku, Abraham is very discontinuous and doesn't perform as well as the Belgian. Then of course the important changes would have to be made in midfield, which in my opinion, looking at the names of Roma's players, is the weakest department.

I would also try to keep him. He is still beneficial for Roma. They need to keep their attacking side strong one way or another. De Rossi likes attacking football so he needs productive players for that in the area.  Smiley

They have to start the game well at the start of the season so they can be at the top of the standings to solidify their confidence and be consistent until the end of the season, although Thiago Motta also needs time to be able to adapt to using the players with the strategy and tactics he has because it's not that easy for the players. and coaches can adapt quickly because they also need an approach to get to know each other's characters so that Thiago Motta can rotate players and maintain consistency until the vision and mission ends next season. I am always waiting for news updates about Juventus which players they will recruit to fill the main squad next season.  Grin

now I say it, even if I know I will regret it
but in fact apart from Inter Milan I dont see any team doing well
Exactly Bologna who is excited and has spent very little, the others instead have spent money without receiving anything

obviously I await with curiosity the possible rebirth of Napoli by Antonio Conte, who knows if it will happen

Juventus at this time must have prepared several names for them to buy and bring them into the club. We all know that Juventus' performance this season has not been optimal, especially in its attack line, it has lost badly to its strong competitors Inter Milan and Milan and has had the fewest goals among other clubs that are in the top 4, this means that Juventus has to recruit several good players to improve their performance next season so that they can compete strongly with Inter Milan and Milan in the league title race. If Juventus doesn't do a lot of that then it will be left behind in the title race. .

Thiago Motta will certainly prepare several names for management to allow him to buy these players. I think there are several Bologna players who this coach is targeting to bring to Juventus. I think this is a good idea considering that there are several big clubs also targeting several Bologna players because this club's performance is quite impressive this season, there will definitely be a lot of competition between clubs in the hunt for players. Juventus don't miss this opportunity or they will have difficulty competing in the Champions League and in Serie A next season.

Yes, I am also convinced that it will bring some names
the problem that arises, how much will be granted compared to how much will be requested, Juventus does not seem to have great economic liquidity at the moment, just some income from the Champions League next year can save it from a complex impasse.
