My take is that, as per our country, Bitcoins are not illegal because there is no law saying it is illegal. Nor is there any law saying any transactions involving Bitcoins are illegal. Hence, it is legal to us for all intents and purposes.

As regards your second question, I do not think that taxing Bitcoins is the necessary effect of it being a legal tender because just like any currency that is backed up by central banks, you do not tax the money per se but the income you derive from it. To put emphasis, it is the income that you tax and not the currency.

Bitcoin has not be expressly written as illegal anywhere around the world. Most of the countries dont even have any law governing it. No taxes too. But my country(India) is planning to bring its very own crypto currency which might even be regulated by government. So I dont think they are quite much against the bitcoin technology.

I first feel the necessity to inform you that every country has its own laws and whether or not bitcoin is illegal in your country depends on that laws. Even if bitcoin is illegal in your country, please do not consider it as a serious thing like drugs because in some countries you can get executed if catched with a certain amount of it, while I have never heard that the possible illegal use of bitcoin could lead to an execution?

In my country, there is no clear regulation of bitcoin status, legal or illegal?.
The government in my country doesn`t forbid its citizens to have bitcoins, they just assert "if any problem with bitcoin, its own consequence". However, if any bitcoin adopters they will take firm action in accordance with applicable law.

the legality of bitcoin differs in every country because of their governmental factors that have a role to legality, and of course they have certain reasons about bitcoin legalization, although while bitcoin transactions in my country are still illegal but have no restrictions on their use, they are still given the freedom to do various transactions with using bitcoin.

Over the top of country bitcoin is legal. Some small businesses and merchants bitcoin are still accepted.
However, other countries bitcoin is illegal. They think there's a risk that it could be used to fund crime or illicit terrorist activity.
another reason is that it can be a route to circumvent capital controls. .

Bitcoin seems legal, but altcoins can't say. There is more to it.
Altcoins are also legal if there are no laws on certain place where you are living. Bitcoin is real legal and the people that are taking the advantage of it's anonymity are the ones who are using it for their illegal activities and that's why some other countries government treats it as an illegal currency. And for raymart0720's question about why we are eager to earn more bitcoin is because the price is increasing and we don't want to miss that moment earning great profit.

It's wrong to blame the currency in illegal activities. The car can also be a murder weapon but we know that the car is not to blame. All the fault lies on the driver. If a person breaks the law he does it with the use of bitcoin and Fiat at the same time. Nobody proposes to ban the Fiat. Need not to blame bitcoin. we need to demand from law enforcement agencies to perform well their work.
Absolutely, but we all know how the government is looking to tarnish Bitcoin's reputation in an attempt to discourage usage by regular people. It's clear that governments understand that Bitcoin poses a threat to their economy.

But at the same time, I am quite sure that they also realize that there isn't a convenient way of getting rid of Bitcoin. Direct result of this form of weakness is that governments come up with all kinds of regulations.

I don't see regulations as a bad thing, because at the end of the day, we can't just expect governments to sit back and look at how Bitcoin is taking over. I see it as a mid-way solution to somewhat "please" all parties.

legal or illegal, the law depends on the government. of course, the hopes of all of us who already use bitcoin, with all its advantages, are eager for bitcoin to be legal in all countries, meaning it is acceptable worldwide. however, most governments consider bitcoin dangerous and high risk, easy to serve as a crime such as drug trafficking, illegal weapons, etc. whereas, the advantage of using bitcoin is greater than that.

I agree, but let's admit, we know that there are lot of people using bitcoin in illegal way. That is why they are earning big amount of bitcoins.
However, most of us are using bitcoin in a legal way. Like me, I just earn it and withdraw it. Sometimes I buy altcoins. There is no difference if bitcoin will be illegal or legal in our countries. We can still use it.
Correct that some people used bitcoin to scam people that is why the image of this currency will be getting worst to other people who did not know what is the real bitcoin. Bitcoin is legal and never been illegal because there is no illegal currency even it is centralized or decentralize currency but there are only few countries banned bitcoin because they seen bitcoin as threat in their financial institution.

It depends on how you used it because bitcoin is just an asset just like a fiat it really doesn't have a value if no one really don't use it. Well, if I will be the one to choose if what is the option I'll prefer to used it in legal way so that it doesn't have a hassle because if it will be used in illegal way it will lead to just more complications. I don't have a problem if it will be taxed if it becomes legal because if the tax also be used in progress of country or on the regulation of bitcoin then  that would be a good one.
I am against the fact that people have to pay tax to the state for the use of cryptocurrencies. The state has done nothing for the development of this industry. Moreover, they only hinder its development. I would not mind instead of taxes to make a contribution of any startup is essential for all of humanity but I have to be sure that the money will not be stolen. Taxes should be voluntary. For example why should I Finance the war if the government itself decided to start it?

Everyone is talking about what bitcoin is used for illegal arms trafficking. Can you specifically show an example of what someone who bought bitcoins for guns? This is fake which is distributed by the government to discriminate against bitcoin. Governments are afraid of losing power over the people. That's the whole reason.
