Your thinking is very right. The coins with relatively small price of less than $1 or even less than $0.01 are the most profitable ones. They are the ones that easily grow up to $1 with high percentage increase in price.

When cheap prices are a good time to buy more coins that you think will benefit or skyrocket again. The small price of a token does not mean that this token / project is bad and will not bring you profit. I will definitely buy in <$1 crypto now and in fact, the ones I have followed previously that where above 1$, it is even a big advantage now as I see it of good projects that were above $1 now below that cos of the market situation. It does make more sense that you would make more profit from the coins that you bought for the lowest price but you have to think about it, if the coin that you bought because the price was really cheap ends up not doing well then what? This is why even though it can be important to look at the price you always have to look at the kind of project you are investing in

They can surely give you nice profit, but make sure that development team is strong, project does not look like scam, check supply too.

This is the simple maths for long term holder of quality crypocurrency. The lesser the price, the higher the profit! The current crypocurrency price is creating a unique opportunity for those that do not have huge caputal but can afford these cheap prces for future profit!
Although low valued coins but this is not it was the problem for potential on crypto. do research from some of the altcoin are low value. a lot of it that has the potential and this certainly will be able to give a good thing in the long run for investment.

Maybe if they have less price and you think the project is really promising and you are a disciplined Hodler, you can assure the profit for the future long term holding. But if you are going to change your mind easily, your investment is nonsense.
Make sure you hold for a long-term because it's not easy to hold cheap coins price without we know how good their projects. A good project right now is not always a good project in the future, and you should know that. Besides that, you need to prepare for the worst thing if somehow the project fails to reach their goals in the future. And the most important is you know how much money you can afford to use to invest in the cheap coins price.

Well, before you will buy an altcoin for investment;
1. Be sure that the altcoin can be trusted.
2. You must look at their volume if that altcoin can survive for years.

That logic applies sometimes but not all the time.
I agree. That is what I have been telling ever since. Take note of cheap but valuable coins. It can save you from the coins you've lost if ever it happened. I already lost so much on Ethereum but I have some coins to cover up for the losses. Some coin appreciate over time so make sure to hodl those coins. If you can't hodl for that long, I will suggest to stay away from exchanges for now.
If you feel sure an altcoin will succeed in the future, now is the time to load up. I'm sure you'll see crazy returns when the market improves.

a big risk to buy coins based only on their value, you can buy very cheap, but you will not be able to sell it in the future, so when choosing such coins you need to know the fundamental, or you can a choice of top 10-15 coins
I agree. Not only the value where you should based to invest but also the potential of the coin. Even you buy at lower price if the coin won't grow on the market then it is useless. You have to know what kind of coin you want to invest and study it well. Do not focus on small number there is a lot of coins. Maybe you should invest on what is popular in the market.
I would prefer buying altcoins that is low price right now but on the regular price is high, because even if it does not make pump but remain in its normal price you can gain immediately good profits. Compared to buying high value coins that gives you only slight profit.
there is no trade in the market, the price is said to be profitable. but if you buy at a low price and sell it at a high price, it's only profitable.
