it's very difficult if we don't compare bitcoin with altcoin. everyone will compare that. especially for beginners who are just joining digital currencies, they will definitely compare bitcoin currencies with altcoins, that's perfectly natural. we as seniors must educate the crypto currency to beginners so they can stop comparing crypto currencies. each crypto currency has its advantages and disadvantages.
I think we cannot stop comparing such coins or other crypto. It is one way to succeed on your investment and also in gaining high profit like when you join a bounty campaign and others.
Comparing is how people choose where to invest and what is the potential of the coin to give profit. That is the way to know what is the beat among others and what is more beneficial though all of the coin has its own function and purpose why being develop and exist in the market. We are having comparison on the price though we know that bitcoin is more expensive among others even it falls on the market.
anonymous and does not carry the concept of centralization makes bitcoin difficult to accept by the official government. this applies the opposite of altcoins whose founders can factually account for. I estimate if in the end some altcoins are legalized first, then they will excel through high volumes. Bitcoin will remain the most expensive because it is exclusive, but at the same time it will lose volume and privileges in the top list of cryptocurrencies.

Everyone believes that Bitcoin is a king in the Crypto market, and everyone considers Bitcoin a target that all Altcoin must overcome. People are stupid when comparing them with Bitcoin, Bitcoin has been around for almost 10 years and what it does is very difficult to happen again.
Frankly, I also compare bitcoin with other large coins. And still every time I am convinced that its technology is more successful than the others. Therefore, I continue to focus on it.
I do compare bitcoin with other coins but only to make sure that investing in bitcoin is really still profitable. And I'm sure most people make that comparison for the same reason.
See each and every currency has its own philosophy and vision/mission statement. Bitcoin came up with the solution of faster transfer of values from one point to another, on the other hand, Ethereum is giving the solution in the way of smart contracts which is not necessary for me if I am expecting the mere transfer of values. However, every good and innovative concept is beneficial to the crypto industry as a whole.
I think people don't care too much about two coins, because they only want to make profits from one of them. Which coin can make more profits, people will choose it to invest.
We can not stop everybody compare BTC and ETH because the human always compare everything with each other as insant. However, I think we should compare both of them to find that which is the best coin in the cryptomarket. Then, investors can choose one of them to invest in, even they can invest in both of them to proof the better coin. Anyway, comparing is not bad.
if you compare cryptocurrency in the market with negative connotations, obviously this is not good to do, because basically every coin has its own advantages and functions. ethereum's advantages are not necessarily owned by bitcoin and vice versa, this is very positive, indicating that the crypto industry continues to grow at any time, not just focusing on one type of coin. In addition, comparing coins objectively such as providing input and criticism related to existing features can also be positive, the developers will be encouraged to advance and compete healthily.
I don't think it is relevant to compare Bitcoin to Ethereum or comparing any other cryptos to each other. I know its quiet tempting to compare Bitcoin to Ethereum because of their reputations in terms of their market cap and volume.But I do believe that the source of doubt in most people in the crypto community is mostly because of this comparisons made about cryptocurrencies. People who don't really know and understand the ideas and purpose of the creation of cryptocurrency will just share their ignorance to the world, which is not helping the crypto market. People sell their cryptos just because they heard that a particular coin is better than the coin they have. To add to these, I believe dumping of crypto coins is also as a result of this kinda comparisons made by people. Please let's find a way to talk about cryptos rather than comparing them to each other...... 
I'm totally agree with your opinion, i think it will be better if we're not comparing them to each other because they have different characteristic and advantages that differentiated them from one to another.

I think it's a good question that Bitcoin should not be compared to Ethereum. because I think Bitcoin's value is not the same as Ethereum. the bitcoin interval is higher than ethereum and bitcoins are more and more invested in bitcoins because they can get a lot of money when it comes to bitcoin investors. the only amount he earns in ethnoum all markets when you sell another token, it does not sell any tokens when you have no ethanol or gas payment
Although different cryptocurrencies have got different natures, sadly the price of Altcoins always follows the trend of BTC and ETH. All we care after all is just the value of each coins. So we just cannot stop that comparison.
of course there are so many people who compare all the coins in the world of cryptocurrency because of the difference in price, technology and others in the coin. comparisons are common but we should not pit the sheep and baden a coin, all of them are the same and one crypto family.

yeahi agree to you all of cryptocurrency is have their own unique characteristics and have a good project, thats why we should not compare them to each other comparison will not help bitcoin and market to get better. 
maybe they have not learned or seen again, if there is no bitcoin what ethereum is there at the moment, so it is important that they forget that every cryptocurrency, ethereum must have a pair with BTC on each trading site
It becomes commonplace for someone to compare crypto currencies with other crypto currencies and in my opinion it is not a mistake. So just let all the coins become our comparisons, so that there is one coin that is the best that we always support, because our support makes crypto coin coins stay alive.

Why is this even a problem for you if someone compares Bitcoin to altcoins or not. Everyone has a right to have a different opinion on that and has a different perspective .
absolutely right because it's the right of people to compare the prices of other bitcoins and altcoins. so the most important thing is never to drop the names of either bitcoin or other altcoins
For me bitcoin is just the same with ethereum and other cryptos. Bitcoin is just more popular compare to others. The only differences are bitcoin price is way too high compare to others and there are more affiliated companies to it. Maybe other crypto will reach what bitcoin have reached.
