So when do we actually get the bitcoins back?

I clicked 'accept' as soon as the email came through last night. Been about 24 hours.

If it's in process or whatever, that's fine. I just don't want to see this turn into another "2 more weeks" scenario.

If I accept the refund now does that mean I don't have the option of funding the prototype board? Need to know more about this board, what chip is it being designed for, asicminer gen 3??
Any details on refunding shipping costs?

I found that part interesting, but seems to be glossed.

If you accept, you get bitcoins... If you decline.. you get Huh   Everybody is going for the bitcoins!

I'm glad Steamboat has come through with the next leg of our trip.  I'll take the refund as offered, and will remove my scam tag when the coin hits my wallet.  Thanks SB.  (hows that for not too gushy?)

This morning the "NOT correct" link in the refund e-mail worked.  After reading more posts I determined that the BTC total for my order was correct @ $25 per board ("full assembly") plus $15 per board for hosting (= $40 per board total converted to BTC @ $126.61 = 0.315931 BTC per board).

I corrected the BTC address, signed the message, and submitted the form.  Expecting BTC soon. Thanks Steamboat and team!

Fully Assembled:  $133.5 *25% = $33.75
It is 25% of the $60 assembly charge it looks like, so the $35 PCB + components aren't factored into the refund. Maybe we'll get some back on those parts in the future, but I'm not counting on it.

Because you got fully assembled versus DIY kit, you do get a 100% refund of that assembly cost, which is $10 per board ($133.5-123.5).

So for those of us that did the fully assembled unit option, it comes out to $25 per board (25% of $60 + $10).

Then you get 100% refund for the shipping and the $15 setup fee for hosting if you chose hosting.

Ah thanks! I was able to reconcile to the refund amount using your math above.

Anyone pull the trigger yet and accept?

On another note, this chapter in my life is about to come to a close and I can say its been a bittersweet ending to this long long battle.  Honestly thought I wouldn't receive a penny of my initial investment back.

I think testing was free for hosting. And dont include 35$(pcb and parts) in 25% refund calculation only 60$ are for 25%.
Okay.  So I'm still not understanding the situation here.  If I take the assembly refund, does that mean SB takes my hosted miner and I have nothing more to do with it?  If that is the case, and SB has been hashing away with my units since it was assembled, how much BTC have they made and what happens to that money?
Have you got refund for the chips?
No, because my miner was supposed to be hosted.

Have you gotten the hosted miner payouts that Steamboat mentioned in is previous update? I've been really surprised that few hosted miner people have been complaining of not getting paid. I thought he set a clear payment schedule for the hosted miners.

You and me both, pal. I've received no info, payments, emails, anything about my hosted miners.

I am aware of his silence but maybe now when rsfund started he will respond. Worth try.
Yep fair enough.  I'm not even sure what address to reach him on, other than [email protected].  Any ideas?

LOL no.  AFAIK nobody with the hosted option has received any payouts or indeed any information regarding the process to receive them.
As for the suggestion to email SB, has he replied to anyone regarding anything?

I also received the refund e-mail, which didn't include what I paid for full assembly/testing and hosting.

The "Not correct" link in the e-mail won't work for me in either firefox or IE.

Same for me, I paid for full testing and hosting but this is not reflected in the email and refund amount, and the "Not correct" link doesn't work.

Also, the bitcoin address for refund in the message was incorrect (not mine).
