I think litecoin will go under 1 dollar in 2016.

Like my expectation, really nothing happened in terms of development.

stop making tard statements like this, thanks

If there is a general rise of digital coins, litecoin will see $10. Otherwise it will be staying around current level.

yes.  I don't think $10 is a long shot as it has been trending with Bitcoin.  If Bitcoin can go over 1000/coin then we might see it. Either way it is holding its own.

It would be good to see litecoin spike again to 20 dollar. But i am losing my patience this will ever happen.
Seems that litecoin is having no new things happening for them.

If Bitcoin reaches $1,000, Litecoin will be worth at least $17.

Last time when the bitcoin was $1000, litecoin reached $45. So $17 is lower than the previous peak.

The first time when bitcoin peaked, litecoin was able to profit of this increase.
I don't see this happening now, since litecoin is just a simple bitcoin clone, nothing special

Clueless!

i highly doubt that, can happen but still...

ON the other hand..I too think the odds of this are small ...say 5% or less..$40 LTC moon to BTC's 1000 usd price say....but it is POSSIBLE that if say BTC was to hit 2k a BTC someday.....at the 0.01 ratio LTC to BTC that more or less historically has been reached by LTC at least once in awhile....well that would mean $20 buck LTC say....as hard as it is to wrap my head around such...

on the other hand look at what has happened with BTC as an example below (randomly chose the month/days in July) Smiley

from this historical chart (link)

http://www.coindesk.com/price/

July 19th 2010   $    0.07

July 18th 2011   $   13.71

July 16th 2012   $     8.72

July 15th 2013   $    88.40

July 14th 2014   $   621.56

July 13th 2015   $   280.60

Jan   8th 2014    $  456.00   (now)

Again if LTC follows in such a 0.01 LTC to BTC ratio...well no issues....but I will be sad because I probably will have moved MOST of it to BTC by then (I mine) but still I think

there is a 50/50 chance of LTC going to the  moon when BTC does in my above guess however....spiking past that to 40 bucks or more in the above hope only 5% odds imho

anyway my guesses Smiley

Actually, 0.01 is the very-long-term 'fair' ratio for LTC. Granted that long-term relationships are brittle in this sector (ouch), but this one has held up and is still holding up.

If we consider the number of coin in total, the ration should be 0.25. However, litecoin is just a clone, and does not offer new features, so 0.01 might be appropriate.

From where exactly those numbers are coming from?

In my case, looking at a very-long-term chart. The range is wide, and it's predominated on the low side recently, but buying well below 0.01 offers an eventual chance to get out at above 0.01 - even if the proximate cause is as evanescent as a Chinese pump.

Yup i had a guy tell me that on iRC way back.. he claimed all mouthy like that LTC was a clone of Doge ROFL
I still have the log showing the little idiot noob mouthy me off all angry when i dissed Doge on the Cryptsy IRC channel in 2014.

So kelsey.. have my babies !

My understanding was we are talking about a completely worthless digital excrement which real value (zero) is determined by the fact that it is used by absolutely nobody in any real world economic process.

then your understanding is somewhat erroneous.

From where exactly those numbers are coming from? My understanding was we are talking about a completely worthless digital excrement which real value (zero) is determined by the fact that it is used by absolutely nobody in any real world economic process. Therefore, any arbitrary number could be pulled out from the thin air and you could say 0.00001 or 0.5 just like you said 0.01 or 0.25.

Why is relevant that how many number of those shit exist, which again used by no absolutely nobody outside of a few (in economic terms) completely irrelevant crypto currency exchanges? I thought common sense dictates that if a thing is useless and in fact used by nobody, then its value is zero and then the combined value of all existing thing should be zero as well.
I fully understand currently it is not the case as as few wankers pumping and dumping this thing on crypto currency exchanges, and then fanboys and delusional wannabe rich speculators trading it as well, but it doesn't mean you can apply a rational pricing model such as volume per price ratio to that worthless thing.
