Litecoin has a chance to reach at least $ 150 when viewed from technical analysis,
but remember that support at $ 50 can also be reached because currently bitcoin is still in the confusion zone,
just wait until the Bitcoin price can break $ 30k then buy Litecoin and hold it until after the halving.

I have never said, Litecoin would surpass Bitcoin. I have said outperfom Bitcoin. Outperform does not mean overtake.
It is just about a medium-term investment comparison.
It seems both term are the same. I even check the synonym of outperform and one of it is overtake. If you don't mean it then you better clear it before so that people won't comment negatively about your post, if you are not used to it.

Moving on, Litecoin halving is earlier than in Bitcoin so maybe yes that Litecoin will experience a nice bump in its price while Bitcoin and the rest of the crypto are still staying put but we that own them and not LTC shouldn't worry because the hype of LTC might not last long enough. We will also have our own moment. It's just that LTC holders experience it first. They deserved it because it's been a long time ever since LTC pumps.

It's worth looking into Litecoin forks that focus on privacy such as Cyberyen.   Cool

Litecoin is a great project. I used to make transactions with Litecoin and it was very fast and smooth.
Litecoin already has a good foundation to become the top coin in cryptocurrencies. I still believe that Litecoin still has a bright future.
I still have some of the Litecoins I bought from 2018-2020 and I think I still have an advantage buying them back then  Grin

I have used and invested in Litecoin before and I must say that is one of those altcoins which even though it has a proven track record and was created back then before crypto was plagued with scamming projects it is very underestimated.

Perhaps it is due to the public or much of the most greedy part of the crypto community is not interested in simple PoW alts like Litecoin or Dash anymore. Now it is about NFTs, Decentralized contracts, AI, people are always looking to anticipate on the next big thing in order to make a lot of money, instead appreciating Litecoin for what it is and what it does.

Litecoin is dead. What makes you think if litecoin will able to surpass bitcoin? I meant it has no further development anymore. Litecoin is still exist caused by bitcoin. it's done man for litecoin even in another thread many people talking about litecoin halving and it means nothing.

It will not give impact to the price of litecoin.
Did you read my comment or not?

Because I have never said, Litecoin would surpass Bitcoin. I have said outperfom Bitcoin. Outperform does not mean overtake.
It is just about a medium-term investment comparison.

Litecoin its like a little sister for Bitcoin, so we can expect if BTC its doing good LTC its going to do good also.

LTC its the way to make payments when you need to send little ammounts of the BTC network its congested.

I don think comeback is an applicable term for Litecoin, the thing is Litecoin was never lost or gone but it's never get very popular either. Litecoin is something like mediocre coin, it is exist it's fine but that's all, hoping Litecoin to catch other advanced altcoin like Ethereum or BNB is a waste, let alone Bitcoin, for Litecoin to outperform Bitcoin will need a true magic.

Litecoin has the potential to have a higher market price and is not a coin to be considered dead. It is one of the early and biggest coins in this industry. But if it is surpassing the market value of Bitcoin, I highly doubt of it. In every uptrend, Bitcoin is leading the way and other coins are just following.

As long as a coin is having volume, then that means it is still alive and there's still a possibility for its market price to go up. Its development on the other hand is the reason why its market value won't or struggling to multiply as much as others but an increase in the market value is the minimum. Check its chart and you'll see. Since it is one of the biggest, I guess its will also be able to recover on the next bullrun.
Volume was only coming from the speculators and not actual users. Since any tokens can be used as payment system and there's no reason to use litecoin anymore. It's a live caused by it's relying on bitcoin and no more. Litecoin doesn't have development progress anymore.
The owner of litecoin has been leaving from this coin since he was getting lots of money from there. Litecoin doesn't even have money for further development.
The current price of litecoin is 87$, but litecoin has become very popular a few days ago. After the dumping of bitcoin, the price of litecoin has decreased a lot. However, the price of litecoin may increase for a long time.  Some money was invested. I am in a lot of losses now. But if one day the price of litecoin increases again, my losses will be recovered.

Today Litecoin fell below $ 80 and now the price is already $ 76 because the price of Bitcoin is being dumped today,
even though Litecoin is predicted to come back because the halving is soon, so hopefully in Q3-Q4 this altcoin season can happen.

What about Litecoin forks? Could those also be on the spotlight?
Litecoin forks such as Cyberyen could result good for long term.
CY is privacy focused, so it offers something extra than just an average fork of LTC.

After all Altcoins were troubled recently, Litecoin is gaining more confidence again.

But can Litecoin outperform Bitcoin or is Litecoin dead in your opinion?
Look at Litecoin's chart and history, I don't think that it will outperform Bitcoin and even if Litecoin is gonna go through its own halving.

I am not expecting that a lot of things will happen to it. It's not dead IMO but it's not as active as before anymore. Because of that, the Litecoin in the past was more popular than today.

If it's just all about investing, you can still invest on it but you expect that it won't be explosive as bitcoin.
Litecoin is not a bad coin with a large community. You can't say it's worse now than it was before. It's just that altcoins have a bear market right now, so prices are not rising, although litecoin like bitcoin is worth twice as much as the last bottom. Litecoin will not be able to grow apart from the market, but when the bulls come in, it will definitely show good growth. I consider investing in Litecoin to be a safe investment.
The price of Litecoin may increase very soon. However, the price of all altcoins rises and falls above the Bitcoin market, so when the price of Bitcoin increases, the price of all altcoins including Litecoin will increase. However, the current price of Litecoin is to buy some Litecoin now.  If you can, when the market is good, you can make a lot of profit. It is the right time to invest in all altcoins, including Litecoin. If we can use this time, we will get a lot of profit.

I agree that it is better than it was a few years ago, but probably worse than it was a decade ago. It is not at the top three, that's going to be a trouble in the end and we shouldn't really be seeing this type of situation. I believe that we shouldn't really be seeing Litecoin all that much, it shouldn't really be a worry and we would probably see it do a lot better.

I hope that it doesn't get that much worse, I think it is looking good and there is a good top 10 place for it in the future, that shouldn't be a deal. I think it would be a big deal if it goes to top 5, and I do not think that it will reach there, but if you remove all the stablecoins from the rankings, then there is a chance that the highest ceiling is top 5.

Once upon a time litecoin was believed to become one of the most important coins in this market, as some saw in bitcoin the equivalent of gold and they saw in litecoin the equivalent of silver, so those people expected that bitcoin will become a store of value rarely used on transactions while litecoin became the most widely used coin.

But those days are far behind us and since then it seems litecoin has failed to fulfill its potential, and with this in mind any idea that litecoin could outperform bitcoin during the next months or years seems unfounded.

But can Litecoin outperform Bitcoin or is Litecoin dead in your opinion?
In my opinion, neither of both. I guess the Litecoin price will very likely move very much in parallel to Bitcoin's, only some steps lower.

Litecoin is imo a good long time investment, and I would not be surprised if it returns into the top 10 by marketcap. You can already see that it's not dead and constantly evolving because they only relatively recently integrated MWEB as a technology which is still far from being implemented in BTC. They also pretty fastly adapted Ordinals (and on LTC it makes much more sense than on BTC).

And in terms of the transaction "density" Litecoin has got quite close to Bitcoin (although Doge is now outperforming both, most likely due to Doginals):

Well technically it's not dead, it still gets developed and works like a test platform for bitcoin upgrades. But frankly only fundamental reason i see for price growth would be that halving. It's just not exciting enough or cutting edge enough for majority to jump in. Obviously there will be influencers shilling it again after it rises as they need to get rid of their bags and people will believe that hype again, only to realize later that they were part of sucker cycle and new bag holders trying to dca their way to surface.

I don't think that any of alternative coin has capable to outperform Bitcoin and I also think that it won't gonna also happen and that doesn't means that lite coin is dead in my opinion. In my opinion Litecoin is one of the best alt-coin I always put it after the Ethereum, BNB . If anyone chooses an alternative for the long term, I would suggest Litecoin. Despite the ups and downs of the market, they have remained fairly stable, though not entirely stable. So lite coin won't be dead you can choose it for you investment.

Litecoin will always follow amd mirror bitcoin at best.  In little spurts they might outpace bitcoin but once bitcoin gets moving people will switch back over.  That's not a knock on litecoin but other than fees at some point there is no reason one would necessarily need litecoin in lieu of bitcoin.  Enjoy the mini pump but it won't be sustainable.
