After all Altcoins were troubled recently, Litecoin is gaining more confidence again.

But can Litecoin outperform Bitcoin or is Litecoin dead in your opinion?

Litecoin will never surpass Bitcoin in terms of Marketcap and Litecoin will never die,
do you not know that Litecoin is one of the oldest Altcoins in this world rypto currency?
this was almost created like Bitcoin in 2013 and until 2023 Litecoin still cannot outperform Bitcoin,
so we already know that Litecoin will be Altcoin forever.

What do you mean by outperforming Bitcoin? We know Bitcoin is still people's favorite, while Litecoin and other coins are the second investment. Litecoin may perform well ahead of the next halving, so we can see an increase in the price of Litecoin. But I wonder if Litecoin can reach its final ATH price. Because the current price and the last ATH price are still far away, it will take time to increase unless a pump comes to Litecoin, but we can hope that it will happen soon so that we can profit again while the market hasn't fully recovered yet.

Look at Litecoin's chart and history, I don't think that it will outperform Bitcoin and even if Litecoin is gonna go through its own halving.

I am not expecting that a lot of things will happen to it. It's not dead IMO but it's not as active as before anymore. Because of that, the Litecoin in the past was more popular than today.

If it's just all about investing, you can still invest on it but you expect that it won't be explosive as bitcoin.

Litecoin is dead. What makes you think if litecoin will able to surpass bitcoin? I meant it has no further development anymore. Litecoin is still exist caused by bitcoin. it's done man for litecoin even in another thread many people talking about litecoin halving and it means nothing.

It will not give impact to the price of litecoin.
No, it is not. It is still one of the good options to invest out there and the gambling industry always adds Litecoin in their option for betting so it will not be dead as long as there is usage, demand, and supporters. Try betting for casino originals like Crash, you will still see a lot of gamblers who prefer using Litecoin than other shitty cryptocurrencies.
I will still pick Litecoin over meme coins like Shiba or the new one in BRC-20. Somehow it's not created as a joke. From $88 to $89 in just hours, there's also a chance for those doing short-term trading to make money from this coin if they know how it's done.
About the further developments, yes there is none but it doesn't mean it's not valuable. Reputation is a big deal in these times, I'd rather wait for the value to increase in the long term as an investor than put my money on high-risk get rich fast scheme projects that will just scam you if you are not alert at monitoring their movements.

the return of litcoin does not guarantee that it will exceed btc, because as we know LTC is an obsolete coin that is trying to revive with the old system, but even though this coin is obsolete, there are still those who keep it, especially me Grin

Litecoin should be in a better position than this by now since is mostly used for transaction due to its less withdrawal charges and besides litecoin can't outperform bitcoin while bitcoin still remains the market mover, there is no way litecoin would gain more momentum over bitcoin why all altcoin depends on bitcoin for its increment. Although there are some altcoin who gain more strength when bitcoin is down why some lose strength when bitcoin is up but i don't see litecoin to be in that position. The losers and gainers fully explained those currency which act again bitcoin increment and decrement.

I don’t think Litecoin is dead but the halving is in 51 days.

Naturally this should make it go up shortly so if you have some, I wouldn’t be in a rush to sell it.

I don't think much about the litecoin issue, although there are some signals and accumulated before, and also understand why the ongoing event could cause many people to pour interest in it. However, honestly, litecoin has grown independently since its creation until now, it is still the same, expanding partnerships, accepting more payments, but comparing it with btc I don't think it's necessary because it doesn't deserve to be on par with btc. Some upcoming events may bring some hype around, but as we are in the crypto market, the mainstream is still dominated and influenced by the price of btc.

As I explained in a previous post, the events of Litecoin no longer affect the currency, so that its average price is significantly higher than Bitcoin, even Halving, as an event that mainly affects Bitcoin, does not affect the price of Litecoin.

The updates made by the network are not attractive in the short term, such as privacy updates or the speed of confirming transactions. I am optimistic in the long term, but in the medium and short term, there are no indications that its price will be higher than Bitcoin or not linked to it.

There is nothing promising in the short term, and if this currency holds up for years to come, it may be promising in the long term.

Litecoin is not dead and will not surpass bitcoin. Litecoin is firmly in its niche, but it does not have any unique features that will allow it to become the market leader. I don't know what all the altcoins experiencing problems you are talking about, but there are many altcoins right now that are growing much stronger than Litecoin, and their returns are measured in hundreds of percent. They are overtaking all the market leaders in terms of profitability, but they are not talked about much, even though they are in the top one hundred of crypto rankings. Look at the growth of OKB, for example.

In my opinion it would be wrong to consider a top altcoin of one era to be considered as dead. If you managed to buy litecoin at the less than 100$ range then hold it for a bigger sell price in future. There is no harm is holding it if the total capital invested in Litecoin is low but this becomes a personal preference. I would give it time before I exit because my holding time is longer, but you might have a different approach.
No harm to hold Litecoin when its halving is only less than 3 months since today and Bitcoin halving is only one more year since today. In a big bull run after Bitcoin halving, Litecoin will have good recover from its price in bear market.

Definitely not going to outperform bitcoin. But it can outperform other coins and is a better long term store as compared to many other shitcoins.
It won't outperform Bitcoin but it is safer than shit meme tokens either ERC20, BSC or BRC20. Litecoin is a Proof of Work coin and it is safer than mintable tokens. If you don't invest in Litecoin but invest in shit meme tokens, ask yourself why. I think many newbies (not you) fall to meme tokens and ignore top Proof of Work coins like Litecoin.

Is it true that all altcoins have problems, I don't think so, For the state that Litecoin is dead? I don't think so either. LTC cryptocurrency is moving positively, which is good. I expected a stronger move, especially after forming the cup pattern and The price is currently trading at $87.85. to outperform Bitcoin I don't think so

But can Litecoin outperform Bitcoin or is Litecoin dead in your opinion?

I just took a quick look at coinmarketcap and coingecko and to me it looks like that Litecoin took a hit just as big as most other altcoins out there and Litecoin is also not really recovering fast or coming back stronger than all the other altcoins. In terms of outperforming bitcoin. I think that there will definitely be phases over a few days or even a few weeks where Litecoin can outperform bitcoin in terms of gains for example when we get into an alt-season again.
Overall though i think that Litecoin is one of those altcoins from the very first years of cryptos that are still big but slowly but surely losing relevance. Litecoin is just not offering the same amount of functionality that Ethereum for example does.

Bitcoin is gold, Litecoin is silver. Silver can not outperform gold neither do Litecoin outperform Bitcoin.

On market, Litecoin can have outperform within a few hours, days or weeks but generally Litecoin can not outperform Bitcoin.

Litecoin has the potential to have a higher market price and is not a coin to be considered dead. It is one of the early and biggest coins in this industry. But if it is surpassing the market value of Bitcoin, I highly doubt of it. In every uptrend, Bitcoin is leading the way and other coins are just following.

As long as a coin is having volume, then that means it is still alive and there's still a possibility for its market price to go up. Its development on the other hand is the reason why its market value won't or struggling to multiply as much as others but an increase in the market value is the minimum. Check its chart and you'll see. Since it is one of the biggest, I guess its will also be able to recover on the next bullrun.

litecoin is not dead. But that doesn't mean it can outperform bitcoin. As everyone knows, the emergence of crypto money is thanks to bitcoin. Topics such as whether any crypto currency can surpass bitcoin or outperform bitcoin every semester. But as history always repeats itself, bitcoin has always broken its own record, showing that it is reliable and better than all cryptocurrencies at all times. He proves this not by his technology, but by showing that he is the first crypto money, that is, the king of the market.

Gaining confidence? +8% in last 24 hours?
Here's some news;
Litecoin (LTC) Miners Prepare for Halving: What’s in Store for Litecoin Price?

We cant really say its a comeback but to anticipate that in every halving event, it turns out that it becomes standard that the price really be making some uprising movement
when halving event happens. This is why its not really that shocking that price could climb up on ladders.

We know that LTC is one of the oldest coins or projects that we do have in the market which is next to Bitcoin. About its tech then no doubt that its bit outdated compared to new ones
but still not that bad and there's still demand into it.

Well done with expecting Bitcoin to outperform Bitcoin, but as far as I know it is a waste of time to speculate how best Litecoin can outperform Bitcoin to replace Bitcoin and that will never happen.
I have not expected Bitcoin to outperform Bitcoin because 1 BTC is always 1 BTC.  Huh

Sorry mate what meant is that you expecting litecoin to outperform Bitcoin,  it was a typo error but I have corrected that now and you can now have a clearer understanding of what I mean also I am glad that you know that Bitcoin is high-risk compared to bitcoin and the is a higher possibility of a pump and dumped in litecoin, but that is almost impossible for Bitcoin.

And I am hoping to read my replies from your ops, even if anyone should choose Litecoin, then it shouldn't be for long-term bases.
