I hope whoever wins makes a beautiful thread and shares this with the community. The Mona Lisa in a closet, is just a canvas, lol

Theres no community interest because nobody has seen it.
Its just, "a coloring book". Only the artists know the magic of this piece.

We all put in so much work over 2 years. This book traveled the globe. This is an amazing story. The fact that someone dosen't want this shared frustrates me. It should be a thread explaining the story and process followed by all the pictures.

Good point Dane, it is a bit of an unknown, of all the participants only 2 have posted their work.
Maybe if we got all the images and created an official thread showcasing the completed project
we could gauge the interest from that. Otherwise we can run with the simple raffle between the
participants, and I would like to include myself in the raffle too! if anyone has an objection to that let me know

giammangiatoyou are the next participant, contact me

So I invite everyone to post up an image of their work!

So after giving this some thought over the last few days I think the best outcome to finalise
this project is to just raffle it between everyone involved. I dont think there is a big enough appetite
among the wider community here to warrant a paid raffle or auction.

I'll give it another 24hrs and set up the raffle and roll the blockchain and to let anyone
post their opinions/thoughts.

Thanks for all the suggestions thus far but I think this is the simplest option.

Thread title changed for the moment...

I agree with you there MX12 - it was fun receiving the book and seeing the previous participants artistry then wondering what else could be done with the remaining pages.

In the meantime, I'd like to make a slight modifier on suggestion two - the book gets auctioned and the funds are used to create a second book and if the funds allow, it covers the cost of postage to new contributors.

While I didn't contribute art myself, the two artists here did remarkable jobs.

Kudos to everyone who participated.

I like selling to the community, but I also like sharing the pictures ahead of time so the buyer knows what they're getting. That should also help the sale price. Whatever happens it was a fun project and glad I could be part of BTC collectables history.

Crazy, mx12art in this book, brings back memories. I'd love to see the final result, it's a gift to the community. I don't need anything in return, it's amazing to be a part of it. Seeing it would help me remember that time, which I otherwise might forget. That's why I paint.

2.) Auction it to the wider BCT community
* funds generated to be divided out among the contributors to cover postage costs incurred
** mj you will have to incur the cost of final postage

If this option is selected, why would other contributor's post cost be covered but not mine? Huh

it would be mj!

i'm just saying that we have all had to post to the next in line, and the next in line after
you will be its final destination. we will all be in the pot for divvying out the proceeds.
apologies for not being clearer.

I have finally completed my page.
Not sure what comes next... Huh

Excellent news mj!

Its remarkable that we got to this point with the book travelling so far and through
so many "trains, planes and automobiles" without getting lost or seriously damaged.

Well done to all of you 👍

My two options to decide its next journey are:

1.) Raffle it among the participants only
* in order to make it a level playing field everyone gets 1 ticket
** mj you will have to incur the cost of final postage

2.) Auction it to the wider BCT community
* funds generated to be divided out among the contributors to cover postage costs incurred
** mj you will have to incur the cost of final postage

Whoever wins the book takes full ownership and can share the images as they want,
sell it later or just HODL it.

sorry for the delay but with the holidays and our trips we were very busy and work has been very busy. I was and still am very busy so I let my grandson do the coloring (known here on forums as "The_Crypto_Kid" Will be handing off to minerjones tomorrow.

Confirming that Mopar handed off the coloring book to me today during our weekly meetup Cheesy

I must say that after looking at some of the pages that have been completed, I feel that my art skills are noob-level status at best Tongue

Can't wait for everyone to see the end product and all the work that has gone into it.... some of the pages are amazing!!! Smiley

For the last few weeks I totally forgot about this project,
How are we looking mj, do you have it finished yet?

Not finished, but getting close. Cheesy

wow - TBH I had totally forgotten about this project I have a lot on my plate ATM

I have had a sneak preview of some of the pages as some "artists" have shared their
page with me but I'm sure the physical thing will be outstanding.

MJ - just a tip, but you could photocopy your page and do a trial run on that so you
can see if you are happy with what you plan to do, anyway - I'm sure it will be fine.

Remember the poster project? some were apprehensive about doing their page and
it turned out really well.

As to "what do we do when its finished?
I say we raffle it among the artists - can I include myself in it?
and whoever wins it can do with it what they like.

Am looking forward to seeing the end result (My two contributions (by friends here) were about midway through the colouring process, so I've been keen to see the end results)

I'm also curious for those that contributed, would you have done similar to what had already been done?  Or, would you have done things completely differently?
