I also want LNK tokens I can use on exchanges. I can not use my LNK tokens

As per your advice to Coin_Trader in above quote I have also attempted to add another token to my 30 old tokens in same MEW wallet address. I have tried all ways possible but nothing works for me to have new contract # tokens .

 I emailed support 10 days ago about this with no response.

Please advise me Deja and not ignore me.

I will post when Deja responds to me.

I had a look and there is actually 14 different tokens with the ticker LNK listed on etherscan...  etherscan.io/tokens?q=lnk   8 of these tokens are called Link Platform.

killerjoegreece told me he had 100 LNK tokens for sale so perhaps there are other people who are in my situation also but are not aware they have old contract # tokens......

It is now 7 days since I sent an email to [email protected] for advice re my issue but to date have no response to my email.
Five days ago I also asked Deja for comment about this issue in my post # 913 on this page and again I have no response to date.
I also sent an email to killerjoegreece last week , but no reply to me and he is uncontactable on this forum b/c he says his a/c PM does not work.
I am sure Deja will get this issue sorted.

I don't want to spread FUD, but I think you got scamed.
That there are 2 contracts for the same token is not normal but in same cases there exists some more, like NIO.

I think the case why there are 2 different contracts out there is the token supply.

It seems to me that they burned some of their tokens or didn't even created them.
Normaly when sth like that happen, everyone holding the depricated tokens will receive the new ones as well

Now it seems to me, that killerjoegreece sold you some worthless depricated LNK tokens
You really should contact him. I think the LNK team can't help you about that, but you can try.

I purchased from reputable forum member killerjoegreece. We had a few messages about this on the previous page of this thread. I have noticed that killerjoegreece has since deleted his posts on previous page but as you see above I have quoted one of the posts he made re selling his LNK

So because killerjoegreece claimed he could not send or receive PMs we communicated by email. I still have emails. Also I have since sent email about this to killerjoegreece and have not had a response to date. I also sent an email about this to [email protected] a few days ago and have not had a reply to date.

killerjoegreece has a good rep on this site and has a few posts on this thread and done the Greek translation for the ICO as well as doing hundreds of translations for other ICOs.

Normallly the depricated tokens shouldn't be traded anywhere

Last week I purchased LNK. A few days later I purchased some more LNK and sent it to the same personal wallet address where the intial LNK is stored. I would expect that my second purchase would have added to the balance of my first LNK purchase but this is not the case. I have two seperate ammounts of LNK sitting in my wallet. My first purchase is a different Contract Address to the second purchase.

Could Deja , Ethereum Link admin or anyone please explain why two different contract addresses for LNK and also how is this resolved so I can add my LNK together and have the same contract address for my LNK. I have never had or seen this ERC20 token issue. It seems that LNK has 2 contract addresses and I have somehow aquired LNK from the old contract address and not the newer ,active contract address.

Actually not, what is happening is simple that there wasn't anyone selling the token, there were big buy orders in the exchanges but as no one sold they were removed ... also it seems like 21XO is also Buying NOT Selling.

Etherscan show several addresses containing 300 or more LNK not just one and that doesn't even mean each address belongs only to one user, if you are talking about the address with more than 17k tokens these were burned lol not in circulation, see coinmarkercap.

Actually do not bother to PM me.

I had a look at exchanges CoinExchange , EtherDelta and Mercatox and the price of LNK on all 3 exchanges has been artificially inflated by someone. They are using fractions of a LNK token to set up buy and sell walls to manipulate and inflate the price. Ask yourself why someone would want to inflate the price of LNK. This is not a good look.

I also had a look at Etherscan and majority of LNK tokens are in hands of just one person.

For above reasons this token LNK looks very suspect and I would not buy it. 

Why are you not trying on Coinexchange its good and safe way to buy any amount

just found out that i also still own some LNK , i never used them after ico , every time i checked my MEW , i forgot becuase their wasn't an amount after my LNK , sometimes it is good to forget some off your tokens

There is someone selling it on coinexchange.io why would you buy here.

We’re glad to announce the official date the platform will be launched on the Ethereum main net and silver trading will be initialized, this date is March 10th.

Hence it's a low volume coin, the current ticker price is the last rate someone was willing to exchange LNK tokens against some other currency
Example:
Someone sold 24h ago for 0.04 ETH per token and now someone bought for 0.08ETH per LNK, you have a 100% rise
