I haven't counted the number of merits for quite a while now, but it comes in at 113 merits just for the OP of the Known Alts thread (there's a handful of other posts in that thread I've picked up merits for). People have been very generous and it inspires me to keep investigating & maintaining the thread.

Wow pretty sure rank and merit system really work and good for those who achieved to rank up. It is not easy to received merits however still users manage to rank up.

The good side? It is pretty obvious that user now tend to be good and do helpful contributions for the forum. This is the reward for the forum and a way against doing shitposts, scam and plagiarism. This is my opinion and I just realize that I myself too adding the problem of the forum when I was doing bounty campaign especially in the social media.

Now that the shitposts had been minimized we see now the essense of it. However, scamming is still there and it is very difficult to eradicate even outside the forum. It is just one of the major problem of the forum even in the future still will be seeing scam activities.

Anyway, Congratulations to the users who just rank up!

Still weird though, I went from 112 activity to 126 activity last Friday (July 3rd) and from Member to Full Member (or at least on my profile). I wasn't able to use my own avatar before that date. According to this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1861412 topic you need to have at least 120 activity so I'm not sure how I could have become full Member on June 10th when my activity was below 120? Or is the list only based on the number of merits?
