my goal is that the merits surpass my activity here in the forum and from then on this should remain so, whereby the activity then increases continuously in certain daily intervals
thus i am forced to write good and helpful posts, so that these are filled with merits

It's great to hear that so many users have managed to rankup to their new rank recently. I think because of the merit source added by theymos, the merit system works better for the community. Each quality poster will get a turn to rank up regardless of whether it's sooner or later depending on how actively they post useful things. Congratulations to all who have moved up the ranks. Sooner or later, I will catch up with you guys too.

The logs and chart on the first page of this thread have been updated as of October 22, 2021.

SFR10 received a lot of merits and now have over 2000 merits. Outstanding!

psycodad is a new Legendary.
SiNeReiNZzz, paxmao and Csmiami who are active on German and Spanish local boards respectively have also achieved the same position.
famososMuertos who posts in the Spanish local board has earned enough merits to become a Legendary but he does not have sufficient activity.

leea-1334 has ranked up to a Hero Member.
blue Snow, LibertValance and Unknown01 who are active on Indonesian and German local boards respectively have also reached this level.

Findingnemo became a Sr. Member.
Cryptmuster, Hispo and Prova123 who make posts in Russian, Spain and Italian local boards respectively have also achieved the same rank.
garlonicon, kaggie and Apocalipsa have also received the amount of merit required to rank up, but they do not have enough activity points yet.

ICENI_Spartacus, MixMAx123, Imran232, Spokanistan51, krogoth, Eclipse33, ccgllc and Nathrixxx have been promoted to Full Members.
Magicalking, ashti, püsür and waybesuricata who are active on Spanish and Turkish local boards respectively have also attained the same rank.

As far as I can see, you earn merits quite quickly. You have received 200+ merits in the last four weeks. My guess is that people will reward you and carry you to the next magical mark of 3000 merits in the blink of an eye.

lightfoot, marcus_of_augustus, Biodom, Coding Enthusiast and sirazimuth earned many merits and now have more than 2000 merits.
cygan and abhiseshakana who are active on German and Indonesian local boards respectively have also crossed the same threshold.

As I can see, Quidat has ranked up to a Hero Member about four months ago. He was on the corresponding list since June 25, 2021. vv181 has been added to the logs today.

Hey Coin-1, it looks like some of the other members have also managed to rank up. I found that some members had reached Hero rank because their merit and activity were sufficient. Quidat and vv181 are two users who managed to become Hero members in recent weeks. Some of the other members also seem to have made it through the ranks, but I haven't come across them along the way.

Nice to see there are a lot of members who've ranked up since the last time this thread was updated.  It still seems like a small number, given how many members there are here, but I guess that's the merit system's natural selection process in action.

I could have sworn hilariousandco had crossed the 2000 mark a long time ago!  I know he hasn't been posting nearly as much as he used to, but he earned a lot of merits in the early days of the merit system and had a lot "airdropped" at the start of it.  Guess I was wrong.

The logs and chart have been updated. I also published the first part of the logs in the external post because there are already too many Legendaries on the first page of this thread.

It's now a time to celebrate and congratulations you're officially a Legendary member now.  Though we are Legendaries, just keep up helping newbies that need a guide to be a good member here in our community because they're the next generation to us.

Anyway, I kinda have double celebrations, it's my Birthday today.  Being Legendary rank is my gift, thank you to everyone who helps me, I didn't mention them but they're always in my heart.

Some of the username that I monitored managed to rank up either to Senior, Hero and Legendary. Congratulations to the three of you. I'm waiting for my turn to come. sheenshane, Pokapoka124, Rengga Jati

At this moment, Another 38 miles to reach that rank. I will get it soon.

Congratulations to all the ranked up members and it was immense feel of joy for me as well when i see myself becoming hero from senior member after introduction of merit system.If you are determined to achieve anything you can surely do it and for forum you  need to make effective contributions and exchange knowledge on the forum.The sooner or later you realise this is best for you.Next target is on the way to legendary for me by making quality posts on the forum only.Again good luck to all other members.

On August 1, you were 135 miles away from Legendary rank. Today is August 23rd and you are only 49 miles away from Legendary rank. I think you will achieve Legendary rank within this month, not next month in the way you are moving forward. And if any merit source drops some merit rain on you, it will take less time. Anyway congratulations in advance.

Ranking up and attaining the desired levels is necessary and very important.
Big congrats to the people whose hard work and commitments have granted them this rank.

And now my distance with Legendary rank is only 51 merit. I am very grateful if I have the opportunity to rank up in the next 1 month. Maybe there will be a little thank you for the contribution of many users in my merit income. Departing from senior rank with 250 merit when the merit system was implemented, it took at least 4 years for me to reach that Legendary rank which is currently close to being achieved.

Again, I couldn't reach this stage if it wasn't for everyone who though that my answers either helped someone or helped themselves finding what they were looking for / agreed with, so I would like to say thank you to everyone who helped me reach this stage. I'm sure that we'll see in this thread a lot more of new generation users that will make us company for years to come, and to have someone as dedicate as Coin-1 to show us who is "rising" up amongst our user base is an incredible feat. Thank you as well for your work Coin-1.
I'm glad I still keep my notifications up for this thread, else I would probably loose this mention @GazetaBitcoin. I am the one to thank you for trusting me with some of your life story and difficulties that you face. It saddens me to know that your country situation sadly hasn't still changed last time that we talked but I still have hopes that the EU will do something about it (when I sadly cannot precise...). I got to say that both you and The Pharmacist are two of the members that I end up talking more (at least when compared to the remaining user base) and I'm glad that I do - for sure you're the first batch of connections here that I may call "known" users - I've got hopes to call friends in the next years! I know that I'll be cheering you guys from the balcony whilst you running again for the 10th "Tour de Fox" 

I'd like again to congratulate all the ones which leveled up, bringing quality to this forum and, of course, Coin-1 for all his efforts in keeping the thread updated.

In particular, I am very happy to see in this list the names of two users that I know more and that I collaborated with - Little Mouse and RickDeckard. Little Mouse was one of those which inspired me to create a new translation of the Bitcoin white paper from scratch - which I did - and I thank him for that. Rick, on another hand, was in several occasions an excellent interlocutor, talking to him on various subjects, including some horrors made by Romanian govern toward its citizen. It amazed me to see him so touched by those incidents and also to see he knows the situation, although he has a different nationality. Talking with you was a great honor for me, Rick!

I'd also like to congratulate one member mentioned here, which had a stunning evolution inside the forum or, at least impressed me a lot - BlackHatCoiner. I remember his beginning here, when he was a newbie, knowing code but not so much of Bitcoin. I remember he posted a dozen of topics with questions - what does that mean / what does the other mean - and, at first, I was looking with curiosity at him, seeing how many question he raises... In time, I realized that this man really wants to learn -- and he did it! And after learning a lot he was also able to bring his contributions to the forum and, as a result, he earned in a very short amount of time the merits required for being Legendary. Furthermore, his posts have such a good quality, that he was also accepted in the best signature campaign of the forum!

In my opinion  BlackHatCoiner is a true example for any newbie and also for anyone willing to learn, that if you really want to learn and be a good contributor, this is always possible! Congrats, BlackHatCoiner, and chapeau!

It's my pleasure that I'm a part of it.  Kinda I'm speechless but thank you.

Congratulations to all the newly ranked up members.  Even going from Jr. Member to Member is a huge merit obstacle for most members, so it's no easy feat and all of you deserve it.  But it's supposed to be difficult to rank up--that's the point of the merit system in case any of you didn't know; it's like a natural selection process for members who can make decent posts: the people who put in some time and effort into what they write have a better chance of earning merits, while the shitposters get left behind--usually forever.
