I think long time investments are very reasonable and also very hard ways to try to have good profit. I prefer holding generally, and I think ethereum, monero, waves and icon can be good choices.

I strongly believe that one should target buying Bitcoins and Ethereum for long term investment because of the general confidence in them and also their sustainability. The altcoins are great but for now in respect of being a long term investment, I will go for the two.
I think the first thing you should have is at least a bitcoin, when you have 1 btc you can start to see what to invest in, I advise you to take a look at NEO, RIPPLE and ReQ all of these are currencies with a promising future and that are set on a pretty solid platform.
