As parents, we don't want to see our children exposed to gambling at a young age because it will affect their mental health and will carry over into adulthood. It is indeed sad to see children who have started gambling because they are not yet fit for gambling and they should still be under the guidance and supervision of their parents. But this is also influenced by the condition of the surrounding environment, where if there are friends who have started gambling, there is a possibility that this will affect other children. For this reason, we as parents must be able to provide guidance, direction and supervision to our children so that they are not exposed to gambling. We as parents also have to be careful if we want to gamble. Don't let our children see it so they become curious and want to know what we are doing.
Well, that one of the impacts of children who are addicted to gambling, as adults say, when they experience bad things such as losing streaks and so on, it can affect their mental health and of course make them unable to control themselves.
Just imagine what would happen if children who clearly don't know good from bad or don't know anything about self-control have to face mental stress caused by the effects of gambling.
It will be very dangerous, of course this will greatly affect the mind and stability of child brain development.
Today I heard quite interesting story from people who were gathered in front of the house, they are my neighbors.
They were talking about lottery bets because one of them managed to win fairly large amount of around $650, he won the lottery on 4 numbers that actually came out exactly the same.
There was one of them whose son was 16 years old and had followed what his father did, namely betting on the lottery, one of them asked what happened to his son who now often buys lottery tickets.
And there was quite surprising answer where he said that it wasn't problem, getting predicted numbers in the lottery requires complicated calculations and uses mathematics so predicting the lottery would be the same as learning science or mathematical formulas.
I was shocked and thought why parent could say something like that when they found out their child also liked lottery betting.
I think he is stupid parent and doesn't care about his child future, because maybe now he is just betting on the lottery but in the future it will definitely be much worse.
The odds of winning the lottery are so slim that some people are likely in debt or are looking for someone to lend them money even though they are unable to purchase basic needs. This is because they have become devastated and have developed a delusional belief that they will win the lottery, even though their chances of winning are only 1% out of billions of people who participated in the lottery.
However, as you guys pointed out, parents serve as their children's primary role models. Therefore, it makes sense that if a parent starts boasting about his winnings to a friend, the child will hear about it, become inspired by his father, and perhaps even want to imitate him. Which is unfortunate, I suppose, as his son may become overly naive and believe that winning the lottery will bring him easy money. In that case, he may still think of evil ideas like stealing and learning how to borrow money from others, or he may develop many vices as a result of being influenced by friends when he is still young. The parent will struggle to stop their child from doing what he is doing.
In actuality, there is nothing wrong with placing a lottery wager; the only thing that should be avoided is the involvement of kids, since they are obviously inexperienced with how it works. That is the one significant error that the parent has been thinking about from the start.
