Well, that one of the impacts of children who are addicted to gambling, as adults say, when they experience bad things such as losing streaks and so on, it can affect their mental health and of course make them unable to control themselves.

Unfortunately even if the dream is small in reach it cannot be limited or prohibited. everyone somehow thinks with the very small hope of winning from the many people who place the lottery. I always thought why not be a bookie holding the money and then earning a fee from it. Compared to putting money into a lottery that is so small that I think I will almost never win, this is ridiculous. but I ask in this world, is there really a person who got the jackpot from the lottery and then he left the lottery without returning to play? he must be the luckiest person in the world.

As parents, we don't want to see our children exposed to gambling at a young age because it will affect their mental health and will carry over into adulthood. It is indeed sad to see children who have started gambling because they are not yet fit for gambling and they should still be under the guidance and supervision of their parents. That's how lottery and lottery tickets are designed to be, they're not supposed to make an easy win for someone so it's fair that they're at that kind of odds, it's not like they're not losing a lot of customers when they do that right? That's probably the average that Mr. Beast done for lottery, you pay a thousand and you get your 700 back. It's not rigged, it's just that the odds are so low that you might as well just give that lottery ticket money to someone because that's the same thing. If lottery is easy to win, we would've been doing it as a profession already, there's no need for mathematicians that are good at calculating odds and probabilities.

Whenever I play for national lottery I consider it like that 1 in 10 million possibility is still lot bigger than zero. So I think it may be worth to play only once everytime it happens, instead of not joining it. I never considered lottery as better option than typical gambling. Its lot worse. Its pretty much worse from sports betting too. But like, what if you win? what if that 1 in 10 million is YOU. That's why I keep trying it.

Famous YouTuber MrBeast uploaded a video on his YouTube channel a few days ago where he bought a lot of lottery tickets for a million dollars hoping to win billions. MrBeast bought so many lotteries that they had to be brought in by truck. This YouTuber and his team scanned all the lotteries together and after scanning all the lotteries they got only $700K dollars they bought the lottery with a million dollars and they got only $700K dollars in return. Some of his lotteries have $50 some lotteries have $100 and very few lotteries have $1000 and most lotteries have $0. He is a big YouTuber and through this video of his I got so much idea that money should not be invested in such lotteries. If you are very lucky you might get $1000 but that is very few people get. All the lotteries I have ever won have gone against me and I have never won a lottery.

Yeah!  The thought that you will be lucky and win the jackpot in the next lottery draw is indeed a fairly common reason for people to frequently buy lottery tickets and even sometimes makes people buy lottery tickets continuously for many years.  By the way, sometimes some people even win some small gifts.  But on the other hand, the thought of a big win and a luxurious, rich life after such a win still diversifies the often boring and monotonous life of many people.  And this is another positive influence of the lottery on public consciousness.  So I think there will be lotteries for many, many years to come. 

But in general, this is quite harmless entertainment, unless of course the lottery organizers are cheating.  But the state must monitor this.  And it does this, passes laws on the lottery and catches and punishes scammers who deceive people using the lottery.

Now, from the mistakes and negligence of parents, these children could potentially become generation that will experience gambling addiction problems and when they become addicts it will be more difficult to stop because they have no control.
Providing an understanding of control over children is very difficult because even though parents have said and made various efforts, the child will still return to his gambling activities because of feelings of curiosity that are truly uncontrollable.
In some cases, actually bad things happen from cases of gambling addiction experienced by children who are underage or still at school. And of course we as gamblers who are also adults or even married will feel what it would be like if this condition happened to our children or our family.
So at least we ourselves can avoid all bad activities or gambling activities from all the families we have, especially for those who are still classified as underage children.

Well, that what doesn't make sense and I still think that the activity of buying lottery tickets is carried out because of their own will in an effort to fulfill their desires and curiosity about gambling, of course in the desire to buy lottery tickets.
It is shame if there are parents who involve their children in betting activities and of course there will be long-term impacts if things like this continue to be done.

As you said, sometimes we have to teach ourselves about new things, that's what happened to all of us in this forum with Bitcoin because our parents didn't know it when they were young. So there is a lesson to be learned there, as present or future parents, about lessons that must be taught to our children in order to reach a proper balance: on one hand, enjoy life and, on the other, still be able to avoid risky behaviors.

In my personal case, I consider myself quite a critical thinker, but still flexible. I enjoy playing lotteries from time to time, but I'm aware that I wouldn't enjoy playing more often; on the contrary, it could end up being frustrating after decades of putting too many expectations on a dream life that never arrives.

Someone else could remember his father's hobby as naive and never play lotteries (especially if his relationship with his father wasn't good, I guess). And finally there must be cases also of people who blindly repeat what they see when they were children, go further and end up being addicted to different ways of gambling.

Just in case, I decided that I wouldn't carry my underage son or daughter to bars as long as I could (it is hard to do it in a country with a culture of "fiesta" like mine), and of course casinos, but I don't think the same happens with lotteries.

In fact, I've read today that in my country the Government is about to ban influencers from advertising gambling, but that rule won't be applied to lotteries.
