When setting up new clients I'm still getting issues connecting to nodes and keeping a stable connection to download the blockchain.

EDIT: Got it after adding over 25 nodes to my conf. I don't think this is healthy for the coin. My QT client still connects to a single connection for a split second then hops off.

This only happens to me on my Windows machines with OP's build. I compiled qt on an Ubuntu 12.10 box with upnp enabled and I was able to connect, and download the blockchain almost immediately. However, I did add several nodes to the .conf, and I only have a few machines running linux, so I don't know if I was just lucky. I had trouble getting the client to work on a few machines with OP's build.

Need help!  I'm running it linux headless.  The thing runs... I guess... It doesn't show in the processes at all.  But, I can give quarkcoind commands.  I've got over a dozen peers.  Plus, the hashespersec doesn't work, so how am I to tell that the thing is mining and get an idea about speed?

hashespersec doesn't work yet. Is your CPU at around 100%? If you have genproclimit=-1 set, quarkcoind should be using about 100% of your CPU.

What price do you think is the "stable price"?
Well it's currently underpriced, but it should be above the current cryptsy price, I'm not sure about the exact range it should be in tho,

Price has fallen hard while difficulty skyrocketed... hmm

I smell a sharp rise incoming in the near future.

Agreed.

Sure if you have a botnet.  100% profit and no annoying super fast GPU, FPGA, or ASICs to drive down profits.

Better to trade now. Prices are low, could be an opportunity
