Serie A side AC Monza is set to sign Papu Gómez as a free agent:
According to Sky Sport Italia, Monza has signed free agent Alejandro 'Papu' Gomez and he will undergo a medical tomorrow, making his return to Serie A.
The transfer window has closed, but clubs can still sign players who are out of contract.
Gomez sees his contract with Sevilla expire on June 30 and has been waiting to decide on his next move, which includes interest from Saudi Arabia and France.
The 35-year-old Argentine spent most of his international career in Italy, first with Catania from 2010–13 and then with Atalanta from September 2014 until January 2021.
Sold to Sevilla in succession by Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini, he made 252 appearances for La Dea, scoring 59 goals and providing 72 assists.

Interesting news. I also don't expect Mourinho to get sacked or leave before the end of the season so this transfer wouldn't happen until then probably. It actually depends on how things will go on with Roma in the most of the season. For now they are in horrible shape unfortunately.  Sad

Mourinho could have left the team already if he wanted by the way. He also got an offer from Saudi Arabia and a really attracting one. But he wanted to stay for improving Roma's success level.

However if Roma can't make it to the Champions League once again then I don't expect Roma to keep him any longer.
With the way things are going i think Roma might be forced to sack Mourinho they're currently close to the relegation zone and if things doesn't get better in their next matches they might end in the relegation zone which would be very bad for the team and the board might be forced to sack him and seek for another alternative that would help the club from being relegated, at this point Roma should be in the first six in the Serie A instead of 16th were they're currently.

He's not getting younger and i think he's getting too old to handle the team, he would had accepted a deal at the Saudi league when had the opportunity instead of facing an embarrassement of getting sacked, anyways i won't conclude that he would be sacked yet because he could turn things around and come up with a strategy that would make him start winning games again.

Finally Eric Ten Hag has got the perfect pairing for Casemiro that would bring our the best in him and help him perform more freely on the pitch without fear of leaving the midfield open, I noticed in the match against Crystal Palace that Amrabat is a versatile player because i was suprised that he waa played from the left back  area but he still managed to play the position properly like it was his rightful position, and was constantly seen in the midfield area as well as a support to casemiro when Mount and Hannibal moves forward.

The way Amrabat played against Crystal Palace if he keeps that form against their next match we could see their midfielder woes coming to an end and they'll begin to play good football again like they did last season, but i don't think Ten Hag would play mount at the right wing, he could play either pellistri or Fernandes at that position and play mount as a attacking midfielder. With Amrabat and Casemiro paired together.
Ten Hag efforts to bring him from Fiorentina paid off, even though his status as a loan player, Amrabat showed a promising contribution. It is true that the positioning is different from usual, as if to confirm that the club management deserves to make him permanent at the end of the season. Amrabat can act as a solution for Ten Hag during a defensive player crisis, and it has been proven that Amrabat can take on this role very well. The costs spent by United will be in line with the contribution made by Amrabat, he could be one of the successful transfers I think.

Overall, his addition to the United squad has had an impact on improving the club performance, where Mount return is also a blessing for the Red Devils. On the other hand, the victory over Crystal Palace was achieved without Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford. I'm starting to think that it would be better if these two players were left on the sidelines for a few matches, at least to prove whether they are really the ones behind United defeat all this time.

I read the news that Mourinho is likely to coach a top Mexican club. This is because of Mourinho's Istagram upload. There is speculation if he coached like América, Cruz Azul, Chivas, Monterrey d. an Tigres. But it seems that will happen after his contract at AS Roma expires. It may be around 2024 in June. In addition, she has sponsorship deals with Adidas and Top Eleven 2024.

Exactly! If Napoli doesn't appreciate him, it might be best for Osimhen to leave for a club where he feels valued. Recent incidents at Napoli indicate a strain in the relationship between Victor Osimhen and the club. Other teams might take advantage of this situation to attract the striker, and Real Madrid could be the rightful place for him.
I don't know what whoever handles Napoli's social media handles was thinking when they posted those videos, i mean, we're talking about their best player here, the one who led them to the title last season, the same title they hadn't won for over three decades, it is completely ridiculous, and i can only imagine how furious Osimhen would be right now. The crazy thing is that, Napoli are yet to officially apologize to Victor Osimhen, and i am shocked to say the least.

Osimhen has not talked about leaving, but if this unfair treatment continues, he might be forced to leave for another team, and he has the quality to play for any club in the world and perform exceptionally well.
Napoli reportedly refused to apologize to Osimhen, the club felt the post was not intended to ridicule its player. Exactly as you said, it is surprising to learn that the club refused to apologize to Osimhen. Most recently, Osimhen was seen not executing a penalty in the match against Udinese, Piotr Zielinski took over the task to do so, Napoli managed to get full points and Osimhen contributed one goal.

The professional attitude shown by the Nigerian striker is worthy of being an example, and I think deserves to be appreciated. If this problem continues, I think Napoli will lose their assets on the transfer market. Not a few clubs want his services, it could be that Real Madrid and Chelsea will become new ports for Osimhen. Los Blancos need an ideal striker as a replacement for Benzema, while the Blues need a better striker than Nicolas Jackson when Nkunku is injured.

Gennaro Gattuso has reached an agreement as Marseille coach for this season and previously Marseille often had poor results which made previous coach Marcelino want to leave the club. This is a new experience for Gennaro Gattuso coaching a team in Ligue 1 and of course the former Milan legend is eagerly awaiting his ingenuity in managing Marseille. Actually, as a coach, Gennaro Gattuso is quite good but sometimes quite bad, so as a coach his quality is just right. After being fired by Valencia last season, he is finally able to coach a team again and his deal will last until June 2024 at Marseille. What do you think, Gennaro Gattuso is the ideal coach for Marseille?

He had an ambitious and combative identity during his football career. He usually wants to transfer the same identity to the teams he coaches. Actually, Marseille needs this too. They have played 6 games in the league this season and got 2 wins, 3 draws and 1 defeat. They need someone to get the team in the mood. And Gattuso has the character to do that. I actually wanted Igor Tudor to stay as manager, Marseille should have managed to keep him. But I think Gattuso is also a successful coach. He, like Igor Tudor, adopts and applies an aggressive style of football. Therefore I think he is the right choice.

He brought balance to that Man United midfielders, he also made Casemiro roaming around freely and comfortable. He was almost everywhere that night. The perfect midfied trio would be of Casemiro, Bruno Fernandez and Amrabat. With Sancho and Antony absent, Mason Mount can fill up the right wing role as that was the wing he played during Thomas Tuchels debut and Champions League winning season for Chelsea. They have to drill Crystal Palace better than they did and make better preparations for the Champions League fixture against Galatasaray.
Victor Oshime should leave when he gets another opportunity. This is how a club disrespects a player that helped them achieve a long time goal. He should leave but he has not been mentioned amongst the list of players wanted by Real Madrid hierarchies.

This guy is one of the example where you can be good as a player, but you're bad when you're become a manager, pretty much similar like Lampard. People should need to wake up because they shouldn't judge the manager capability because he was a superstar player, that's different.

Marseille was quite good, with Gattuso they will not able to reach even Europa League.
Frank Lampard was an exceptional player that scored goals for Chelsea and he's also consider as Chelsea legend because he lifted significant trophies with other important players like John Terry, Didier Drogba and others. Lampard coming to Stanford Bridge, this time as a coach, he didn't have any good reputation, making the team crumbled in performance and zero improvements. His story didn't end well. Olympique Marseille appointing Gennaro Gattus as the new coach is good news, but on the contrary there's no coach without poor performance and records. Marseille will exercised patience if the probability of Gattus to do well in his first season incharge, he's not above the system, gradually he will be acquainted.
I don't think it's fair to say Lampard brought Chelsea apart, because Chelsea's situation was like that before he was appointed coach. The reason I say that is because he came at a time when things were not good, the players he had were inherited from the previous coach and also the opportunity he did not have much because he came when the season was about to end. Indeed he did not have a positive impact after he was appointed coach, but we also have to look at the situation when he joined.

Midfielder Sofyan Amrabat is playing for MU on loan from Fiorentina. For the first time, MU won 2 consecutive victories in the match against Sofyan Amrabat, promising to create momentum for the midfield. Rookie Sofyan Amrabat will make a valuable central pair with Casemiro if they get along well. Amrabat's energy helps Casemiro, Mount, or even Bruno Fernandes, and the attacking players benefit. Although he plays as a lefl-back, Amrabat is allowed to play freely. Even though it's not his forte position, he wants MU to have more choices. Everything is excellent, and he can play any role the team needs. Perhaps he is the final piece of the puzzle for MU to turn the situation around.
Sofyan Amrabat is a midfielder but he seems very confident that he can have a big influence on Manchester United, whereas I see that this player has a bit talent for providing passes to other players and I think if he really has big influence on improvement of Manchester United, he will definitely will be permanent at the current club but I think Fiorentina also doesn't want to lose if they know that Soyan Amrabat has made a good contribution at Manchester United, they will definitely make an offer at a very high price.
But it won't be problem to make this player permanent if he really performs well in every match. Manchester United can afford to pay this player.

Gattuso becoming coach at Marseille will be Gattuso's third adventure in Europe's top league after coaching Milan and Napoli in Serie A and Valencia in Laliga, although he didn't last long and is now in Marseille Ligue 1
Gattuso is known for his tough and disciplined coaching style which I think will suit Marseille but it depends on how he interacts with the players, technical staff and club management and of course the Marseille fans who are known to be fanatical. In addition, he must have the ability to identify problems that led to previous poor results and work with the team to fix them.
Therefore, it is important to give Gennaro Gattuso a chance to prove himself at Marseille before making a final assessment on whether he is the ideal coach for Marseille.

Gennaro Gattuso had horribly spell with clubs like Napoli and Valencia, complete two leagues around Europe and he is yet to get a good coaching job done. I will not want to get him compared but Xabi Alonso has done a better coaching job than he's done than that of Gennaro Gattuso in the last two clubs he has managed.

This term with Marseille I am backing him to get all his wrongs from the previous clubs right. He is still not looking to be the perfect man for the job. Seen him during Napoli and Valencia but let us be positive for once he does breathtaking job.
I have so much respect for Gennaro Gattuso right from the days he was a player.  He was a very strong and rugged midfielder who was well-loved by his clubs (especially AC Milan) and country.  As a player, the Italian has won the Champions League, Coppa Italia, Serie A title, Italian Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and UEFA Supercups. However, he has failed to replicate this performance in his coaching career. He had a fairly successful career in Napoli, although he was sacked after a few months. But he attracted and bought some of the best players Napoli can currently boast of. He had a very bad time in Valencia where he was sacked when the club was in 14th position.

Marseille is not in very bad shape at least they are in the 8th position but their 4-0 loss to PSG was a little bit embarrassing.  He is a good coach who has good relationships with his players. I was surprised that Gattuso who was an aggressive player became very soft to his players. I wish him success in his new assignment in Ligue 1.

@CryptopreneurBrainboss what happened with Victor was disgusting and very bad and now I’m hoping that he can sue them for a big amount or the club tears his contract so he can move to a better club who’ll respect him. Lastly Real Madrid, Chelsea, PSG are the favourites to get him but I won’t be surprised if Arsenal also target him as they also could use a striker like him.

Victor Osimhen has to leave Napoli if he wants to enjoy football. It is clear that if he fails to score in a few games, the club media team will do more harm. He is also having an unhealthy relationship with coach Rudi Garcia, so he might never be respected like Luciano Spalletti. If he gets a good offer, it will be better to move to England where the league has better administration.

In my opinion, Gennaro Gattuso has quite a lot of experience and has several achievements. Previously, he was a player at AC Milan and succeeded in bringing Milan to win the Champions League in 2002 and many other titles. I don't think it's wrong to try Gennaro Gattuso to become a coach. Marseille because we all don't know what Gennaro Gattuso's coaching style and strategy are like.
We will see the progress of the Marseille club in League 1 because we all know that Marseille is not in good condition. In 5 matches, Marseille can only win 1x and only get 9 points.
Even though they are in bad condition, Marseille is still in the middle of the standings and hopefully Marseille's performance will not decline further with the arrival of new coach Gennaro Gattuso.

Marseille's players must be having a strong mentality when he was coaching the club. Gattuso was a coach that was always pressuring his team. I don't even know what kind of motivation owned by marseille to recruit him as a new coach but gattuso was a flop in serie a. As you said that above, if he has been failed many times in managing serie a clubs. It looked like so weird to see gattuso become a new appointment for marseille. There have been many great coaches than him.
Gattuo may make the team become even worst. Im doubting the performance from marseille under him. The management took wrong decision to sign him but let's give him a try.

I also think Marseille could get a new coach who might suit them better. Gattuso has a tough way of coaching, it's almost the same as when he played when he was still a professional player. he is full of temperament, it can make a player stronger, but on the contrary it can also destroy a team's game.
because Marseille have done it and I'm sure they took the decision with full consideration. just hope Marseille will be stronger this season.

Cucurella's recent form hasn't been great, mainly because he hasn't played any matches in the Premier League this season. However, Cucurella is a versatile player, and Real Madrid's management recognizes that. Moreover, Real Madrid is facing significant issues in defense, and it seems Chelsea is also open to facilitating his departure.

Cucurella is a talent, just forget about the awful season he had at Chelsea last season because the whole squad was messed up. Anybody that watch him during his breakout season at Brighton knows the talent cucurella is when he plays under a manager that knows what he's doing and have all the department sorted out, cucurella talent will be uncovered. He shouldn't decline the move to Real Madrid if it finally comes for him because I don't think he has a career at Chelsea anymore not after chilwell has been made assistant captain and will be favorite to start ahead of him. Unless chilwell gets injuired that's when Cucurella will be given an opportunity so in January if Real Madrid comes knocking, he should leave to get into a team that are capable of winning games and trophy.
Certainly, I completely agree with that. Cucurella is a talented player, but unfortunately, he had a forgettable season at Chelsea. Most opinions suggest that we shouldn't sign Cucurella, but they might not be fully aware of how he performs. The evidence is that he played an excellent match at right-back against Brighton last night.
It is true that Gattuso has some weaknesses in his track record as a football club coach, and his very temperamental personality and easily agitated nature can be factors that influence team dynamics. However, you need to remember that each coach has his own advantages and disadvantages in managing strategies within his squad. Maybe Marseille sees Gattuso's potential or characteristics which are considered to be in line with the club's vision and strategy. Sometimes, people can grow and develop from past experiences, and Gattuso may have a chance to prove himself at Marseille to develop and provide good coaching instructions in every game. Hopefully they can bring the club to success in the future.
Every coach has their strengths and weaknesses, and Gattuso is no exception. I believe that Gattuso is well-suited for implementing a "possession game" style. Expertise can be acquired and developed, but one's personality is something that cannot be changed. I genuinely admire Gattuso's character.
