Chelsea's performance was not pretty and it was also missing a lot of chances. This is the main problem that needs to be solved soon. The club was performing so badly and this is the main problem. Pchettino needs to find a solution to beat it in the second leg.
Honestly it has become obvious that Chelsea is no longer fit on this season because seeing them losing the match they should have an upper chance of wining makes me think if is actually the Chelsea I use to no because the kind of matches they are losing this season is unlike them, imagine there poor performance on this there match against Middlesbrough on EFL Cup semifinals, Chelsea had the opportunity of wining Middlesbrough but could not utilize the opportunity, they dominated the match right from beginning with 72 percent possession while Middlesbrough was just 28 percent possession, it was really unfortunate for them on that match, so perhaps I think there coach should really try and identify the areas they are having difficulties, in other for them to have it fixed because is really annoying witching Chelsea playing like a club that doesn't have a target.

Manchester City are no longer the powerhouse we saw dominate the premier league for four seasons in a row. Losing Mahrez, Gundogan, e.t.c really affected the team’s performance this season because Manchester City were playing better than they are performing now without the departed players. I am looking forward to one or two additions this January for Manchester City to boost the team’s competitiveness.
In fact, I don't see a setback in Manchester City game regarding the departure of Gundogan and Mahrez because Pep Guardiola has players who are able to cover the gaps left by these two players. But they lost their concentration in the previous few matches, I think they missed Kevin de Bruyne because he is the more influential player in the Manchester City team.

Meanwhile, the January transfer window is underway, let's see if Pep Guardiola will recruit several players to help him bring Manchester city back to being champions this season. Currently there are two new players who have joined Manchester City, including Claudio Echeverri and Finlay Gorman, but these two players are still quite young and may be a priority for the upcoming seasons.

I think if you know Manchester City and Pep Guardiola you should give more chances to this team. because Manchester City got a miracle like Guardiola in this team they can definitely have a high chance of winning the league even after the gap they have with the first pale the table.
We should not forget Manchester City could win the premier league in the last season even after the weeks of Arsenal being in the first place and there's still the cache to see the same thing.

Chelsea lost to Middlesbrough in the EFL cup. Ouch! Cole Palmer missed a sitter. Chelsea just cant get things right this season.

Four good chances to be converted by Cole Palmer in the first but he failed to do that, it was sad to see how he never had them anymore,  finally its a moral lesson for everyone.

You have to blame the coach who is in control if they can't get a good results from this season also.
Pochettino Is also a better coach  than Potter who sank the blues in a deep oceans and wasn't able to get them back up. He will not he sacked but should take his job seriously. Arsenal needs a hit man to score for them.

Honestly that was the worst I have seen from Cole Palmer this season, I wasn't sure if it was him all these while in that game, like what really went wrong with him in that game? I hate to see him play as a false 9 and Pochettino is good at gambling with games, I mean how can you have a number 9 (Broja) and you're trying to do some silly experiment? No matter how small the competition is he (Pochettino) was suppose to come out with his best. Why on Earth was Broja on the bench? This was the same gambling he normally does when he was at Tottenham.
If Chelsea continues like this I don't see them going far in any competition they're in.
Fine Palmer made a huge mess by missing 4 good chances but as a coach he was suppose to take out Madueke bring in Mudryk right from the first half, and maybe bring in Broja and take out Palmer and I believe he would have gotten a goal to level the game up. Well is just a shame, the Blues played pretty bad and if they play the way they did against Middlesbrough I don't see them winning their next EPL game.
For the record Pochettino is some how letting us know that he's confused and without him knowing what to do is like Potter in disguise.

Chelsea lost to Middlesbrough in the EFL cup. Ouch! Cole Palmer missed a sitter. Chelsea just cant get things right this season.
It's still leg 1, there will be another chance for chelsea to win the game as long as the club will able to make more than 1 goals against middlesbourg in the second leg. So, chelsea needs to learn from the mistake being made in the first leg.
As you can see that chelsea got impressire stats but finishing once again becomes the main problem of chelsea that may be preventing the club on the second leg. The first leg was happening again and losing 1 goal can still be tolerated by the fans.
The different thing when it comes to the losing a lot of goals in a short time. Chelsea can make its comeback at the secondleg. This is another chance for chelsea to get into the next round.

Overall Chelsea was better in this match but they cannot score a goal against a team that is a league lower then them. This is worrying because how can you expect from them to do anything big in the premier league. I think they will even struggle in the second leg aswell, because their opponent will probobly park the bus.

While there is still time for Manchester City to recover and maintain their position, we should also consider the possibility of other clubs winning the league this season, because, for Manchester City, I don't think it will work. It could bring a different dynamic and add to the sporting excitement of football.
Man City's strength has really dropped drastically due to the number of injured players, especially as some of them are key players and basically the brains of Man City's game. Well, for now, most of them have recovered and are ready to strengthen the team again. Even though it might not be as good or awesome as before, I'm sure they can still bring Man City to improve its performance well. Moreover, Man City still has 1 match that they have not played compared to other top clubs. So if you win, the distance between the points and the top standing club will be smaller. but indeed, the struggle will definitely be more difficult and will not be so easy. So, what is certain is that the EPL will become even more interesting this season.

It seems Tottenham is not going to give up easily and they are even trying to have more players and more chances for the title of this season. Tottenham bought a new player, Timo Werner the German player from Leipzig joined Tottenham officially and he is going to help them to race in the premier league.
Timo Werner is going to play for Tottenham on loan however he also had offers from Manchester United.
Even though Tottenham bought more talented players in this transfer market and they can really improve their performance in the future, I'm not sure if they can achieve their goal of winning the EPL title this season. This is not something easy because Tottenham's rivals are Liverpool, Aston Villa, Man City, and also Arsenal who are in the top position, which in fact they have a stronger and more solid squad at the moment. So, what is possible is if Tottenham can get into the top 3 or 4 then they can enter the ULC qualifications next season. And this can be a business that requires a lot of effort. We all know how tough the competition is in the EPL. So of course it is not only Tottenham who will improve their squad in this transfer market, but also other clubs.

Manchester City is the leading team to win the championship trophy this season, although currently they are still behind Liverpool and Aston Villa in the standings table, but I think Manchester City will return to leading the standings in the next few matches. Now what the competing teams have to focus on is maintaining their consistency in every match they play. Like Liverpool, they look very ready to become champions this season, but they have to see that the road to becoming champions is still quite long, so they must not lose points in every match they play because it will have fatal consequences if that happens.

Regardless of what it is,  we must take note of the fact that no champion reigns for ever and for Manchester City,  the club have really tried to have creates a record of consecutive winning the trophy, which is something that we need to commend them for,  and since we understand how football works,  we have to accept the current condition of Manchester City and now that they are struggling even with the smallest clubs shows that a lot has changed for Manchester City in this season.

Although Manchester City still has some good time to recover and maintain its position,  but also we have to look at the possibility of other clubs winning the league also in this season,  maybe,  that will speak more of sportive vibes in football.

You're absolutely right that no champion can reign forever but will just last for some time and leave the space for others to also shine. Although everyone knows that Manchester City has indeed achieved an impressive record of consecutive trophy wins, it is commendable and also has a good reputation in football. However, it is also true that this season has been very challenging for Manchester City, as they have struggled even against smaller clubs. Which makes people think that the team's getting weaker. Although football can be unpredictable, it's important to accept the current condition of Manchester City.

These are all important things you mentioned, the performance doesn't always coincide with the results. But in the case of Arsenal the problem is that they didn't lose one game or weren't successful two games or so. They have had a series of games now that ended with a bad result. It begs the question whether they are just not lucky enough, always performing well and yet don't win or whether they have an issue that must be resolved? If coincidence repeats itself numerous times, I think as per definition it isn't called coincidence anymore.
What happened to Arsenal was of course that they were quite weak on their front line. If they had a striker like Harry Kane of course they could overcome their weaknesses, but in reality they don't have a striker who is truly productive in scoring goals. Gabriel jesus is certainly a good quality player but he doesn't have good enough productivity to keep scoring goals.

For this reason, I think Arteta must buy a high-quality striker in this transfer market. He must close the gaps in the team if he wants to bring Arsenal to the championship this season. Other teams have players who are very fertile in scoring goals, such as Liverpool which has Salah and Manchester City which has Haaland. If arteta is interested in osimhen he should send an offer to napoli because chelsea also wants to sign osimhen.

I know Aston Villa are performing well this season but I don't think they will be winning the Premier League this season. It is not that easy. Manchester City is back in their form and Liverpool are looking as sharp as they were at the starting of the season. I think it's about time that Manchester City will take over Aston Villa in the Points table. They dropped a few points recently, losing to a struggling Manchester United. And if they were to win the Premier League, they would not have dropped points there.  Manchester City has 2 points less than them while playing 1 match less.

So basically since Aston Villa couldn’t beat Manchester United they can’t be title contenders? See I don’t also think Aston Villa are ready just yet to win a league due to their squad lacking Talisman and a proper depth but losing to Manchester United shouldn’t be a yard stick to measure that. Manchester City were beaten twice last season by Brentford and yet they won the league comfortably. Aston Villa are off the title race for me because I think with the European competitions they have and with the lack of quality just not too many yet in the squad they wouldn’t be able to handle the pressure.

"without" or "with" ?? I think there's some sort of contradictions there... But it's fine anyways.

For me, I think this should be one of the best seasons for them - Mahrez was actually a junk player in there since he was barely given enough playtime..Maybe for the fact that he's African? Guardiola knows best... But I think having Alvarez and Grealish both paired would improve the effectiveness on the flanks.. it all depends on the formation though - a standard 4-3-3 formation would also link them both, allowing debryune and halland to communicate directly.

Sandra 🧑‍🦰

Mahrez a junk player? He was actually the second highest goal scorer last season after Halaand he had issues with Pep and that’s why he was dropped to the bench. Pep always has that problem that whenever they switch to another player they completely do not give time to the other and that’s why Mahrez left. City last season were better than this current one, they were the likes of Gundogan who can actually influence the game when they come on with their creativity,

Arsenal has had a very poor performance in the Premier League lately, the poor form has made Liverpool be at the top of the Premier League table. If Arsenal fails to sign a striker who will help them win matches, Arsenal might not qualify for the Champions League because they lack who will score goals for them.
Don't include the signing of a striker in Arsenal's present problems; they've been through a lot. On a more serious note, if the team's performance is balanced, why are they losing matches? Watching Arsenal games, it's clear that they're doing everything they can to win, but it doesn't matter how competent a team is; what matters is how available and consistent they are in achieving positive results. Arsenal's performance does not coincide with the desired outcome from the coach and supporters, who frown anytime their side does not perform well.
I would not blame the fans or coach when they frown because inasmuch as the Arsenal team has been consistent among the top five English teams, they have failed to win the league even when they get so close.

The team right now is just having difficulty in finding the back of net, perhaps due to fatigue from the build up of fixtures across various league board.
If Arteta were to sign a striker or creative midfielder who can dribble and find spaces like Saka, Gabriel, the team would have a new upsurge of strength and motivation to finish strong. They can still recover.

Arsenal are currently getting poor results which I admit is embarrassing for a side that showed so much promise at the beginning of the season but this is the game and things like this happen all the time. Luckily for them, we are already in the January transfer window, Arteta needs to add some crucial signings that will make quick impact as soon as possible and get the team back to winning ways again. This is one of those times the fans need to support and encourage the their team and players to keep fighting.

But you could see that coming not only in the last five games, but in the few games before already. It started when they had the close game against Wolverhampton when they had plenty of chances to finish the game early, but they didn't and Wolverhampton closed the gap shortly before the game ended and then had a chance to tie the game, but Arsenal won. Then they had the game against Luton Town where they scored the winning goal in the 97th minute and conceded 3 goals against Luton Town. Afterwards they lost against Aston Villa and then their performance went South. Since then they had lots of issues they couldn't get under control. But who knows maybe they used the time properly now to attack in the Premier League again.

In my opinion, Man City is still a team that needs to be taken into account as before because last season Man City was also behind Arsenal in the first half of the season but when they entered the second half of the season Man City started to recover and were able to catch up on points from Arsenal which in the end they won the title. EPL at that time.

I see that Man City this season is also like last season, especially since the players are genius, the heart of Man City's attack creator, Kevid De Bruney, is back, even his comeback has had a positive impact on the Man City squad of course. I dare say, if Kevid De Bruney had been at Man City's training session, Liverpool's position at the top of the standings would have been shaken.
