The first map was won by Team Falcons so as my bet and I think that I'll take a gamble with the 5.00 odds of Heroic for the 2nd map. So wish me luck.

I dont know what kind of sorcery did you use to even predict this but Heroic ended up winning. What the heck just happened lol. Im glad that I didnt make any live bet because my brain was totally telling me to go for 3-0 on Falcons after they won the 1st map
Hahaha, I didn't used any sorcery but just an actual thought of gambling with that odds. Whenever the odds seems high, that's attractive to me and I just place my bet on it.  Grin
To be honest, that's also my initial thought that it's going to be a Team Falcons game and likely to be 3-1 or 3-0. But then after the 2nd map, that's when I think that it's possible for Heroic to win the series.

After the game ended, the camera was shifted to Falcons player's face and all 5 of them was dumb strucked LOL. I cant recall the last time SA team win anything since last year but they finally win something. This is going to be an exciting year for dota2 pro scene for sure
I think this is the first time that an SA team won a major, CMIIW. And I like on how they're able to beat Team Falcons. With all of the trashtalks that malrine and ATF have done in the past, it all reflected back to them.  Tongue

So aside from disappointing turn against Heroic, that's another factor for them to realize.

Insane comeback from Navi against Heroic at RIO with a BO5 grand final but I really cannot understand how Navi managed to pull such a comeback from being down 10-1 in 3rd map to win 13-11...and the curious thing about this is comebacks have become something normal for Navi no matter the score. I'm also happy for my romanian player of navi IM who once again proved to be such a skilled player and won that 1 vs 1 clutch that won the map.  Cool

Mouz does it again for you! Grin

IEM Rio 2024 Grand Finals is set to begin right now in this best of 5 with Navi vs MOUZ!

I had Furia to win atleast a map but they got their asses handed to them in their own home country of Brazil by the underdogs this whole tournament MOUZ.

If they can win this against Navi then that would solidify them as pure contenders in CS going forward.

I really enjoy PGL Wallachia Season 2 so far but I really want to see Heroic winning map 2 against Falcons and push the series for 3 maps and maybe with a bit of luck Heroic can take the entire series.
Yesterday, they were on the upper bracket finals but Heroic lost against Team Falcons. And still Heroic was able to make it against Tundra in the lower bracket and they've won. So, we're now on map 2 in the grand finals with Heroic and Team Falcons again. The first map was won by Team Falcons so as my bet and I think that I'll take a gamble with the 5.00 odds of Heroic for the 2nd map. So wish me luck.

Game 2 has ended for beastcoast and Tundra, it was an intense match. The leading team was beastcoast and they are just about to end the game  but they just can't. 33 was freaking genius. Those familiars of his really delayed the game and he literally lifted the game. I can't explain further words on how the map 2 ended, I advise you to watch the replay of it and it was Tundra that won so it's now 1-1. One more game and my bet will be concluded if bc wins.
Good luck for you if Beastcoast decides to step it up and finally beat Tundra.
So are they just finishing up in this tournament for their semi-finals so to have a grand finals soon?
My beastcoast bet with Tundra lost, and that match was in the lower bracket so it's like a do or die match for both. Anyway, the tournament has been concluded and Heroic was the champ for PGL Wallachia Season 2 won, it's another SA team from which beastcoast is where from.

It was unfortunate that Eternal Fire underperformed that day similar to how they took out G2 the other day. I agree that Vitality could easily lose to Mouz after their shaky performance against Heroic in the upper bracket final.

Yes, I really don't get how we can be this inconsistent.  Sad  We really destroyed G2 on both maps. People expected this to be a big boost but unfortunately it was the opposite.

Watched abit of these matches on and off because of end of the work week is always hectic for myself.
Was seeing Vitality storming back but unfortunately MOUZ got the best of them in the end.
So not taking that risk would of cost you a pretty penny at those odds. Cheesy

There we have it!
Mouz vs Furia and Navi vs Heroic down in Rio for the IEM semi-finals,

I turned out to be right about taking that risk with MOUZ.  Grin  Because Vitality looked really unstable recently. I can't say MOUZ beat them in an embarrassing way but they deserved it undoubtedly.

As for my picks today... NaVi @1.32 and FURIA @2.10. I think FURIA have been playing really impressive. They already beat MOUZ once in Group A. Why wouldn't we see another time?  Smiley

Also massive prompts for Navi with Puppey and BZM as they are my favorites to win the entire thing and that is the case we might look at the new Navi or Team Secret but this depends of what Puppey wants to do with Secret as so far he is still looking for members as he said it in a recent interview.  Grin

IEM Rio is getting more excited in time. We are in the single elimination stage...

Vitality and NaVi both surprised me by not qualifying for the semi finals directly. HEROIC and FURIA beat them previously. But the more interesting part was to see FaZe saying goodbye much earlier. They are really away from their good days seemingly.

I got really sad with Eternal Fire's being eliminated by The MongolZ in lower semi finals too.  Sad  They even beat us on the maps that we were normally the best. Maybe it was due to complacency, I don't know...

Anyway today there are 2 matches as you can see in the image above. Vitality @1.40 and NaVi @1.22 for the win. However I would rather take a risk on one of them. Probably it would be MOUZ @2.70.  Tongue

Watching some of the Worlds Swiss stage day 7 with G2 vs T1 round 4 on their LoL Esports channel right now.
Looks like G2 is getting curb stomped by T1 as game 1 just ended.
G2 tried putting up a fight in game two as they had the better draft, but T1's execution was just better, and they couldn't close it out after losing out on the minor objectives.

We almost got the spicy rematch between ATF and Sonneiko, but Nouns probably had enough of the drama and reverse swept Avulus sending them to the lower bracket.  Tongue
~

This drama woke me up in a different platform and we know the behavior of ATF in the pub he's one of the player keep annoying and tilts others by doing trash-talk and Sonneiko makes this personal because upon on the tournament he walks to ATF just to trying to take him down base on the twitter post and the fun part here is also Quinn makes a comment on it and they RTZ makes a reply because we know Quinn came from sea and easily tilt on his game play. Currently, they are now good but of course, dota is never been more fun if people gives more spieces on the game.

Beastcoast played well against Team Falcons and forced a third map. They nearly threw the second map away when the team fights got sloppy in the rosh pit and almost made me believe that Team Falcons would complete the comeback when they started taking the barracks.

Worlds 2024 also continued yesterday, with both TES and HLE winning their series to secure their playoff spot. Flyquest surprisingly stole a map against HLE and this series should've been one sided when HLE's odds to sweep the series were less than 1.20~ while their moneyline was 1.01.
Is it even worth it to bet on a team in League if their odds are so low?
I know many times in CS I would bet on a team with 1.01x odds where they were leading 11-3 on a map and it would all fall apart.
In CS this always happens and it is common to happen to even the best of the teams.

Going to get back to European Pro League Season 16 of season 21 where Navi Junior vs L&G where they were 11-6 and now 12-11 and the casters are preparing for OT. Cheesy

Well, whoever made the bracketing, they'd probably made that so close for ATF and Sonneiko's match up that's so close if Avulus just won. But anyway, thanks to uncle Kuroky as he's fixed the gap between the two.

Watching the NaVi and Infinity, it's 1-0 for Infinity and I have bet for the match winner - NaVi. Hopefully, the bounce back on map 2.

Intel Extreme Master (IEM) Rio day three is coming to an end and there were two major upsets with Navi being blanked by FURIA and Heroic doing the exact same to Vitality.
MOUZ is currently leading Faze in the third map so they just might be the next team to upset one of the favorites today.

The tournaments Grand Final is on this Sunday:

Got 1-0 yesterday and 1-1 today so in total, 2-1.  Undecided

This is it for today and tomorrow I might bet again for the remaining games for this groupstages.

And as an update these are the teams that have got in and eliminated from this PGL Wallachia Season.

Green ones are guaranteed to the playoffs and likely upper bracket for those that have earlier got in.
Red ones are eliminated.
The rest are still waiting and you get the idea.

Sadly, with Nigma Galaxy and Infinity the game just ended and the latter took the series. Good luck to us with that match of L1ga and beastcoast. And it's about to start in a few just after the first match. Last game with be with mouz and nouns, I have avoided to bet on that game, I'm no longer confident about these two teams but I am mostly betting with mouz lately but I guess that I'm tired with them anymore.
I took the wrong side as both of them lost and i'm glad they both lost because i'd be annoyed if Nigma Galaxy was the only leg that fell short.

Infinity's support hard carried them in that third map, their Tusk was always quick in kicking one core after another with the Walrus kick from the hero's scepter upgrade and Nigma Galaxy couldn't find any answer against it.
I agree, it's more disappointing if Infinity gets in while Nigma gets eliminated. And for that 3rd map, it was unexpected and I think that they really cannot think of any resolve to that annoying strat of tusk.

Sadly, with Nigma Galaxy and Infinity the game just ended and the latter took the series.

Too much expectation that I put on Nigma and I ended up dissapointed as usual. I actually dont really put that high expectation on them since they were not even serious on this tournament by arriving late thus losing the first game but I saw their game against BC and yeah I was expecting them to lose but they won so yeah I thought to myself that they could do it this time but they sucks so bad

Im not really expecting them to win this tournament but atleast its just sad to watch them kept losing on group stage
That's okay.
We're just fans that have been hoping for king to have a comeback. But I guess that this concludes that they truly are past their primes.

After their decent run in one of the WEU qualifiers, we can't help but have high expectations for them knowing their roster now has what it takes to beat decent teams like OG.
