Afghanistan bowlers were fully prepared for this match because from some of the previous games, Afghanistan felt a sense that they might lose 1 or 2 matches in between but at the end of the day they won all of the games except the first T20I match.
Afghanistan bowling lineup always show standard performance. Their performance is quite good in most of the matches. I think Afghanistan was expecting to win all the matches, they weren't worrying to lose any matches. I expect them to win the last match very easily too. Zimbabwe hardly managed to win the first T20 match. Their batting lineup had also collapsed in the first ODI match which has been cancelled for rain.
Zimbabwe's performance in the second ODI doesn't look like they will be able to win the third ODI. Having been bowled out for just 54 runs, the team does not seem to be able to easily win the third ODI match. Moreover, Afghanistan's batting and bowling line-up is strong enough due to which Zimbabwe cannot control Afghanistan's score. In the second ODI match, Afghanistan scored 286 runs while Zimbabwe were bowled out for just 54 runs and were defeated by a huge margin of 232 runs. Zimbabwe won the first T20 match but failed to win the next two T20 matches. The first ODI match was abandoned due to rain but in the second ODI match Afghanistan beat Zimbabwe by a big margin that means the third ODI match is no option for Zimbabwe because if they win it will be a draw for now but can Zimbabwe do it?

Yes, South Africa also went a long way in winning this match but they could not hold on to their wickets, I could not have imagined that some of their wickets would fall so quickly. That is why I think South Africa did not win a match that was supposed to be won. If someone like Heinrich Klaasen could have held on his wickets , South Africa would have gone a long way in winning this match, but that was not possible. When wickets fall quickly, the pressure on good batsmen increases, which is why they lose their wickets quickly. As happened to a player like David Miller. If he could have played big shorts, he could have performed better.

Pakistan proved a strong team by winning 2 odi games out of 2 with amazing gameplay. The 2nd match between Pakistan and South Africa was played game at Newlands, Cape Towm stadium. South Africa won the toss and elected to fielding first. Pakistan set a record  total runs for 329 and wining the match. South Africa lost game and chased a record total runs for 248. I hope South Africa team they will play better in the futures matches. Pakistan team players dominate the match with their aggressive and cautious gameplay. Pakistan played a good match their performance was very impressive just like first match. They should excellent teamwork and skill on the field. Pakistan won by 81 runs. The best batting performance in the Pakistan team was by kamran Ghulam scored 63 runs and 32 balls hitting 4 fours and 5 sixs. Congratulations to Pakistan for their upcoming matches.
Yeah, Pakistan won two games consistently without any losing game their effort in T20 series was not good and they already won odi series but I am wasting for wash out. South Africa team did not play good and lost two games easily. In 2nd game, south Africa was showed poor effort in bowling and Pakistan set a competitive runs 329 in 50 overs by losing all wickets. Babar played quite well after long time and he scored 77 runs in 95 balls.  Rizwan and Kamran both also helped a lot team to win game and Rizwan made 80 runs in 82 balls and hitted seven 4s and three 6s. Kamran got a player of game award because his effort was really mind blowing and he made 63 runs in 32 balls and hitted four 4s and five 6s. South Africa team lost game ans failed to chase all runs and lost by 81 big margin runs. congratulations Pakistan team to win 2 nd game.

None of Pakistan's players could score a century, but due to the good performance of all, Pakistan was able to accumulate 329 runs against South Africa in the first innings.
329 runs is definitely enough to win and Pakistan have secured victory in this match against South Africa. Pakistan's victory in the first ODI match Pakistan's big win against South Africa in the second ODI match, that is, Pakistan sealed the series against South Africa with one match in hand.
However, except for one South African batsman, if everyone had played with responsibility in this match, South Africa's score could have been higher, but it did not happen.

Scoring 329 against South African bowlers such as Marco Jansen, Kwena Maphaka and Tabraiz Shamsi by itself is an achievement. And an added sweetener is that this happened at the Newlands stadium, which is quite supportive of the bowlers normally. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan set the foundation for Pakistan, but if not for big hits from Kamran Ghulam towards the end Pakistan would have struggled to cross 300. For South Africa, Bjorn Fortuin was the only bowler who had a decent economy rate.

I am very surprised to see the performance of Pakistan in this series that Pakistan has won 2 matches of this series which is against South Africa and South Africa is also a good team but they can't put the match and pressure which they have.  Will defeat due to reason.  If we look at Pakistan, their batsmen have scored 329 runs in 50 overs, which is a target set by very few teams.  In taking wickets, because their bowler had dismissed the entire team in the 44th over, if the entire team had not been dismissed, they could have lost the match.  The next match of this series is to whitewash South Africa by winning Pakistan.

Zimbabwe was not making a good start. Losing wickets after every other over, that left them nowhere but to get all out at 54. However, after seeing the first innings, everyone knew that Zimbabwe would lose the match but not in this bad way.

Talking about Afghanistan, they give a huge target of 286 runs and in these runs, there was a big hand of their openers. Sediqullah Atal who got a century and his partner Abdul Malik scored 84. Fazalhaq Farooqi bowled very well, picked 2 wickets quickly that helped them a lot.

The match was played in Harare, the next match is also set to be played on the same ground and are we going to see a similar result?

South Africa needs 126 runs from 84 balls to win. South Africa's chances of winning this match are very low.
Right now South Africa need to win by batting in T20 style where they need to collect 125 runs from 80 balls. Heinrich Klassen remains unbeaten on 65 runs but only time will tell if he can be supported by someone at the other end. Marco Jansen could bat well but he can support Heinrich Klassen i.e. the next batsmen are not very experienced so it can be easily assumed that South Africa will not be able to meet the target of 330 runs given by Pakistan i.e. sure defeat.

Pakistan won by 81 runs

South Africa lost this match because of bad batting. If they batted responsibly, South Africa could have won this match. The pitch was not bowling friendly. Pakistan gave a big target. South Africa batted very slowly from the beginning of the match. Except Heinrich Klaasen, no other batsman performed well in this match. Klaasen batted at a strike rate of 131. Moreover, almost every batsman in the South African squad had a strike rate of less than 80. It is not possible to win by batting so slowly against a target of 330 runs.

We have seen bad batting by South Africa in both ODI matches. South Africa failed to perform well against Pakistani bowlers. Shaheen Shah Afridi took 4 wickets and Naseem Shah took 3 wickets. Also, Abrar Ahmed was able to take two wickets.

It was very strange to see that Kamran Ghulam as the player of the match. I know he scored well that has the huge value and impact in the game but Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan performed better than him. It is understandable that Babar and Rizwan used many balls to score and played with low strike rate but if they hadn't made 73 and 80 runs, Pakistan could never have reached 300+ runs. Also, Shaheen Shah Afridi picked 4 wickets he was the more deserving player of the match than Kamran Ghulam.

Both batsmen were playing a good partnership. I was missing Abdullah Shafique, his batting is very good but currently, he is not in form and not performing with consistency but I hope he will recover his form in the next few games. In 9.2 overs in an attempt to make a six, Saim Ayub lost his wicket too. After that it was a show from Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan making a 100+ runs partnership.

In the last match and this time too Abdullah Shafique does not played well and lost his wicket early. Abdullah Shafique is good player no doubt but he needs to perform in every single game to be the part of the team.

When Pakistan were on 5 runs , Abdullah was out and all responsibilities shifted to Saim Ayub and also at the same time, everyone looking on Saim Ayub batting because in the previous game, he scored 100. Saim Ayub was batting in good strength at the early stages of the game and scored 25 in the 31 balls.

Saim Ayub and Agha Salman had to score big in the first match. Although they could not play a big innings in today's match, these two batsmen batted badly. Babar Azam and Rizwan managed to score 73 and 80 runs. However, the most important innings was played by Kamran Ghulam. Ghulam scored 63 runs from just 32 balls.

In the first 10 overs, the Pakistan batsmen were playing in a friendly way with fours and dot balls. They were playing calmfully. Babar Azam firstly understood the pitch and read the boundaries then when the ball was in the slot he go for boundary. While Saim Ayub has just one motive to hit the ball further to get single or double as a part of plan or boundaries.

Today's 2nd ODI match of Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan team has already started. Afghanistan team came out to bat and set a target of 286 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 50 overs. Zimbabwe team came out to bat and scored 54 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 17.5 overs. Afghanistan team did very well in today's match with bowling and batting, due to which they won today's match by 232 runs.
Afghanistan's big win over Zimbabwe is commendable. However, today's match was a one-sided match. Enjoying such a one-sided match shows more annoyance than joy. In my opinion, in today's match, the Zimbabwean players should have batted patiently and reduced the gap a little. If the Zimbabwean players had batted patiently and reduced the gap a little in today's match, then this match would have been worth enjoying a little. The fact that Zimbabwe lost all its wickets for 54 runs in an ODI match is nothing but a joke.

Zimbabwe lost the match as they were playing they deserved to lose. Afghanistan made more than 280 as target then Zimbabwe came to bat and could not even score 70 to 80 runs, all out at 54 only  Shocked

Afghanistan bowlers were fully prepared for this match because from some of the previous games, Afghanistan felt a sense that they might lose 1 or 2 matches in between but at the end of the day they won all of the games except the first T20I match. Sediqullah Atal was named as the player of the match by scoring 104 in 128 balls and he got the reward for his hard work and effort. A new good player for Afghanistan is here.

Although the Pakistani team lost all its wickets, their run-scoring list was quite ahead. Pakistani team players Babar Azam and Rizwan were the first to build a long partnership in today's match, and the next players started performing well. Siam Ayub and Shafiq entered the field as opening batsmen, but they could not last long, but the next pair did well.
Naseem Shah, Shaheen Afridi, Abrar Ahmed, and every bowler performed well. However, the Pakistani team won this match by the largest margin due to the performance of each player in both batting and bowling. The ODI series was won.

Going into this situation, I never thought that the South African team would win, although they lost wickets very quickly in the last over, but besides that, there was no hope of them winning. As you said, if they had played this match thinking of it as a T20, then maybe they had a chance of winning towards the last over, but the Pakistani bowlers did not allow that to happen either. Grin

Anyway, it was good to see Pakistan win two consecutive ODIs against South Africa after a long time. Although I was doubtful whether they would win the first match, but in the second match when I saw their score go above 300, I was a little confident that Pakistan team will win this match. Anyway, there is no room to say that Pakistani bowlers and batsmen played well today in both formats.
To be honest till klassen and miller were on crease at that time I was not sure about Pakistan victory even pakistan has scored 300+, because at that time south African team requirement was 140+ runs on 100 which wasn't a tough Target for them the way these both perform in thier previous matches. also after they build 50 around partnership things were looking completely diverting in thier favor but then after miller and janson departure finally Pakistan back into the game

It's true that after long time Pakistan won back to back matches against south African team in ODI but I think credit will goes to player who played phenomenal also series victory against Australia quite help them alot to get back in form and regain thier confidence right before ODI format champions trophy and I think that's some how reason of thier handsome performances against south Africa
Especially David Miller and Henrik Klaasen staying intact at the wicket is a danger sign against any team especially when their batting becomes aggressive and any kind of big score does not make it difficult to meet the target. In today's match, Henrich Klaasen could support at one end but no one could give support at the other end, as a result, Henrik Klaasen was forced to be all out only because he did not give support despite performing well.

Yes it is true that the combination of Pakistani bowlers and batsmen made it possible to win the ODI series. But at the moment it is not possible to predict whether Pakistan will be able to beat South Africa who are at the top of the Tests. I think even if they win the series in ODIs, Pakistan may not be able to match South Africa in Tests.

South Africa bowler Kwena Maphaka bowled a costly spell giving 72 runs but they picked up 4 important wickets including the crucial wicket of Muhammad Rizwan at 80 runs. South Africa chased the target and lost his 4 wickets at 160 runs in 30 overs. South Africa needs 169 runs from 120 balls to win this match and stay alive in this series. from Pakistan Abrar Ahmad picked two important wickets and Shaheen Shah Afridi and Salam ali agha picked one, one wickets so far. from South Africa Heinrich Klaasen and dangerous David Millar is on the carees. Heinrich Klaasen is playing at 40 runs and David Miller is playing at 15 runs. This fifth wicket partnership is more than the 50 runs and match-winning for South Africa. Pakistani bowlers need to break this partnership if they want to win this match and series. South Africa is the favorite now to win this match because the required run rate is under 10 runs, and Heinrich Klaasen is on form to chase the target.

Heinrich Klaasen is batting brilliantly today. If David Miller had batted well, the match would have been more competitive. Pakistan team was able to give a big target of 330 runs. Kamran Ghulam's performance surprised everyone today. Kamran Ghulam batted very aggressively. Kamran Ghulam was able to score 63 runs from just 32 balls.

South Africa's top order players were batting quite slowly. At the same time, no batsman could play a big innings. Experienced batsman like Miller got out after scoring 29 runs from 39 balls. Heinrich Klaasen is unbeaten after scoring 65 runs from 53 balls. South Africa just lost their sixth wicket. South Africa scored 204 runs in 35.5 overs. South Africa needs 126 runs from 84 balls to win. South Africa's chances of winning this match are very low.
