Main cause of accident is driving over speeding, drive while drunk, overtaking at the left, lack of some roads signs

The common reason of accidents I know is when the driver is sleepy, the break is not working and the most that I hate is when drivers can't leave their faces in front of their phones that will put them them and close to them in the streets prone to danger.

Some causes of accidents/road safety:1) Driver's failure in abiding regulations, maybe they are not aware of the general rules and the safety measures while using the road. 2) Distracted driving, they should have focus all the time while driving 3) Drugs, never drive if you are under the influence of any drug. 4) Animal crossings 5) Construction sites.

hi guys if you dont want to have an car accident dont drive if you drunk wine and if are driving you must know the rules of driving

I think lack of training of the driver and discipline. And some of the driver is drunk,even though they know it's not right because majority of news tells that one of the cause of accident because is the driver is drunk.

I am a new license driver and based on my observations in the road here in our area, many of drivers nowadays are really reckless. They tend to overtake in the wrong way and give full speed especially those who are driving SUV's, they are somewhat boastful just because they use modern and new vehicles they think they own the road already.

I think more than the physical condition of the roads and mechanical aspect of the vehicles is mental health of the drivers. Most of the time accidents happens due to recklessness, alcohol, psychological and other aspects.

The main reason is always the alcohol and people driving under the influence of other drugs too.
I don't understand how a person can get behind a wheel knowing they are not in any capability to do so.

Underage participants.
Overspeed.
Disobeying traffic rules.
Not wearing helmets and seat belt while riding or driving.

Driving without a helmet causes a lot of accidental deaths where I live. And the most tragic part is that the overwhelming majority of such casualties are composed of people in their teens and early 20s. The guys simply refuse to wear the helmets, despite so many awareness campaigns. They say that they would like to show off their skills and the helmet is an obstacle in doing that.

There are so many things that can cause accidents on roads like
.. Distracted Driving. The number one cause of car accidents is not a criminal that drove drunk, sped or ran a red light.
..Over Speeding.
.. Drunk Driving.
..Reckless Driving.
..Rain. Rain can also cause accident, when there is rain,
the weather changed and the driver might not be able to see what's in front and at that time it will be difficult to slow down also.
..Running Red Lights.
..Running Stop Signs.
..Teenage Drivers.

I really hate someone who rides or drives in hurry.
Whatever the reason, they never think that all important reason is their life.
Not only their life, if he struck other vehicle, it can demage many people.
I just thought that why didn't you just go since 5 a.m to take you faster :/
Another reason for road accident is the rider or driver is playing phone. I often see some people do it, it's like they are too busy then having no time to check their phone in tbe right place.
They are less fokus then you know what happen for the next.

I have a family member who is a very inconsiderate person, and because of that I always thought it was dangerous for him to have a car. Not just inconsiderate, but in a sense out of it. No true understanding for the reasons for rules, and just in general anything going on in the world, so I could just imagine him drunk driving without ever giving it any thought.

Here in my country the main cause of accidents is driving even if he/she drunk alcohol, because the effect of alcohol in our body and mind sometimes we dont have control our mind, and we are sleepy thats why some of the drivers accidentally bump. We need to be responsible in driving so that we can prevent accident.

A lot of other reasons of which some are
Bad condition of cars and roads and one major problem is that all the rules are there to help reduce the problem but people don't follow them which is so bad. Also sometimes accidents just happen that we don't have control over

I bet one of the most probable cause of these accidents is the lack of discipline of the drivers and people who carelessly cross highways. it always lies within the discipline of the people. We have to admit that the roads and the signs are not always to blame.
