For me , merit is very effective to prevent many fake accounts in our community. It also helps to further post the postings and prevent lots of spam and untopic comments , Yeah your right its not easily to earn merit . I have many positive posts but im still not get any merit but i think i need more improvements to achieve that.

okay, I agree with your opinion , when I work hard at making quality posts sometimes I realize this is a waste of time because some people do not appreciate

I understand on your situation mate but sometime we need to accept the reality that their is something changing from time to time. As we all know there is no permanent on this world which we need to aware on what is happening here in the forum. Also, you are not the one who aim to have merit here likewise those who are people deserve much more merit that you expected.

No it's not wrong. Merit should be given to qualified people. Merit is checked and forum rubbish remains free. And those who get Merit in it will be able to work well.

why can not it be fair? I personally think it's very fair because at this time if there is no merit rules this forum seems to be broken because there is a new member who just want to raise the rankings but do not have good quality to get ranking rankings, and now to rise the ranking requires a very good merit to control the increase in rankings.

I think this advantage mechanism is not perfect, not to say the advantage is not good.

I find it strange that many people don't post high quality posts and get a +10.

I hope that the novice can be treated equally, and I know that many high-ranking members still have some low quality issues.

I agree, that merit system is unfair for the newbies, because the merit system works with other people, based on how they like your post. But how about the newbies, as far as i know signature campaigns are much more rarely giving some slots for members below because of their ranks. Simply, i say that merit system is unfair because some people does not have much friend that is using bitcointalk and some people are so selfish to give some merits, so how come that they can even ranked up

no its not. ive seen so many newbies that still manage to rank up despite these new system that theymos have been implemented on which is the merrit system. Yet i do also find it hard and frustrating to my side because i guess i will be stuck forever in this current rank of my mine. i cant possibly expect to taste the feeling of having a higher rank. but overall , i sometimes do my best in order to improve my post quality just to get a couple of merrits but i guess im too unlucky to have one.

He's right, eventhough we're having hard time getting merit it is good for us to post good things, without merit all the spam and nonsense post is getting higher and bigger. It got to a point that the garbage posts being posted on the forum each and every time was becoming annoying and appalling.

The good thing is that merit system has changed a lot of things, and I see people who beg for merit anyway as those who are just here not mainly for what they want to contribute but what they just want to earn and that is why a lot of users will end up abandoning their alts account for that reason leaving the forum with quality users.

Merit system is made to improve everyones posting capability. This forum is invaded with people without any knowledge about cryptocurrency and topics are sometimes not good because of these newbies, and to stop them from ranking up merit system is implemented.

You are right thay Merit system caused difficulties for the new members but it also good chance for new members to be a quality posters.You said that your post quality is good but still no one give you merit, in this matter i completely disagreed with you beacsuse many of people opend ann thread for give the merits.so if you think that your post quality is very good then you can post your links on that thread and get the merits.

Merit will be only unfair if you have multiple accounts because ti was really hard now a days to rank up your account. But if you are going to compare your low account to those high ranks then it might be really unfair because earning a huge amount of merits is really taking time.

Even in the service section there are many threads that aim to give sMerit without having to do quality posts, in fact it proves if Merit is not really given to users who have quality posts. So, so far it looks like the merit system is not good in my opinion.

Merit system is really difficult to have and be rewarded. Most member here are not giving away their merits and I feel stuck into member rank though my posts are in quality, I think so. I hope that many members here would give away their merits especially those with higher ranks.

This will dramatically reduce the influx of participants in the campaign bounty, and thus increase the value and rewards of members of this "club."

Merit is unfair in a way that it is hard to own it. What they say it needs quality post, but I think its not only quality post because as what had experienced it base on how many friends you have who can give merit to you. People is focusing more on their own which can lead them not to read some post thats why merit can't easily be given. You will find ways it will be read to someone.
