We cant really deny the fact that some people are too selfish and ignoring some good post quality which do deserves a merit but they do decide on not to give it at all.We cant do anything about this and also having no friend isn't really a valid indication to rely on where you can have a source of merit.You might get some but you should think for longer aspect.Piece of advice,you should do your job on contributing into this forum without minding too much on leveling up because merits will eventually comes in without you awareness.

Ahhh.... talk about merit again... I've forgotten about merit here. Just read, learn, and post something good in every thread. Let see what will happen . If you have no merit, just share a positive thing. It's enough!

Sharing good thing is virtue as well so it is good to be positive, if you will share your good experience about bitcoin it will encourage more people to involve bitcoin and you will be able to be a source to raise bitcoin price in our daily retinue. People will use bitcoin more than before for high price of profit, so with time I think bitcoin merit is increasing but it will never decrease or it will not be end until people will keep on investing, merit is going to be high mate get the chance and buy bitcoin.

I also agree with you, Merits makes us to be a good one in this form, it help us to be more positive and being constructive in posting. It also help to avoid spammers that uses multiple accounts to rank up.

Though this "multiple account users" are earning a lot of digits just by joining Bounty Campaigns on Alternetive Cryptocurrency Section. Spamming won't be stopped unless the forum stop the usage of Signatures, that seems impossible to happen.

Instead of whining about the new system, make yourself worthy of the Merits that will be given unto you in the near future.

I know that some of you guys agree that having merit points in order to rank up is what's best for this forum and for us, users to avoid and lessen spammers spamming messages, yes I know that that is the intention of this merit system but the thing is, not all good quality posts here are given merit points. I agree that it is so hard to rank up now that we do have merit system. Some posts are not given merits no matter how good and constructive it is, and there are still spammers anywhere, they do not rank up as well as those people who are trying their best in order to construct good quality posts, we are both left behind by those people whose posts are given attention and are receiving merit points.

If you think it clearly you will realize why the forums needs this merit system. As you can see there were people who creates multiple account and this would be the best action to do to control ranking up of accounts. I admit it is hard to earn merit points but having this system you will obligated to post quality ones and it will be possibly the start to continually improve your post. There are also some threads who were offering some smerit in exchange with task that is needed to do.

Merit system has hang every one in the crypto market like those who are done ranks in th past they will be in the higher position while the lower will slow to get the progress to the high level and this is unfair in my opinion the previous method were good to rank up with the daily and weekly activity and it was good for those who are in the active position and for me the bitcoin is really important because now i have no extra income and i want to grow in the bitcoin so for me the merit system is tough as i am active but it will need much time.

Well I think this is because the forum is starting to become overcrowded, overpopulated, and polluted. Since bitcoin's skyrocketing season, this forum also skyrocketed wih users because they found out that you can earn money in here. Because of that, the forum lost its essence and became an advertising medium. Questions are getting repeated and answers are not as accurate as the old times. Some just post for compliance. So the merit system I think is a good idea.

First of all, we are not the developers of this forum so we must accept what they need to add. If they think merit will be a benefit to most of the users then they will add it. Second, another merit thread again. You must move this on meta because most of the merit topics there are about merits.

Merit has been added because of shitposters ranking easily by posting some one liner posts which is consider as spamming.

There are some services that gives merits to high quality posts. You just need to go to services child board and find it.

It is fair enough. they are just protecting us by preventing spammers clogging to the forums posting irrelevan topics (being able to earn from it). with the merit system i think they wanted us to post helpful ideas that can help the crypto society.

Yeah, at least we have to keep looking at the good side of things. So far, a lot of spammers have reduced and with the way things are going, we are going to get the system cleaned.

Nevertheless, I totally understand how some new members may be feeling with the whole idea of not at least giving them a chance to rank up as a result of the merit, but those who bother too much about merit really should not, and once some merit givers see the consistency and quality of their posts, they will hit those merits and rank up in no time.

No it will not be unfair it will only encourage the members of this bitcoin organization to make the best posts that are worth for reading , not just posting for the purpose to accomplish the required post per week by ICOs that does not have good ideas , legendary ,hero, senior ,and full members will give their merits if the post have the quality and I believe in them.

very agree with the statement you give, and I also agree with you, how merit system should exist that did not exist, for the old users may have no effect but for the new users is very influential when the promotion should be supported by posting a quality , while the quality comment or not it depends on the thinking of everyone who reads

that's just one thing that I found it is merit for me is not unfair so much its a useful but it has advantaged and disadvantage , as well as positive thinking and effect for all of us .any the disadvantage of a merit system is that you have no chose and nothing can do about it and we just have to do it work everyday and well post with a quality and always obey and comply with the rules here in the forum .I'm sure the merit will follow you .well those merit system also helps you to be good in analysis and planning .so just keep making good post and wait that give you a merit .....

Yes you right! You have a point. People is very selfish, so even you have a good and quality post you can`t say you can receive a merit from someone its because most of people in world are doing something for a reason, but always remember there are some people who can give a merit to us if you have a good and quality post, like manager in any campaign that we have joned.

There are few people here, who can give you a free merit that is why now is hard rank up.

I agree to you mate, as much as I would like to work hard making a quality post sometimes I realized that it became useless because not everyone will appreciate it nor give merits even if they find it useful. I hope we can go back in those time when merit system is not yet implemented.

And that totally means that naturally you are a shit poster and you prefer being a shit poster. If you are posting because you want merit and not because of the things you have to contribute, then people like you are the main reason why the merit system is in place.

At least since you know you are not going to be getting merit for your post since that is the only reason you have your account, then you are free to remain in that position for long. Why are people always clamoring for merit if they really have the desire to post quality posts, if you are here to really learn and contribute, merit will even be the last thing on your mind.

yes. I agree with you. There are a lot of good quality posts that are made in different places and only a few members can give merit points. Because that is limited we can't be sure that they can read all the posts. The few people that can really give you merit points can't be active all the time and can't read everything.
