My order of 100 gridseeds turned up Tuesday. I opened one box after ebaying a few, hmm, look a bit dusty. Have they been running them while waiting to sell them?

Tonight, I opened a second box.

Guess what?

The fan brackets were rusty! Shocked

Many from that box also have scrape marks on the base of the heatsink. These ones are silver with very bright LEDs. I have two boxes of the ratty silver ones, One box has rusty fan brackets, the other one seemed ok rustwise, if not scrapewise, but I only looked at 10. I also have 3 boxes of gold ones that look new but slightly dusty.

How the fuck am I supposed to sell rusty and scraped gridseeds as new?

I am so glad I'm a paranoid person who checks things aren't DOA and gets the serial number before sending out...

On-Hold means the funds have not reached our bank yet. We check our bank account everyday, and once it's cleared, we ship the order on the next day.

Was about to order 1 more blade this morning, but when I woke up BTC price had dropped like a stone Shocked

So I'm gonna chill abit and hope for BTC to rise.

BTW my blade has now been running 36h without problems with stable hashrate at 5.4Mh/s @ 800Mhz HW errors is about 0.002% Grin

i have tested them on loads of pools and i have not had any issues apart from the PSU i was using
i was using a 400w PSU but it was not man enough to run the 4 blades so i changed it to a 640w and now its running fine

Ok. I'm going public here to seek some help because I'm getting very frustrated and I am hoping that the guy in england who represensts this company can help.

I have been trying to communicate with the guy in china via email and I cannot understand what he is writing.

He told me to send back my blade that smoked as soon as I plugged it in, but he is telling me via email that hewill not ship a relplacement and only wantsto give me a $300 credit.

I am sure thi is incorrect. Can you help me plese?

I paid $3625 for two blades and he sounds ike he does not wan to send me a replacement blades even though I am paying to ship thisone back.

What am I missing here?

Please help with thi return.

That is entirely unrelated to my question. I'm referring to unit prices from resellers of ~120 elsewhere, and bulk from resellers going as low as ~85.

Even MinerEU 10 units is at 135 dollar a unit, compared to the 235 dollar single units.
That's excluding shipping. Clearly the single units are too expensive.

Yes you have to add VAT and possible customs charges to the China prices
So even if China would be 500 cheaper it would get more expensive to order from there
