What was the amount with which you started trading
I mean your very basic investment and was that your extra money or required money?
I think it all depends on the personality of each person. nothing set a minimum limit for someone to trade. and I would rather recommend for a basic investment by using extra cash. because in my opinion, trading or investment cryptocurrency also has risks. so it's better not to use the money we need. better the money we need, used for our own needs. and if you have understood and have a good strategy in cryptocurrency. I think you can decide to invest or trade again with a larger amount. but for the basic stage, it is better to use extra money, which amount may not be much.

If you are beginner I would suggest you to start first at small capital maybe around 100dollars. Then once you mastered trading then you can add your capital.

In order to determine the amount of capital needed to day trade, risk management must be addressed. Day traders shouldn't risk more than one percent of their account on any single trade. If trading a $40,000 account, that means the maximum loss a trader should take is $400 on any given trade.

For day traders in the U.S. the legal minimum balance required to day trade stocks is $25,000. If the balance drops below this, day trading isn't allowed until a deposit is made bringing the balance above $25,000. To allow a buffer, day traders in the U.S. should have at least $30,000 in their account if they wish to day trade stocks. On $30,000, no more than $300 should be risked on any one trade.

I think if you want to start trading with a small amount, it will reduce your risk of loss if you lose the trade.

investing or trading with a small amount do sill have a risk because the market of cryptos is pretty unstable . although i agree that you can reduce or mininmize your risk of loosing but you do also minimize your chances of winning .

anyway , i think the recomended minimum amount for trading is 100$ because that is aleady enough to pay for the excessive fees when you buy and sell your coins .

some exchange nowadays are also have a minimum amount to reach in order you can make a withdrawal or deposit transactions  , that is why you should always prepare enough of cash in order to get started .

I started at all with a small amount, about $ 100, during the pampas the crypts worked out well. Now, of course, everything is quieter, less volatile, which is bad for a trader.

Usually, those guys that invest in the cryptocurrency large sums of money and have enough patients to hold their altcoins for a pretty long time, get the best profits. However, as a beginner, you can start even at $20.

The amount could depend upon your earning and saving. If you have some job and can easily manage to put 100$ and even if lose you are okay then one can start with this amount and start investing in some altcoins and btc. Also can invest in good ICO.

ARE YOU TRADING CRYPTOCURRENCY IN BINANCE EXCHANGE
If you are trading cryptocurrency in binance exchange than you might be aware that their minimum amount of BTC to trade was 0.001BTC few days back ,but now they just pushed their minimum amount of BTC to 0.002BTC which might be a bad sign for the new & small traders which might stucked in the trade on binance.

My suggestion is start with about $500 but don't withdraw your profits-instead reinvest them with your initial $500 do this repeatedly this is like compound interest it will soon add up to sizable fund.

The Future Of Work
July 14, 2018, 02:34:27 PM
I saw one topic where some one write that, you can start training even from 100 USD and try to make 10% in month. Make for you like event or challenge) you will not loose so many, but you can receive a lot experience )
I think that 100 dollars is quite enough, because for a beginner you need to try to work with several coins and not at a great price. Of course it would be interesting to look for only such coins that have a good price fluctuation chart within 5% per day.

From my newbie experience, I think that loosing of small amount, it’s not enough. If you will loose 10 times by 5 usd it will be not stressful and painful. So if you loose 50 usd in one time, you will start to think more accurate)

I think if you want to normally take part in investing or trading, you should have a starting capital of 500-1000 dollars in ETH/BTC

There are not any minimum capital that we need to begin the trading, every quantity may be used as a capital for our startup. It depends on how much you want to earn. It could be $100 or more.

as others have said. I would advise to trade paper while studying BTC ropes and bursa. Also, always have a plan to trade. Having no attitude, "My ZOMG will make a million dollars and quit my job, you have to keep looking at charts and prices all day long, not worth your time to trade for a few hundred a month.

You should decide it by yourself but if you will start with very small amount it will force you to take on more risk on each trade, which could quickly deplete your account with a string of losses.
It all depends on how much you can afford to invest or trade, and the amount you can afford to lose. It's risky and unstable, it's important that you know how to strategize to be guided. It's not all about the amount after all, it's more on how much effort you have exerted to gain knowledge and how committed you are to learn inorder to make the right decision, and be aware how this market functions.
