Hey tytanick

do you have any plan to implement the beam equihash gpu miner as soon as the mainnet is released ?
That could be awesome. Let me know if you need more info.  Grin

Admin,

Do you have any suggestion, how I determine which card caused whole system reboot? It's still bugging me and it's solved nicely on HiveOS, but not in SM :/

Does anyone know how to Mine Loki or other types of Cryptonight Heavy coins with the newer xmrig-amd or xmrstack?
they dont support the newer amd drivers.

And be sure to dual-thread (XMR-STAK) for maximum hashrates! :-)

You have to use an smOS image that uses AMD 18.10 drivers, not the 18.30 drivers.

Hi all,

I am trying to investigate one rig, which resets every hour or so. I have 132 restart in few days.
Using 4x AMD Radeon 480 and 1x AMD Radeon 580.

Current OC settings are somewhat conservative:
Core MHz: 1000
Memory MHz: 2000
Core undervolt: 900
Powerstage: 3

Each time system reboots, I lose claymore-eth-v11.9 log file so I don't know what caused reboot. Is there any way to fix this?

I had similar issue months ago - I replaced the PSU and RAM - and the problem went away.

Lol, maybe I should replace whole miner? This is software issue, that it doesn't allow me to diagnose hardware in easy way.

I had to write script to redirect tail of log file to separate log file every 15 seconds. Then I read it after reboot and see if it catched anything about GPU error. And I found it, GPU1, always the same, causes reboots and hungs. It was not easy task to do :/ Taking into account my limitation in remote control of the rigs and very hard access to them.
Now I will prepare to replace riser and clean out card, this should help. not replacing half of the miner, for Christ sake.... Cheesy

With all due respects to the developer of smos I think it would be nice of him to consider a reduction in the fee. People that pay more than 0.1$/kwh which most people do are already mining at a loss. Having to pull out another 2$  for every rig just feels kinda sad.

For me I got free electricity and I ll probably still use your software even if the fees double because I m lazy. Just stating an opinion.

Probably you are trying to mine Ethereum fork. Please specify _-allcoins 1_ or _-allpools 1_ option. Check _Readme_ file for details.

What I did wrong? Sorry for stupid question - newbie here.

Hi there,
Can anybody let me know what miner and syntax I have to choose to start mining CLO (Callisto Network). I have rig with RX580 8Gb. Thanks in advance!

You should do a bit of Google to find the answer...

CLO I think is Ethash - so the trusty Claymore miner should do the trick.

I did try google-it but didn't find how to syntax should like to be for claymore I find
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool eu.clo.epool.io:8008 -pool2 us.clo.epool.io:8008 -worker WorkerName -wal YourEthWalletAddress -pass x -coin clo -retrydelay 2
But I don't know how to use that information to write syntax in SM.

This is my for ETC
-wd 1 -r 1 -epool ssl://eu1-etc.ethermine.org:5555 -ewal 0x926d4b97e5995cc4049cd1658718d7d1cc2a41.rig1 -epsw x -allpools 1 -asm 1 -mport 127.0.0.1:3333

So can I use something like this:
-wd 1 -r 1 -epool eu.clo.epool.io:8008 -pool2 us.clo.epool.io:8008 -worker rig1 -wal 0x926d4b97e5995cc4049cd1658718d7d1cc2a41 -pass x -coin clo -retrydelay 2
Of course I will put CLO wallet address.

Sorry for bothering but I'm quite new in this.

Maybe it's -ewal, you've deleted "e" from your command line
