Tytanik please update EWBF to v0.5 thank you!

Yes, please.
This results are very promising:

* 144_5 Speed up by 3-15% depends on the hardware.

144_5 uses ~2.0GB vram
 1050ti   ~15 S/s
 1060    ~27 S/s
 1070    ~40 S/s
 1080    ~45 S/s
 1080ti    ~64 S/s

(And if you have any relax time, update NVidia driver  Cheesy )

EDIT:
You are fast, like the flash!
What a perfect service!

All of a sudden my rig is getting a lot of restarts, the error I am seeing is "sdma ring timeout"
Never had this before, maybe a recent update to the kernel is causing this Huh

I am never updating kernel or drivers in auto updates.
This is my rule and updating this would just crash many rigs.
So only way of updating kernel and drivers is by downloading new image.
But we are working on "optional" update system that would allow do update current image to newest.

Auto updates are mostly script updates which muste bo done to make compatible dashboard and rig communication Smiley

Is there any chance to update Nvidia drivers from 390 to 396?
Its critical for me, because I cannot make power limit lower than 95W on 1063 cards. On Ubuntu 16.04 with 396 driver I can do this.

Thanks

Just a quick question here, I turned one of my rigs from windows into SMOS, The resolution and GUI doesn't  seem to fit my monitor correctly, Is there a way to change resolution so it displays properly on the monitor? i have the monitor plugged into the 1080ti hdmi port that is in 16x slot 1, i originally disabled the motherboard onboard graphics as it was causing conflicts with my windows miners. Thanks for any help offered

By GUI do you mean console/terminal? Because I've never seen a GUI on any of the SMOS rigs that I use. It should look similar to what XiriusZ10 posted a few posts up in his image without the trace log if everything is working fine.

Hi everyone,

I'm getting this error since yesterday. I believe it could be a riser that it's failing, but I don't know which one. do you see something?

https://imgur.com/a/GUKi25F

Thanks  Cheesy!

It could be a riser, that's the cheapest component that it could be so if you can swap it out to test do that, I've seen traces happen for no reason and the system just boot after a period of time, and I've seen the graphics cards being bad causing it to happen.

Yes sorry I mean terminal not gui. My terminal/pc monitor is working, but the display info looks to large for the screen size. In fact some of the info doesn’t fit across the terminal screen, it looks like I have to turn the resolution up so it fits. The letters on the terminal are large. Hope this makes sense. Thanks

I don't know for sure, but when I get weird errors usually what fixes them is a new USB stick with a fresh install of the latest SMOS.

Any chance of adding CryptoDredge?
Only if there will be bigger interest in that miner in our voting pool.
Right now not so much.

Thanks for the reply.  Never clicked on the vote feature until now. Smiley

I'm checking the changelog daily waiting for that feature.
Is there a specific reason why its not available for us yet?

We are still have that "in progress" and also there are things that we are doing on serverside and codeside that i cannot tell here and it is also eating our time.
Like security and billing stuff and other things that we need to have ASAP.

tytanick for the amazing work ure doing.

Any reason why the telegram bot is not allowed to work in a group? We have a mining farm that we maintain as a group, and it really sucks that only 1 member get notified about a rig going offline.

I hope u provide a solution for that asap, and thank u again for ur time and effort toward the community.
We have that feature curently in progress in our dev enviroment so it should be soon Smiley

Wow you don’t mess around

I forgot to pay my fee on my rigs and checked today and I’ve been blocked lol

Needless to say I’ve sent my fee plus some extra so hopefully I get my rigs back online again

I have multiple SMos accounts. Same thing happened to me.

Seems like I should get an email or something to let me know before blocking my account. YOU HAVE my email address obviously.  This is very bad business practice on SMos part.

Another reason why the majority of my rigs are on ETHos not this piece of $%&@

IF you have blocked account, then your rigs are working as usual, you just do not have access to dashboard, and you need to pay to unlock your account.
Once your account is unlocked, you can continue watching dashboard.

Banning on the other hand is little different and i am doing that after some period of timewhen account has negative balance.

I have just started a new rig and only have one card on it so far -- RX 480.

I have had the rig running for  a day, but then iit will just stop and give me a  message  "ext4-fs error (device sda2)."

So, I have to shut the rig off and then turn it back on.. However, when I turn it back on, I get this  message,, "(sda) Asking for cache data failed
Assuming drive cache:  write through."  Sometimes I have to restart the computer. Other times, it gives me this:

dev/sda2  recovering journal

and finally starts mining.

I'm using a 32 GB USB..

I also have these overclocking settings: core; 1100, memory; 2100, core undervolting; 950.

Is something wrong with my USB? Or is it something else? How do I tackle this problem?

You're acting like getting the web ui blocked is a big deal, it's not like when you fail to pay all your rigs stop working, you just loose access to viewing what they are doing online + the ability to change what they are doing. When you log in and see you lost access to those two things pay, not that hard. This software is very lenient towards it's users.

But yeah an email option shouldn't be that hard for them to do. As in you opt in for emails if your account is approaching zero or  is now negative.

Set a simple reminder with monthly repeat your phone:
"Pay SMOS"
(if i buy bread, i go to casse before eat it in my home)

Else i think too, an email or telegram notification is a good idea.
