@tytanic, what is the Linux AMD GPU driver version implemented for RX series in SMOS? Just wonder to know.
Its 16.60 right now but i  will also prepare new image with 17.xx drivers but i am still waiting for AMD fix release for linux.
If that wont happen in next 1-2 weeks i will anyway make new image to support those Vega GPUs.

Current drivers you can check here:

Only work for amd, Nvidia did not show the current driver

Any eta on group function release?

Hi, tytanick. I am a new SimpleMining.net user, and really happy with the OS, but i have a new issue. One of my rigs is not starting up (There is no screen to be attached matching miner) - writes the screen full. If I change the miner program, i get a "no cuda GPU" error message. Could you help? Thanks

update: pulled out all riser cables, put them again in. Is starting now. Strange...

Ahh, I see it now. Btw. did you check this AMD comunity thread: https://community.amd.com/thread/219309?

I really doubt Linux drivers will be released within 1-2 weeks.

Get Paid Crypto To Walk or Drive
Tytanik, do you know whats going on here?
Not really but please upgrade your motherboard to newest. then plug out your motherboard batter and power from PSU. Wait 10 minutes. and then sec in bios:
1) Make sure you are running the latest BIOS!
2) Set device to boot from USB/pendrive
3) Upgrade bios to newest (important !)
4) Enable 4G encode
5) Set PCIe support to Auto
6) Enable onboard graphics to default (PEG - > IDG)
7) Plug your monitor into the ONBOARD graphics

Also this can be also bad riser, bad gpu, and many other things. Try connecting less gpus and see whats happening.

Ok, I will work through those things this weekend.  Thank you for the advice.

So that error message is based on my equipment and nothing going wrong with the actual mining?
When you say "please upgrade your motherboard to newest".  Do you mean BIOS or actually using a different motherboard?

Thanks again!

Get Paid Crypto To Walk or Drive
Can anyone help me with this mining issue?  I bought a 4 GPU rig from a member on this forum and for the life of me cannot get the thing to run for more than a couple of hours at a time.  I have tried each GPU individually, and every time it ends up just giving me this error after a few hours.
http://imgur.com/a/asI2J
The details of the rig are here...
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wts-4-rx-580-ethereum-mining-rig-2013051
and the only difference is that I used my own version of simpleminer on a USB drive.

I am running Core Mhz at 1162 and Memory Mhz at 1750 with a powerstage of 3 (I believe that is stock settings for the 580?)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Someone else have a hasrate drop by the dag raising?
Yes, me. SMOS - 109MH/s vs Windows 10 - 120MH/s (4x RX580). I'm sure @tytanic will update Linux AMD drivers with fixed DAG issue as soon as AMD released such of drivers.
I will as soon as i will know that amd released it Smiley
