Yeah the zec at 1980 clay 11.1 is good.

I will do the other xmr later tonight.

sgminer-gm on XMR seems doing well with RX cards.

XMR wolf miner seems to do well for non-RX cards

Claymore's XMR/Cryptonight miner v9.7 is pretty good too but still has room to improve for RX cards.... still waiting for Claymore to do something but he said he working on the ZEC miner first then the XMR miner.

I must be too tired can't seem to get Sgminer-gm to work .

I want to use nano pool . I will try tomorrow.

Wolf worked  okay but not with the panda.  It is missing a file for 8 gpus

i am using sgminer-gm for XMR mining at nano pool too.... here my command line (Poloniex address) with a primary and secondary servers.

I think this will work   one question

  -w 8 --text-only   <  what does this do?

Only ZEC end ETH Claymore is fully compatible with new and-gpu drivers.
Rest XMR especially is not compatible with new drivers so thats why isnt working Smiley

Mmm.. you should do some more testing because it is perfectly working..

XMR mining with sgminer-gm v5.5.5 is running solid on the Panda and also non RX rigs.

do you think to implement PascalMiner?

only solo mining possible because no mining pools have Pascal coin....

... rumor is that suprnova may have one coming up soon.

Apart from ETH, ZEC and XMR miner list in SMos.... maybe we should have 1 category for Others.

Yes and the pandaminer works but I only have 3 gpus running not 8  I am going to need help as to why only 3 fire up.  Maybe it is wolf miner.

Your default clocks on PandaMiner are 1145/2050 ? In my PandaM were 1220/2000.

I think 1220/2000 is the stock settings with custom Panda ROM.

After the Kernel 10 RC3 upgrade, I notice my Panda's timings are 1145 / 2050.

Mining ZEC and XMR mainly, I do get a good speed bump of 200-300 hash; not much but still stable especially with ZEC with Claymore v11.1 and XMR with sgminer-gm v5.5.5

Philip, can you try reloading / reboot miner (I guess you may already have done that) -- if still persist, then use sgminer to mine XMR - its rock solid for me on the Panda.

Edit claymore 11.1 zec works

amd wolf xmr miner seems to be missing a file

cp:cannot stat 'xmr8.conf'

look at second screen shot

the good news is my pandaminer is running zec close to 2k  which would be 250 x 8 = 2k

I was getting 237 on windows 10 running clay 11.1

the missing file is listed below

so i got 2 pcs to boot both have same error how to fix?

which miner are you using phil?

likely syntax error

for XMR mining, wolf and sgminer is best

claymore's xmr miner still not there yet esp for RX cards

Okay I am learning I got zec clay 11.1 to work

So according to you I will need wolf for xmr.

enough for tonight I did not understand checking boxes off was needed to lock in the changes and stay on a selection.

At least I got a rig going. Tomorrow I try xmr.  and make some clones.

right now I am running the z270 mobo off of a 32 gb usb3 stick
seems a bit power hungry

For ZEC, you should try Optiminer v1.5, I think its faster than Clay 11.1

I got the best and stable results with sgminer-gm v5.5.5 for XMR mining for most pools.

sgminer also has failover pool settings in the same syntax line so its great.

Tytanick's default intensity settings of 1008 and w 8 is good to go - for mix RX and non RX cards too.

Most of my ex-Windows rigs, I just run SMos direct from the existing SSDs without using USB stick.

So I first loaded the SMos on a windows drive . The folder flashed to the USB stick.

So can I just boot into Linux while I am in windows by going to,that folder?

Boot Linux from Windows.... no, I dont think that works in what we doing here with SMos.

What i mean was I completely zapped the SSD drive (previously with Windows) with SMos with HDDraw utility.

So effectively the SSD drive is the "USB thumdrive"... Wink

Okay I will buy some cheap ssds and clone it .  That rig is a bit too good for me to do that.
Did a switch to xmr using  wolf   I get 515 for an rx 470 not pushed.  3 gpu rig is doing 1545.
