I get connect: no error repeatedly while I can use internet fine for other things. I have to restart computer for miner to work. It will never connect unless I shutdown the rig and start again. I'm not referring to restarting, but fully shutdown and power back up. Otherwise it will give error. This is only sometimes

Hi topteam, fistsofgod,if the system gets unstable and the nvidia driver hangs, miniZ cannot exit. Also miniZ does not have permission to restart the system.
You have to use an external program that forces system restart.

miniZ continues mining for 3 minutes. When it reconnects, it will send pending shares, receive a new job, continue mining, and the message disapears.
The message may appear again if the connection is lost.

Hi EPEMA,in the next version the nocolor option will remove colors from the console (besides the logfile).
However, you can try and use another console. A few months ago, we tried ConEmu terminal emulator and it worked fine. There are others available, which should also work OK.

miner is still unstable for me at OC settings lower than those stable in gminer. i run my cards at 50-55% PL. im getting crashes every few hrs, sometimes less. OC settings are not high at all. sometimes runs for many hrs and sometimes few minutes
Hi fistsofgod,we corrected a few bugs and it is now more stable. This should be fixed in the next version.

why big ping?
Hi rusian4040,when the miner starts you see a higher latency time because of communication handshake, and because the average time window was too big. This will be corrected in the next version.

It looks like that the GPU became unstable. Try to tweak the OC settings, they might need adjustment.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, now it is clear that you do not want to use miniZ log file, you just want to redirect all the output
directly to your syslog.
The --nocolor option removes the color from the logfile (generated with --logfile option that you are not using).
To achieve what you need, try:

Hi topteam,
Sorry for the misunderstanding, now it is clear that you do not want to use miniZ log file, you just want to redirect all the output
directly to your syslog.
The --nocolor option removes the color from the logfile (generated with --logfile option that you are not using).
To achieve what you need, try:

I write log directly to syslog, can you check your syslog?
And have line in sh before miner

im using coinblockers, today miner stop again without error. I must add log option

I'm getting this on 0.5-82. That's because Hive folder for custom miners has changed in 0.6 for which you did the package. On 0.6 it is fine.
