Thank you for giving us an alternate miner but with same fee and less hashrate than Gminer, it does not look attractive to use. I hope next release will beat Gminer.

Just wanted to give you a update on this post and to correct a error in it. I indicated that it worked with a 348.111 driver.

I have now corrected that post to show it is the 384.111 driver that it works with.

When I posted, it was late for me and I was pretty tired at the moment.

My sincere apologies for taking so long in recognizing the error.

I just discovered it now as I was viewing your website looking to see what version Cuda you are compiled with and noticed the 348.111 statement.

I sincerely hope this error has not caused you or anyone any difficulties. From what I can see here, no one has mentioned anything about it and it is very unlikely anyone would be using a driver that old for mining anyway.

Hi Overdrive5, thank you for letting us know! As you wrote "no one has mentioned anything about it and it is very unlikely anyone would be using a driver that old for mining", so we do not think that caused any trouble. Smiley
We corrected both the website (https://miniz.ch/features-miniz-equihash-1445-miner/) and the post (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.43081625)

So what version Cuda are you compiling with?

I am in the process of compiling/testing both 390.87 & 410.73 drivers and I now am seeing a slight Sol rate increase between a competitor's cuda 8.0 and cuda 9.1 versions.

So I wanted to let you know that if you are compiling with cuda 8.0, you may want to offer a cuda 9.1 or higher version as well.

This may be a piece of the puzzle in improving your Sol rate even further.

Hope this Helps

Windows release is compiled with Cuda 9.1 already.
Linux version is compiled with Cuda 8.0. We've tried Cuda 9.1 but did not see much difference, so for sake of compatibility with older systems we will keep Cuda 8.0. But, if we see that it is holding us back we'll change, of course. Thanks for the tip!

We keep working on improvements. It is likely we'll be able to release an even better miniZ soon. Smiley

Hi, Just thought you would like to know it does work with ZhashOS using Nvidia 348.111 driver.

Really like the UI report information. Sol rate was a little slower using the same O/C settings for EWBF.

I was seeing 35.5-36 Sol/s with 1070ti @ 104w, +240cc, +1290mc. I would normally see 36-42 Sol/s.

But I only ran it for a few minutes as it is late here.

I'll try to see if the app can allow a higher O/C bump tomorrow and let you know.

I think you are off to a really good start, but will need to get more optimization to be head on competitive.

Looking forward to your continued efforts!

Hi, Just stopping by to say thanks for your work in the asic resistant equihash algorithm arena.

And to thank you for posting in our thread as well. Please feel free to give any updates / suggestions as you think are needed.

We have decided to add your miner to our ZhashOS Release 3.

FYI, ZhashOS is a Power $aving Pendrive OS that also allows users to keep their Win10/7 intact.

Hi,

It is good to know!

For both speed and consumption there are differences, for that GPU. Although they are not the same, they look less dissimilar if one looks at efficiencies.

It is always better to let miniZ run for a bit, so that it can be closer to a steady state. The average tends to be pretty stable making it easier to compare.

Thank you for the feedback. Smiley

Hi,

It should work fine.

Unfortunately, we do not have a 1080Ti so we don't know how well it would perform.

It would be great to have your feedback Smiley
